I got my Victrix Honour Guard finished. I’ll post some pics later on, hopefully. Right now I’m avoiding schoolwork…good thing it’s almost lunch time…

That was very well put, @limburger, with the comments on emotional connection. I guess with WW2 things and being British, the war was never really portrayed as ‘bad’ but ‘necessary’ and that breeds a different emotional connection to it even if the truth is not quite so black and white.

Has the current political situation in eastern Europe changed your hobby in any way?

I noticed a few of the Ukrainian miniatures brands had closed their stores while they relocated away from the war zone, like Wargame Exclusive.

Are you still taking care of yourself?

It helps that I always work from home, but I’ve definitely exercised less over the last couple of years, and that’s taking a toll.

Why do I still read comment sections on YouTube?

I have to for my own channel, but tend to avoid looking for other people’s channels.

It’s Thursday already. Sorry for my lack of participation but both wife and daughter have tested positive with a self test and now We’re stuck in isolation until we either get the “all clear” from the PRC test this afternoon or for another 8 days when one of them is indeed infected. Which is highly likely sadly.

So far I still feel fine but that also may be just a matter of time.

Tiny Furniture, a resin miniatures company mostly making uncommon generic fantasy miniatures is located in Russia. They’re cut off from payments because of SWIFT, but payments are in dollars, at least, not rubles.

@sundancer I hope all is well and that the more nasty side effects of covid don’t show themselves.

So far I’ve either been damn lucky or had a very mild infection that I didn’t even notice.

Do hope I get to do a bit of hobby ‘soon’  because I haven’t had time to do anything due to real life making its presence felt.

Did finish listening to ‘The Hobbit’ (soo much better than the movies 😉 ) and am currently starting on book 1 of the ‘Demon Princes’ cycle by Jack Vance.
