I’m here for some PanO goodness.
Long live the Hyperpower! 😉
Absolutely loving Infinity week here on Beastsofwar.com! Needless to say, after watching the videos and reading through the quick start rules, I’m completely sold on Infinity and can’t wait to start playing! Now just to decide which army…
Thanks for all the hard work on Infinity Week guys! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
I know right, the guys on beasts of war did a great job on the whole infinity week and now me and my friend go down and play with the infinity group( model representing) our armies. I can’t stop playing
I’m new to Infinity, finding it hard to get my head around all the rules. But loving it, brilliant game and the minis are best anywhere. Looking forward to more Sectorial Armies in the future.
Infinity is quite genius_ Truly ground breaking rule-sets, Intriguing concepts and background work, and absolutely gorgeous sculpts. You can really tell these guys do there homework. As far as the Game – I really really like the subtleties of the game play and the army building. (not to mention the variety) There are very few games on the market that give such a riveting experience of play! On a side note: Thank You Corvus and BoW for putting this together, it really helps to bring everything into perspective 🙂
Loving the infinity week so far. Like seeing differnt gaming systems
I’d love to get a shot at this. Go go Ariadna!
seems like a great oppurtunity to get my hands on a new game 🙂
Really liking Infinity so far. I’ve never played a Wargame like it!
Big thankyou to Beasts of War for the quick start rules, a very good introduction to the game.
I can’t wait to see more Infinity videos this week.
Zomg cant wait! I really wanted to try a new game other that GW ones!!!
Love the system very fast and effective. Keeps both players involved through out either turn can’t wait to test out for myself.
For me its gonna be Aleph all the way robots and androids kicking butt with big guns and stealthy stuff whats not to love xD
After picking this game up a few months ago, haven’t stopped playing since….
Infinity looks great the rules to do with reactions if a model moves through your firing line can add great tatctial and intesting deployment options for defending.
looks like an interresting game…but i am mor interrested in the nice models to paint them 😉
A very “shooty” game , just what i have been looking for!
if you win can I have the rule book then?
Please!!
😉
Yeah well that’s what first caught my eye, then I too a peek at the rules and they look real good! So I’ll have to get me some o that!
It sure looks cool and the models look great. I’d love to try it!
Fantastic looking game. I’ve been looking for a cool sci-fi skirmish game to get into.
Very interesting game so far. still waiting for the yu jing video. would be great to play wtih my mates.
Ninth!
N’aw, I wouldn’t. Infinity does look a great game, but ah well. Too many things going on at once to try to find time to convince a friend to start.
it’s a fresh breath of air in the war gaming scene it’s awesome that both players always have something to do and it adds a whole new level of strategy to the table top gaming and i really hope this game does well!
cool i love the nomads . when will u be playing them andy . u may win the game .
Glad to see this great game get a higher profile, as it deserves.
This looks like an amazing game. Hopefully I can get my 40k buds to give it a try as well
I have been trying to get my club to play this some more. Glad this week has been Infinity week on Beasts of War. I hope I can push this great game again.
well its a good game and its nice to see something different other than warhammer that’s all I’ve got to say
First of all thanks for the “Infinity BoW Week”. It made me take a second look at the game. I allways was fascinated by the really superb sculpts of it, but beeing a GW Fanatic i was a bit shy looking over the table edge into new systems.
Your Infinity week opened my eyes to whats out there, as it did to a few of my mates from the gaming circle. Seeing your “Demo” game, the talks with the friendly chaps that made the system and your other videos, made me want to try out the game. After a few games with your quickstart rules, we allready now will have our own little friendly tournement this weekend.
Only with PDFs and proxy Mins, but that will change soon. Thanks again BoW for showing me and also others what really nice sci fi systems are out there. Sometimes you just have to take another look to find something interesting, and you helped with that.
I’m leaving a comment, but please exlcude me from the prize draw!!! Give the stuff to a none Infinity player, I’ve got more than enough Infinity mini’s… spread the love.
Just want to say a BIG thank you for raising the profile of my favourite game system EVER. Its really appreciated genuinely by the Infinity community and me personally. Keep it up, and people please, please give the game a go you won’t be disappointed I’ve been gaming for 26 years and Infinity tops all that I’ve played in that period. Thank you BoW.
I was looking at Infinity for quite some time now. Maybe I’ll win something and start playing this game 😀
Hey guys please enter me. I have terrible luck so put some extra mojo on it for me. Thanks and keep up the good work. It’s cool to see new and lesser know systems given the spotlight.
I had heard about infinity before, but never really took the time to look into it in detail. Now I’m trying to sweet talk some mates into getting into it with me. Nomads look like a good army
If you’re anywhere near the West Midlands in the UK just give me a shout, there’s a few of us who’ll happily run you through it and give you some games.
Going great. Hope to see a larger game with the full rules soon.
I love this game. It is something completely different from anything else that is out there.
Hey, been loving infinity week so far! Would love to see some Nomad or Yu Jing minis!
