Wow there is some awesome and varied stuff here.
Am currently working on some zombies (sorry, walkers!) for The Walking Dead: All out War game. These guys are great fun to paint, very characterful!

June 8, 2018 at 1:54 pm #1203917Been printing more of the Printable Scenery on my Prusa i3 mk3. No problems at all printing these; I think the quality is good enough for terrain.

Total printing time is about 100-150h, been working away on the three floors the recent days. Getting to the stage where one can start to see where it is going.
June 8, 2018 at 2:12 pm #1203936That building looks awesome , it should really paint up great . Did you start small like 3D printed fences , barrels and boxes , or did you just jump in the deep end – 3 story buildings ? But 100 – 150 hours work time , by the time it was done I would have moved on to another project . How much the printer and associated bits and pieces cost you , and do you have to be computer literate to use it ? Been thinking about getting one but tech isn’t my thing
June 8, 2018 at 9:01 pm #1204097@a27cromwell – I did start small indeed, doing some crates and the obligatory boaty. I was surprised how well these prints turned out so I wanted to go to something bigger. I also went in on the Printable Scenery Kickstarter and their 3D-files are extremely well made, so all my prints so far come from them. There is a lot of free stuff on the net, but their quality is far better than what you get for free, if you ask me. My printer is a prebuilt Prusa i3 mk3 which have been printing robustly for about 300h or so now; very little calibration, and no assembly needed by myself. I would gather I used about 12€ of PLA filament or so for this print, the printer itself is about 1000€. Programs have been easy to use, so you should be ok :-).
June 8, 2018 at 10:51 pm #1204143I painted Rennie & Tilda from Hasslefree Miniatures. I’m not too happy with their faces, but I think I might leave them as they look acceptable in real life, just not on the pictures.
June 9, 2018 at 12:24 am #1204194Picked these up at UK Games Expo and did a quick job to get them tabletop ready for my first games this weekend. Think they turned out ok.
more to come.

June 9, 2018 at 6:46 am #1204294Been quite a while, but I’m finally cranking out painted minis again. These are from two different board games, but I like how they play off each other, in a very “The Sacred and The Profane” kind of way. Hope you like.

Last two black rats.Really happy with the result in these as I cranked them out in just a couple of days. Time for gaming now.

June 9, 2018 at 10:02 pm #1205192Hey folks,
I’ve not posted for ages and wow i’m loving the new style site.
I thought I would attach a few of the things I have been painting up recently, WiP and completed pics.

So in no particular order –
My attempt at an Historical figure WiP and finished pics
A conversion I tried on one of my Slaughter priests
2 of my Orlocks from Necromunda, the leader being converted
I hope to be posting a lot more in the next few weeks and look forward to having a good look through the thread.
Good to be back
June 10, 2018 at 8:16 am #1205641Not much this weekend – finished off a Locust for the Pan-O force I’m taking to a tournament today:

And started putting some metals & details down on Greigor Fell-hand, in the style of the 40k Space Wolves
June 10, 2018 at 10:21 am #1205707As promised a few weeks ago some scenery i made on old CD/DVD discs. They were bound for the bin so i thought i would try something out on them. They are themed around my Age of Sigmar Death force. Note I’ve been a gamer for 20+ years and its the first time I’ve tried something like this
The first one i entitled sword in the stone
