June 6, 2018 at 12:19 pm #1202710At the moment I’m working on some Volksgrenadiers (two squads) for my Bolt Action late war Germans. I used the new Warlord Games winter Germans and mixed them up with other Warlord bitzs. I want that they get a dirty and exhausted look. In my opinion this fits perfect for the last infantry divisions of the Reich formed in late ’44.
Hope you like them. Six ready 14 to go.

June 6, 2018 at 1:56 pm #1202751Finally got this wee commission piece finished up on stream this evening. Gorgeous imperial assassin from wargamesexclusive. Really enjoyed painting this one

June 6, 2018 at 2:10 pm #1202758Just an update for WAYPN on how my Hoth army is coming along. I’ve been casting my own bases for the troops and plodding through the painting. Full details in my PLOG https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/tonys-star-wars-legion-hoth-project/

June 7, 2018 at 12:03 am #1203159“Easterling War Priests can channel the wrath of Sauron and imbue a portion of his dark rage into his followers, instilling them the fervour to strike down their foes. When the fighting is done, the War Priests scour the battlefield, claiming the wounded for sacrifice.”

June 7, 2018 at 12:15 am #1203161I painted this Gallic Celt Chieftain from Warlord Games. I did a bit of freehand on the shield and really like how it turned out. This is also the first time I paint a miniature in multiple parts. Just got the basing and final assembly to do.

I finished another mini. This is the Mistress of Repentance (right) from Games Workshop. I also finished up the basing and glued on the shield for the Gallic Celt Chieftain (left) from Warlord Games.
June 7, 2018 at 8:49 am #1203252Painting up terrain this week…

This is some of the runic rocks from Oathsworn for use as terrain/objective markers and also the old ruins by DarkOps which I’m using to help break up the board a bit more. Will have to show you how it all looks when it’s finished!
June 7, 2018 at 10:24 am #1203286Im back to doing some commission work after messing around with the beholder. Tonight finished work is a group of satyxis gunslingers. The wood grain on the deck panels are all hand painted on.

June 7, 2018 at 2:02 pm #1203421I started painting Poison Ivy and her plants from Knight Models. Unfortunately hay fever is having me down and I can’t focus on painting. Note: the hay fever is not caused by the plants I was painting, I hope.
June 7, 2018 at 9:34 pm #1203568June 7, 2018 at 10:22 pm #1203571I managed to finish Poison Ivy and her plants from Knight Models tonight. Really beautiful and well detailed miniatures to paint, I really enjoyed it.
June 8, 2018 at 7:19 am #1203628I got the low troll from the Massive Darkness kickstarter extras box done. I really enjoy painting the trolls and ogres from this range. They have a lot of caharcter and an amazing amount of details, the price considered.

He won’t be up on my MD project blog just yet, but once he’s there, I’ll have the list of paints used there as well.