Its a game that I allways wanted to play with my brother. Since my brother is handicapped and I love painting and he loves to play we could benefit from this allot. I would build it and paint it and we then would play it together. Since we live in Puerto Rico and basically no1 in this island plays any wargame (I think) I would love this. We have played a few wargame together but never this one, so thats why I would like to win, and what do I thing of the game? Love it, simple at first glance XD! But its something new and exiting, and cant go wrong with GUNZ!!!!!!
Really enjoyed the coverage of Infinity this week, has really cleared up the rules and made them simple to understand.
IF “first” is not allowed, if 24th? lol No, really though, I would love this prize, as would any semi-sane gamer. I would like nothing more than to start playing this game.
Damn, took to long, I must change me answer to 32nd.
Thanks Beasts Of War for a great coverage on Infinity! Truth be told I never even heard of the game in Canada prior to Infinity Week. Your ‘focus for new gamers’ approach made it easy for me to understand the game’s background and rules and it’s enough to get me hooked!
Great coverage so far guys! Really liked the demo game between “Not-so Handy Andy” & “Lucky Lloyd”! Love these “themed weeks”. Really great stuff. Thanks for all the hard work lads! *Thumbs up*
Infinity is a game that I would like to play and Haqqislam is the army I want to run with!
The game system and the minis are a win/win. 🙂
infinity as a whole seems like the type of game i would love to pick up,me and a friend that is.hopefully (fingers cross) 🙂
Love Infinity and would like to get these so I can give them to Friends to hook them in more! One friend really wants to play, but is unemployed! This will make a great gift!
I want to try this game with my brother Monly, the only guy who plays with me (I’m wheelchair bound and the only Local gameshop here isn’t wheelchair accessible & carries only TCGs, no wargames). Winning this would be great.
Looks like a very dynamic game that could very well give 40K a run for it’s money.
Having recently become unemployed, winning would be a great way to get started in a new game.
¡Hola!
I must make corvusbelli a big compliment for the fantastic infinity miniatures. They are so nice sculpted in am realistic style with a lot of dynamic. Mostly i like the Samurai Figures. Haven’t played the game yet, but have shortly ordered the big Aleph Starter-box for -50%. 🙂
Recognized corvusbelli from Warcrow an the 15mm ancient range. Can we hope sometimes for new stuff on this ranges. Maybe a Warcrow-Game?
Hope this company will last for ever in the TT world.
I did buy some minis before this series, but your clips explained the (simple) mechanics very well, and they also got me to browse the infinity website again. so now my creditcard is smoking…
I’d love to have a crack at infinity – the PanOceania would be my fav, very Appleseed…
Love the game mechanic of orders and the fact it can be played in 30-60 mins. Not looking to replace my big wargames, but they just don’t work for small skirmish, short games.
Thanks BoW
Ariadna always is more enterteining
It is a rapid and dynamic game, to which it is possible to extract him very much divided
Good work Corvus
Thanks for the information this week on a game that is gaining ground here fast. Pity I am too poor at the moment to buy into another system…;***(
Absolutely loving Infinity week here on Beastsofwar.com! Needless to say, after watching the videos and reading through the quick start rules, I’m completely sold on Infinity and can’t wait to start playing! Now just to decide which army…
Thanks for all the hard work on Infinity Week guys! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
Thanks again to the whole BOW crew for the extensive coverage and the guests, for giving an insider’s view of the game. Authors tkaing time to approach the community shows how strongly they stand behind their product.
Hey guys! I’m a long time wargamer, used to be really into warhammer and recently got into warmachine/hordes (thanks in no small part to Andy and his great unboxing videos), and you have really turned me on to infinity. The minis are just gorgeous, and from what I’ve seen in the quick start rules you have provided, along with the full free rule set, it looks incredible. Range Bands! I love range bands!
I am really looking forward to getting into the game with a couple of buddies in the area, and hopefully the d20 based system, along with such an in depth rule set will sway a few of the local RPGers over to the side miniature gaming.
Keep up the awesome videos guys, I am really excited about getting into Infinity, and equally excited to see how it develops over the coming years. Especially the Aleph, I love those guys!
-Adam
hey hey will try the game and if i like it i can play it, if not make some awesome conversions!
From what i have seen Infinity seems to incorporate what so many games have failed to do, and thats exciting ranged combat, it seems more immersive than both GW games or even Privateer. And those models look gorgeous as well! NOMADS FTW!
A minatures game with D20’s and Ninjas? I think they’re on to something I want to be a part of!
it looks like a really fun game, i have been trying to get my friend to play 40k but he doesn’t want to paint all those models. i might try showing this to him since it seems really nice and quite easy to start with.
Me and a friend? I want all of these starters, they are all just so awesome!! really a heir to R’s position as the best miniature game company in the world!
Gratitude to you for bringing us Infinity.
Well guys, I enjoyed Orks and Goblins week, but seriously the quality of the videos and your events gets better and better. The videos have been a truely inovative way of demonstrating what looks to be a truely inovative system.
