Thanks @torros, work has slowed a bit on the project thanks to year end and stocktake crap but hopefully I should be able to post a wip on the gobbo soon.

@mage if you like 10mm don’t forget to check out magister millitum as well – the gobbos and Dwarves I have are mainly theirs as I felt that their fantastic range was a little less cartoonish (esp the Dwarves).

It was awesome to see the team at Salute yesterday. Caught up with Andy Zeck last thing. Played the 6mm 4Ground game formerly known as World War Zero too. Thanks for making the show great.

I won a speed painting prize. I have taken part the last few years and enjoyed it, but being judged best out of 12 this time felt great. (easily pleased)

I worked on him another 20-30 mins and am happy with him now.

Whilst I wait on some glue to dry (it’s been a dettol and prep day), I thought I’d share something not strictly miniatures based – but is hobby, I suppose, and cool. I got the old sketchbook out and did some old skool 70s/80s style drawings. Been far too lazy, and my crosshatching pen and ink technique is waaay rusty, but a wee bit of practice and I’ll be cracking out big A3/A2 things pretty soon again.

Four more characters finished for the wander: cult of barnacle bay. Tried using some dry pigments to shade Chompy (the shark bear). Think it worked well.
