@dugthefug1644 the tanks came out well with especially nice weathering. As to the cannonball… steal from the best!

@blipvertus I think dwarfs defending beer barrels should get a bonus.

@whittman007 very evocative.  You and piers are bringing a new level of narrative to this forum.

I’ve been able to put a little more time in on my dwarf standard bearer and primed my second Berserker Lord on Brock (after the pictures).  The banner needs some clean up and the second side painted.  The Berserker needs a lot more than that.

I have been busy finishing off my warband, well two warbands for Burrows and Badgers for as I have a game, actually a campaign game, shortly. I have to say that I am chuffed with the results and cannot wait to paint some more of these lovely figures.

I love this Burrows and Badgers figure so much that I wanted to give her her own post. She is Minirara the Racoon and I wanted her to be as close to a native american dress without being too OTT above it. I think I have pull it off, what you you think?

Started a different wee mini project (hehe….. shite pun 😉 )  towards a giveaway at the end of the month. Some D’n’D minis from Otherworld miniatures. I ordered up 4 but they sent 5 so have set about painting them up. Loads more detail n background over on the project blog so wont natter on too much here.

Anyways……. have the first 3 of them completed:

I finished the statuesque minis, one of them you’ve already seen earlier. Meet Cpt. Spanner and his crew of SS Space Plu(n/m)(d/b)er:

I love their faces. As @144artist noticed earlier (thank you for the compliments) I pushed myself painting them. Women look sneaky on those sculpts but men are simply butt-ugly, they are uglier than Baldrick’s mother. It was real treat to paint them both as I tried to emphasize that. I highly recommend the set. They have so much character, that after painting them I’m deliberating on playing Core Space, as somehow they fit all I know about that world just fine.

The Drought is over. Back doing something creative after a 3 month burnout. Yay, finished painting 4 models.