Really looking forward to the learning more about the Nomands, can’t decide between them or Haqqislam (love the progressive nature of there background, a nice refreshing and intellegent (the boys at CB have done there History) change)
Anyway keep up the excellent work.
I love the Infinity week, it´s nice that you are giving other game systems a chance to shine.
It looks like a promising game, I like the gunfighting heavy ruleset however I’m a little iffy over the anime style. All in all seems like a game worth trying though, as we all know you can’t have too many miniatures and you can’t have too much sci-fi.
Hi love the infinity models first game to have some nice looking girls in!
And also like the gaming system.
Enjoying the infinity week, great content as usual
I think Infinity is a great games and it makes a lot of fun. Played it for two years.
I hope you will do another Battlereport (maybe with more then 250 points) as the Infinity Week progresses.
Is an interesting game, nice to see more non-GW stuff about, would be nice not to have to fork out for it 😀
I have to say that before this week all I knew about Infinity was how nice the models are (one of my fellow club members uses them for Necromunda), but after seeing the videos so far this week, I’m very Interested in trying the game out now. Very interested in playing games which promote a different way of thinking (40k does seem to be becoming a game of point and roll with some gamers unfortunately).
I will definitely be looking at picking up Infinity stuff in the near future and try promoting it among fellow club members.
Regards from Norway!
I must say that Infinity has some great looking minitures, and for me that alone is enough to start playing. Thanks for doing this BoW, its nice to see some games other than ones form GW gets some face time.
I love this week! i have looked at infinity alot but havent had the time to look at the rules! så for me this was an eyeopner! and im gonna try to get my friend to try this out (maby whit GW mini first)
hope to see other games in the futur
/Lars
What a success this week is ! Excellent job on this one, everyone…
Don’t mark me up for the contest, though, I already have Infinity minis… And this is a tough enough system to warrant me buying it in french if I want to play.
really like the look of this game and the models look great, especially the haqqislam hassassin snipers. thanks BoW for the great vids, keep up the good work
i think as you said infinity is the best war game i have ever seen i would love to win this wonderful contest as i only play war 40k i would love yo start infinity
The demo-games and rule overviews were great! I hope you’ll do the same with other games.
-Greg A-M
So stoked to see you guys do an Infinity week. Great to see the creators as well!
I hope to run some demos next month as many of our 40k players are looking for something new, and this will be a perfect match (great looking minis, fluid rules, and low $$ to get started!)
From the videos so far; what fascinates me the most about infinity is the miniatures & the fact that both of the players can act on each others turns. Haven’t played it yet, but I’ll hope that my comment will help with that. : D
First off I wish to thank you and the team behind Infinity for such good coverage of the game. Im new to this game but followed your videos from the start, it helped a poor goof like me to really jump into it. Thanks again BOW
im from germany and at first, ill have to apologize for my super bad english.
but thats not what i acctually wanted to say.
i saw some of the minis a couple of months ago i our local gaming store. i was curious about the minis and about the game, but i couldnt get myself to buy some stuff and try it out. (as a student you dont have so much money to spend on “just to try out” ^^ ) but i was glad that you guys made a infinity week, because now im honestly thinking about to start the game. this concept, 2 players beeing active at each turn and the factions and oportunities you have, is just great.
thanks for sharing this game with us!!!!
bradur
Great looking models and a very interesting game that I’m keen to try out.
Loving infinity, loving infinity week. Looking forward to my free starter stets 😛
I like the look of the game, and the haqqislam faction look like fun and the yu jing look good too. The rules look easy and I love the idea to use D20’s.
I love the look and mechanics of this game. I’ve been looking for a skirmish game. And I think I’ve found it. I love the fact that you have a number of different options as to what you can do on your turn. And most of all I like the fact that you still get to play on the other players turn. Plus the mechanics are quite different from anything I have ever played. I particularly get a kick out of the fact that a face to face roll isn’t just who can roll the highest but is how can get closest to there target number.
FLUFF AND JAGGED ALLIANCE 2 !
When i first heard of infinity and saw those kind-of-manga style minis i honestly didn`t like them…But two things kept my interest of the game and even made me turn my head around 180° about the minis. I like the moral aspekts of the story and the critics of todays world. I like the fluff because i like the models of the game designers conserning politics. not alway do writers it right and politics seem to be like they are on one planet. Thats different on infinity aand that i like.
THe second thing is -of course- the interaction and the fact that this is the first time i can react directly to my oponents moves its almost as if you would act chronologically closer to each other.
My first association is with a pretty cool but not very popular PC game JAGGED ALLIANCE 2 (can`t remember if there where a reaction in the first game) . Its awsome it combines rpg elements with turnbased strategie and uses action points. if you dont spend them you can use them like the reactions in Infinity. thats so cool i wish they would do a combined game with their mechanics but with the campainge idea of necromunda or mordheim.
