Goblins for Silver Bayonet. First play with contrast paint, pretty bad even for “tabletop” but a good learning experience.

Eons ago I got a boxed set of Dropzone Commander and tried to paint the UCM forces red, which was… A mistake. I only got a few vehicles in before the red paint not only clogged up my airbrush but ruined the nozzle as well. Recently, having picked up an army green airbrush paint for the Abominations in my Project, The Others, I’m trying to make them look like more conventional UCM forces, starting with the unpainted ones, like these.

RBJ miniatures just started their “28mm WOOD ELVES” KS, so I thought I’d give them a mention and post their “Squealers” miniatures. I posted some of these guys awhile back, but not all of them. The terrain is Archon’s “Dungeons and Lasers : Torture Chamber” room set. The hat blocks the witch’s face so I had to prop her up with a connector from the D&L set. I think the skull is from Tiny Furniture, and I’m procrastinating on giving the frog a swamp base.
