Starting to put some terrain bits together for an abandoned desert village in 28mm, some resin pieces and some scratch building.

Cleaned up the castings and stuck them to some bases.

The first bit of scratch building, this is a test piece to get an idea for techniques and materials
October 14, 2018 at 6:07 pm #1286378I’ve been painting some Malifaux stuff recently. I’ve only had my Hoffman crew since 2012, so I figured it was about time!
I’ve managed a repaint of a Guild Austringer (painting over the other paintjob):
,A Brutal Effigy:
,And the man himself Charles
XavierHoffman:
I’m not a great painter by any stretch, but I’m quite happy with them all!

October 14, 2018 at 10:25 pm #1286515First time posting on this thread. Love looking through what you are all up to so thought I’d add this Beastlord I played around with yesterday. Always loved the model and finally picked it up to give myself a break from my Napoleonic Project. Just got a decent compressor so it was the first time I have tried to use an airbrush for some detailed work. Even tried a bit of wet blending. Happy with the result. Only problem now is I really fancy painting a Ghorgon…

October 15, 2018 at 5:38 am #1286589Edit: forgot to post the finished rebels!

October 15, 2018 at 1:29 pm #1286874First post here love the project page option too. However doing my third commission piece on Boba Fett for Legion. And my second set of scatter cd terrain. For two pieces put on some gloss to see how it works to make some mud bog type of look

October 15, 2018 at 3:36 pm #1286968I painted some Vampires for Dropzone Commander on Saturday while waiting for paint to dry on my Orks.

I finished 13 more Ork Boyz too:

I also started work on the last of the Orks:

Just vehicles and the Shokk Attack cannon left after this. I’ll update my project soon.
October 15, 2018 at 6:41 pm #1287090SWM has a sale on the Scrapyard base from the 15th to the 25th, so I figured I’d paint mine, which actually came from the SWM Bag-o-Crap (one pound of resin rejects for $40). The Mantic orcling is part of an orc army Kings of War set, and was painted with the Army Painter Greenskins set. I used Army Painter’s Dry Rust effect paint and SWM Orange wash for the rust.

@beaudouro
Love that beastman…man. Been thinking about getting into the bray with the new codex and this is how I dreamed they would look like. The different browns work great together with the red spots. Really well made.@sue and Piers