BOW thanks for this week its so full of content its great. hope you will keep that up and bring strategic tips in your tips vids.
also i would suggest that you have a look over paper terrain (f you havent already) its great for its price and i like the designs because they fit into the infinity world!
have a great day.
Fabian
Loving BoW coverage if this game, the system is so nicely tuned, it makes for a thrilling and tactical game, something good for those times when you want a good old meeting of minds with a friend. I cannot wait to get deeper into the game as we continue to find our way in infinity. Thanks BoW for bringing this great game to my attention. A big thumbs up from me.
Seems like a more grown up version of 40k. I’m really going to try converting some 40k miniatures for this game and if it’s as fun and “realistic” as it looks, well then I can finally start playing tabletop games on my 4*4 board at home again and without having to spend ages setting up minis the spouse and kids might even let me do it more than a few times a year.
Have BoW really “found” a game that takes less time, space and money to play than 40k but is more fun?
I love the variety of gear and weapons in Infinity, its cool to have assault rifles and hi-tech wonder weapons in the same game without you felling like your going to get plastered just because your faction doesnt use the sci-fi ray guns.
The models are Pretty ^-^ if not a bit pricey.
This whole “evolution of wargaming” thing got me wind up. I’m a hardcore WH40k player and can’t imagine how a system that enables one cookie cutter unit to take down most of enemies army be a progress. On the other hand there are no infinity players whatsoever in my home city (roughly a million inhabitants). It seems that the only way to find out “what makes it tick” is to start playing the darn thing 😉
As a games designer I’ve always wanted to create my own skirmish miniature game but it’s a daunting prospect given the awesome rule set and miniatures Infinity offers.
Thanks Corvus Belli for creating a fantastic universe and a brilliant game.
First off, should I win the starters are going to non-players that I know or as a prize in a tourney since I already play Nomads:)
Infinity to me fills that void in Warhammer 40k that I have always hated. A squad walks around a corner and assaults you while you stand there like an idiot rather then shooting at him as he passes the corner. In infinity that rubbish gets balanced out with the beauty that is AROs, so if Mr cyber ninja wants to eat me in close combat he is going to have to duck and dodge through cover as I attempt to turn him into kibble.
When playing a game if Infinity you are constantly engaged on what is going on and trying to stay a step ahead of your opponent. There is nothing like that heartbeat anticipation as you get an ARO to try and stop that big nasty from making a push through your line, cheering as you win a face to face roll and gun him down at the last minute.
Thanks you CB for making such a push this week in marketing, and we hope to hear and see more in the weeks to come 🙂
– BlueDagger
I am new here and I am really enjoying the videos. I like this game! I hope I win 🙂
Andy is against “FIRST!!111!1!11!”-comments… <3 <3 <3
I'm playing 40k and have never felt the urge to start another game, even after watching respective introductions on Youtube. But Infinity seems very interesting.
I think the possibilities for this game are… infinite. 😀 😉
Ten years of Warhammer & Specialist Games. Three years of Warmachine & Horde. Three years of Flames of War.
I can still remember my enthusiasm when i started every game listed above, but now Infinity… It’s like a lightning bolt.
At my local gaming store, here in Finland. 99% of the gamers have gone mad, well in a good way of Infinity. Cause you guys at Beasts of War (and with little help from Corvus Belli) have helped the “common” gamer to understand that there are loads and loads of Super cool games.
We, here at the cold north are grateful for your contribution to wargaming. Thank you.
Best wishes for the oncoming years.
Yu Jing the way of Bushido is a calling.
PS.
Charging dice with laser works, every time.
Hey all! Long time reader first time poster, my mates have been trying to get me into the game for a while and the whole lack of a job bit kinda 86ed that, the. They told me about this ^_^. Nice of you all to hold such a thing to promote a young and upandcomming game, hope this durums up a lot of business/traffic for you ^_^
amazing, i love how you have to constantly be checking line of sight etc. its much more involving than any other wargame ive played and id love to give it a go
I would love a chance to try infinity out with some of those beautiful models. The game seems tactical enough to suit my tastes with reactions the versatility of orders. I might have to improvise some sci-fi terrain from my fantasy/steampunk terrain but I would make it happen if I won.
I also think Infinity week has been BoW’s best theme week by far. It’s given me more information than I can even digest in this short time. I’ll definitely be catching up on the Infinity videos next week.
I’m loving all the fluff and background that goes with the game. The game looks interesting to play and a little different to all the other game systems out there 😀
I hadn’t heard of this game system until last week. I must say that I have been most impressed by it. I plan to try out the quick start rules this weekend with a buddy if I can get some terrain together in time. So far I have enjoyed the Haqqislam factions background the most. Though the concept of bringing back famous dead figures is very intriguing. Thanks for all the work you guys do for the community.
Infinity week is AMAZING!
I’ve watched all of the videos and I am loving it. The game looks nice and dynamic. The minis you’ve shown are fantastic. However what I am enjoying the most is all the background. Its so nice that althogh its Si-Fi it all backs up in the present days.
