More Mortal Gods units done.
I’ve been working on an Abhorrent Archregent for age of sigmar.
I’ve made a little progress on my old school Bloodthirster from my project. I’m not sure what colour to do the hair, which looks like chains or rebar to me. I believe the stock colour is black, but then thats 3 different blacks at least on this model. Perhaps I’ll go dark brown and shade with black?
I’m also not sure what to do with all the claws and spikes on the wings. Originally they were bone, but the new stock colour is yet more black. I could go bone, or match the horns or go black. What do people think? I’m alos not sure what to do with the whip, but its got lots of texture so I imagine it’ll involve washes and drybrusing.
I’d be curious to know what years this was the current model for. It looks old but I’ve no idea how old.

So currently that brings the force to around 1250 points worth of painted troops.
Need to add 5 more Cavalry troopers and another infantry block to round out to 1500 points
Managed to paint up 9 models in 10 days to a standard I am really happy with.
I blogged it as a Spring clean challenge entry, because I had abandoned these guys a while ago.
I primed them brown and found it hard to get the skin tones up to where I wanted them the first time around and am really glad I didn’t strip them or abandon them entirely.
The terminators are all finished up. A bit of freehand on the chapter symbols. Not the greatest at freehand but I think it came out ok.

Two NCOs wip.
Built and painted my first Universal Carrier for my Sikh army I will use for Bolt Action. First go on the Caunter camo for which I used the AK Caunter Camo paint set which I highly recommend. The paints are rather thin though and need to be carefully applied (and in some layers) when using a brush. After all I’m rather happy with the result.