I think this game is really interesting. I watched all vids so far, but i’m not sure which faction i would choose. But then there are still some factions missing i think, so maybe “my” faction has not been introduced yet. 😉
I wanted to say thank you to Beasts of War for such a coverage of the infinity game. These lovely mini definitely deserve to be known!! I would love to get my brush on some of these minis, they look very interesting to paint with heaps of details. The game looks like lots of fun too. The Aleph reminds me of the robotic race in Mass Effect (that’s a compliment, Mass effect is really a great game with a rich background and great design).
VIVE INFINITY!
Another great week guys, really liking the themed weeks and focus on a particular system or topic. Having watched some of the videos, still a couple to go, it is something I would give a try. Had some of the magazines given out at last years salute and looked good then but like others struggles with some of the detail. However quick start rules a fantastic approach and has certainly made it more accessible. A friend has similar house rules for some customised elements of 40k regarding actions using something called “overwatch” which apparently was in the rules before. Great week guys so far have really enjoyed it.
Pete
I’m really digging the rules for Infinity and BoW putting the spotlight on one of the smaller games. I really want to play but don’t have the money to start another system right now. Hopefully winning a box could change all that.
Infinity looks great. The ARO mechanic looks really nice, and manages to keep you involved even on your opponents turn. Also breaking from the D6 is a breath of fresh air in my opinion as the greater range of stat values increases the differences between basic infantry, elite, and special characters.
You certainly got a lot of comments on this video! 😛
Firstly well done on some great coverage so far this week. The videos are as entertainig as they are informative.
Secondly Pick Me!! I think the starter packs would be a great way to demo the game and encourage new players who are showing an interest in the game as a result of your videos.
Looking forward to the rest of the week now.
A really interesting week guys. It’s good to see other games other than GW ones.
This looks like a quality game with some decent fluff behind it.
The rules seem to create a sense of reality to the games
Keep up the good work
I’m really gonna start this game, BOW you are great for explaining the rules so clearly and giving us a simplified rulebook for a beginner like me. I’d love to play Yu Jing when I get started with my friends.
I think the explanation of the rules by the guys at BoW is what draws you into the game…they show the simplicity in everything. Simplicity I didnt know even existed!!
Indeed, very much so. I wouldn’t have bothered a few months ago until I saw these vids.
Mad respect to Corvus Belli for the Haqqislam faction. Awesome backstory and some really cool sculpts.
Cant argue with this…the backstory and sculpts are what draws me into the game. Now BoW have introduced me into the games rules and have shown have simple it can be!!
To be honest I really didnt think much of the game before this week. I was put off by the difficult and complicated rules but I seemed to keep getting drawn back by the beauty of the models. After downloading the Quick Start rules and trying out a few lil games I have really fallen for the game. It reminds me of a Necromunda/ Kill team game which really appeals to me.. Thanks BOW, youve introduced me to so many new gaming systems 🙂 Now PanO or Haqqislam? Hmmmm
I have to say I’ve been impressed so far, mostly with the tactical depth there is to the game over what you get from something like 40K.
Some of the minis are stunning sculpts too it has to be said.
Well, I have come to BOW beacause of infinity instead of the other way around! So hello and I hope you like
This is such a great looking game. I’m a big fan of the animes Ghost in Shell and Appleseed and this game reminds me of them. I really like this skirmish style of this game. I think with games like 40k and Fantasy we sometimes just throw masses of troops at each other until only one side is left standing. With this game you really have to strategize and each individual figure brings it’s own unique abilities to be utilized. I can’t wait to round up some of my friends and give this game a try.
The models looking great, would love to give a skirmish game a go and it would be awesome to introduce to my local gaming club!
This looks perfect for the likes of me because I’m a really lazy painter, but I hate playing with unpainted models, so the small forces seem ideal. It looks to be fairly nuanced in terms of the tactics available aswell.
Ah Infinity models. If there’s one thing I love, it would be winning free stuff for the purpose of saving pennies. I think the Nomads look best.
The game does look quite interesting and not too long, unlike some of those 3+ hour long games that exist.
I’m not too fond of the names used or even the fluff involved but that could be the influence of being down the road from Nottingham, England. Where so many better wargame companies exist.
Nomads Nomads Nomads!
Excellent prize!! Ive been trying to get my local club into this game.
Infinity is a game with superb figures, a tight and interactive game system and an awesome sci fi background. With two packs I could demo the game and get more people playing this great game
Really wasn’t interested in the game, but after seeing all of the coverage this week, I’m really excited about trying it out.
sign me up.
Thanks for the prize draw, but thanks more for the Infinity Week! The features on the background were awesome -especially for one just thinking about dipping their toes into yet another game! Keep up the informative and useful vidcasts – they’re terrific.
Amazing art work, and only a handfull of miniatures are needed to play a game.
i want to win something, but will prob pick up a army deal before the end of the week
I think i’m falling in love with infinity because of you guys,
i love the look, the rules, the background..
I’m definitely going to pick some of it up!
The models look so sweet… just want to snuggle with ’em. Or at least paint them… Havn’t had time to watch all clips yet, there is just so many…
Damn you beasts of war, You too infinity dudes… How in the hell am i ment to save any money when you keep doing this insanity to me…>< also wtf u mean caledonians are cheap… we're not cheap we just money savy!
I’m starting to get more and more intrested in this game. Seems a lot more fluff oriented and dynamic than the other choices on the market. The models are awesome too, Haqquislam and Nomads are my personal favourites.
I would love to try this game, so far the only real table top game I’ve played is Warhammer 40k. It would be awesome to switch up with another game! Also thank you to those at Beasts of War for getting me into the table top hobby!
Never been as excited as when i first started doing 40k for a sci-fi game.
Here’s to a long and successful life to this amazing set of rules and minis!
Really good game with amazing miniatures!
Watching the videos so far, this is a much smaller tactical game than 40k but it’s differences are what make it enough to have a really good look at it. Great videos so far boys, keep it up.
Infinity, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee rules and models and tactics.
I love thee to the level of everyday’s
Most quiet need, by sun and fluorescent-light.
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I shall but love thee better with the full rules and official models.
So glad BOW took care of this great game. I think much more people should play it, and thanks to BOWs Infinity week, more people got in touch with it.
For me personal the highlight was to see and hear some of the creators of Infinity. Very sympathic guys.
Thats the power of BOW, thats our power as community. Spread word of this great game !
An Awesome small scale game that has amazing possibilities with brilliant models. a completely unique game that i can not wait to play.
I never really paid any attention to Infinity before you guys started with this week, the game will never catch on where I live unless someone introduces it. We dont really have a hobby store or anything like that here, no one sells infinity models at least.
Keep up the good work and that you for taking the time to do this for us.
The videos certainly have sold me on a game I already had a piqued interest in. The depth of background, the flexibility of the rule set and the future expandability have me sold on starting this game.
infinity looks great game and your coverage is making me want to play more and more (darn you)
I am really loving this week
i have gone from know next to nothing to know really starting to dig the hell out of this game of course only problem is getting the models and they are beautiful
i have fallen in love with the yu jing faction most specific the Japanese territorial army
anyway much love keep up the good work 😛
I definitely like the look of the game. It seems like a very easy to get into skirmish game with a great background that is very fun to play. I will for sure keep it on my list of things to try at some point in my life.
As with many of the people commenting, im new but like the look of infinity. before i looked at the quick start rules you guys made i got lost in the rule book. but think i will get in to this fun looking game
Looks like an awesome game and i really like the order system in infinity 🙂
Good work on these videos guys and a big thumbs up for the Quick Start Rules!
For a while now I have been admiring the models from this range, they are all just so beautiful. I really appreciate these videos because they have given me a good idea about how to play the game and I love it.
At first I felt a little turned off because of how complicated this game seems but after watching these videos and looking at the rules this game just seems like a blast to play. So I look forward to seeing more and hopefully getting into this awesome game.
Guys thank you for opening my eyes to the wider world of wargaming. Love the infinity week, the game seems to have so many layers of play as you look deeper. And there mini range is a breath of fresh air to me. Keep up the great work …. 🙂
BoW ROCKS!!!! 🙂
I’m from Scotland, I bet no one could guess what faction I would want to play. Thats right, the ones with ninja’s. Oh and the one with the Scotsmen obviously. 😀
This is too cool. I have been watching some UK blogs and twitter feeds and this game looks great! Might be the perfect opportunity to join in and help it spread in the US!
I’ve just started with Infinity and now making so much terrain, starting from walls, bunkers, bridges, and did i mention walls? So much walls… (aaaargh <.<). Would be motivating to win a price! =D
Great job guys on another excellant week of what I have come to know as “gamer TV”!. The models are a big draw here and the mechanic that allows reaction in the opponents turn is a huge counter to downtime during a game – the turns also seem quite fast = players getting to do more in a game and have more fun playing.
Plus, really big guns.
Love the fact Infinity runs on a D20 system, coming from a RPG background it is good to see something different than a D6. The D20 allows alot more variation as was mentioned in one of the videos.
Keep up the good work Beasts of war. Enjoyed Orc week, and now entertained with infinity week.
I’d love to start playing and painting infinity, the game looks like it’s well designed and thought out. The miniatures are superb.
By the looks and explanations done on the vids, the game looks like is very fluid and engaging. The use of the game cover system and ARO are refreshing.
I would love to win this, so I can introduce this game to my gameclub and at my local game store.
Thanks for service that you guys provide to the gaming community.
Infinity looks really good i like the idea of scot’s fighting in Space
It looks like I’m going to have to learn another game system. This game makes me yearn for my old Necromunda gang. Are there any rules for campaigns?
This game seems really fun! And the game Infinity itself, is EPIC!
I just love what you did with Infinity week. I was always tempted to buy one or two models of Infinity, just because they obviously do look great, but I guess without you guys I’d never have taken an actual look at the rules. From what I’ve seen so far they are brilliant and the game seems to be very much fun, so I very much appreciate taking me along on this journey.
Having mainstream covered (WH 40k & Fantasy) is cool. But getting to know the other stuff as well is just brilliant. After this week Infinity will no longer be “just another system” to me, and that’s just great. So, thanks guys!
Infinity is one of the bests games I’ve ever tried. Needless to say that the miniatures are incredibly awesome, they have a very fine detail, the background is extremelly elaborated and the company (Corvus Belli) cares a lot about what they sell and how they sell it: they don’t simply boost the latest releases in order to sell them, pro-painted art-box, new minis every month, free rules, markers, templates… on their website and official prices for almost every tournament… this is the game I ever dreamed!
As with most of the games you review, you put so much effort into making those videos that make the game look very interesting. In this case, I have been overviewing the quick start rules and the full rule set and I like the strategic component of the game, you don´t need a huge amount of minis nor a huge game table to have a fun time. Yesterday I gave it a try using proxy miniatures and we had a great time.
“There is no life beyond Infinity”
Dedicated to Bostria. XD
Selenio.
I have been in love with the models for a couple of years but hearing about the system, where it is tactical and you don’t have down time has drawn me along with the combination of discovering a mini community of players in Prague has tipped me over the edge into starting.
Thanks so much BoW for this awesome week of videos and info.
nice to see another system besiedes Warhammer Fantasy/40k and it actually affordable xD
it’s awesome to see a game that has great gameplay and such a low model count that you don’t have to spend a fortune just to play a small game
I’m gonna definitely giving it a try
Never even looked into the game until the Beasts of War videos. I’ve watched them all and can’t wait to get into Infinity!
really loving infinity week.
i’ve only ever been a player of GW games and have always been drawn to an army that allowed a lot of mini’s on my side of the table which has caused me to rule out skirmish based games, but the BOW coverage this week on infinity has completely changed my views. after having a read through the quick start rules and seen the superb quality of the miniature range i’m seriously looking forward to choosing an army and getting stuck in.
it’s nice to see an interesting ruleset that has the mini’s to back it up.
Great coverage of infinity!
The nuance of the rules and small number of models is just what i have been looking for. Also those models are very nice.
A really unique game system that is worth a closer look. It deserves that, truly. Though I fear due to the expense of the exclusively metal models, winning some starters here is the only way I foresee being able to play anytime soon…
The D20 is a really refreshing idea for me, almost as exciting as cards for Malifaux (only almost!)
Looking forward to seeing your painted minis for this, BoW guys. I’ll be curious whether the metals stay stuck together…hehe.
Infinity sounds awesome. Across the map shooting and AR sound like some of the greatest idea’s in wargameing. almost forgot, and go Ariadna!
I’ll enter.
Wow, 7 pages of comments…
Looking to get into this game, the minis are great and the watching the demo match was AWESOME!!!! Cheers…
Fantastic looking system, and a great intro series from the BoW and Corvus Belli guys! (as you’d expect!) Loving the models, the feel of the game and hoping to find more players after this fantastic week!
INFINITY STARTS TONIGHT!!
I loved this week of Infinity, thanks again guys. The game seems really interesting and easy to get into. The theme is great and the miniatures are awesome. I am really interested in it but I wouldn’t mind to try it first with my wife.
The wargame community also really needed another game to do some concurence to GW imo.
The game mechanics seem like a great change of pace from 40K and it would be great to actually get some infinity minis to play the game. My Marines have made great proxy models but there is talk of heresy spreading around.
Good luck to all in the contest.
Hi!
I really love the Infinity Minis! They are some of the best I’ve seen from such a small but growing company.
The rules are interesting and I like the way they keep both players involved in the game instead of the usual I-go You-go. I also like the many special rules as it gives each Faction a different play style and even that can be changed depending on the models you use.
Really glad to see Beast of War give Infinity a week of attention!
Hi All Great set of vids on this week especially the rule vids
I have a friend I know how wood love this game. From the manga art stile seen in the mini’s, to the fluff and history in all of the army’s, and the D20 mechanic found in Infinity. there is only one problem, he is not a war-gamer, hes never herd of Infinity. BUT, with your help, he and I brake in to this epic game, and enjoy for years to come.
Really fell in love with the models, I was about to purchase some warmachine starter pack for me and my budd but after seeing all this coverage on infinity i think it could be one of the best wargames out there I really hope you guys keep making more weeks like this one about a lot of other games.
I think it looks like a great game. I like to try new games and anything that can be played with only a few minis is much easier to try out than something like 40k where you need a lot of them.
Looks like something fresh and different to the other gaming systems. Your presentations gave me enough insight to made me want to try it out. Thanks for the introduction and keep up the good work. 🙂
A lot better than ‘second turn, sorry you lose’. Some of the best artwork (wow), miniatures (did the sculptor go blind making these!) and rules to come along. Great to see Infinity moving out of its niche and getting recognition.
Support your local Nomad mothership! Corregidor for me 🙂
I have been waiting for a long time for BoW to do an infinity week! I look every week to see if there any new models from infinity coming out this has been an awesome week so far I been coming home every day and jump on the computer to see what is going on. And this week of infinity has been great for rounding up my gaming friends and getting them in to infinity and they are all chomping at the bit to get rules and models as well as begging me to build a table to play on.
Not sure I’ve been this excited about a new game system for a very long time! Both the modeler and gamer in me is excited by the awesome models and in depth rule system
Gotta say guys that I am loving the coverage of Infinity so far. Its a game I had only heard aout in passing, but your videos have encouraged me to have a go with the quick start rules. You may be forcing (well twisting my arm slightly) to go pick up some of the models.
Much appreciated.
Great job on Infinity week! I was curiously interested in the game for some time now. After watching the videos and reading the posts, my wife and I are hopping aboard. I digging the fluff and the system.
Never really been into these skirmish type games before, but infinity sounds (and looks) really fun an interesting to play and the miniatures are b-e-a-utiful. I think, I actually like the infinity miniatures, especially the hassassin lasiqs, better than GW’s. never thought I’d say that.
*Disclaimer* I still love Black Templars
Loving Infinity Week, Loving Infinity, Keep on Truckin!
Infinity week has been really fun to watch looking forward to the next few days of it.
I love the whole style and background of Infinity. Being a total Sci-fi buff myself I have always wanted to play. I love the models, the background, the Races and the Art of Infinity. The style of play is just perfect and fun.
it looks like a good game, and i have thought about getting into it for a while, the minis look phenominal, but the amount of terrain needed to make an awesome infinity board is intimidating.
Infinity looks a nice change of style from my usual gaming of Warmachine. Been trying it out through the week with proxy models and enjoying it tremendously.
Love what you guys are doing for the gaming community out there. Love the infinity game and actually never heard of it before this week.
keep it up
Top notch videos for Infinity, a game I knew nothing about. You guys have sold me on both the fluff & the game system. I hope I win the drawing, since all I got were error messages from their website when I tried paying (I guess they don’t ant my US dollars)! 🙂
oops… I meant, “want my US dollars.” Now I want those gorgeous minis and a new “W” key for my keyboard!
i find that me and a couple of my friends are already into it not only because of the amazing looking minis but also because of the interesting rules as we are used to playing 40k which, let’s face it, isn’t all its cracked up to be.
Well,i was looking for a descent skirmish level game and chose this one of three reasons:
1st – every single mini is the best. Sculpting is IMO the best for wargaming among the others (yes, i’ve seen AT and Malifaux)
2nd – at first you’ll like PanO knights (i.e) and you’ll be really fond of the fluff and all the stuff they are about. But then you’ll realize, that any other faction is as cool the the first one you’ve chose! The minis are as cool as the first you’ve picked (or even better). And the style of play is more interesting. Variety of tactics (even inside each faction)
3rd – “fluff”, “background”, “reading”. It’s amazing. I like more “Earth history”-centered sci-fi, and read more than hundred novels (not really much @ my 26, but oh well) and the background section of the rules wich is really “heavy” thrills me and makes me feel sad, that sometime i will read it, and the joy of reading will pass. But atm i’ve read a couple of sections in FLGS and want more!=)
And if this haven’t made you wanna buy rulebooks and a starter with couple of blisters, then i’d be glad to have the prize and have an opportunity to play this great skirmish game.
Picked up and painted an Infinity starter some month ago… been chompin’ at the bit ever since to give it a go. I can’t wait to get my first game in. The models are amazing and the rules offer something totally new and unique the the world of Miniature Gaming. Way to go BoW and Corvus Belli!
Looks like a great, and brutal, skirmish game – perfect for a quick play (and seems like it might be interesting for multiple players at once).
A little torn between Ariadna, Haqqislam and PanOceania, though…
I’m really enjoying your infinity coverage. I’ve always liked the models just never wanted to devote the time to trying to figure out another system. With the starter rules and videos it has really made this much more penetrable. I like the idea of reacting to the other player (miss overwatch from the old 2nd ed WH!). Can’t wait to try a game or two with any of the gang I can drag into it.
An evil, evil thing this Infinity week… just when I thought I had enough game systems!
I’m a weak man…
beautiful minis, simply one of the best ruleset around, a huge variety of tactics yet simple to learn, long live Infinity !
I’m a Tau lover so this looks really tempting to me.
Come on luck comment no. 192.
Well I’m really excited by infinity so far, it’s story is really engaging. The CA look like my type of army so here’s hoping.
I’ve always wanted to try a skirmish game like this, it seems like a nice break from bigger battle games like 40k.
Infinity Week, the perfect system to cover with a week like this, i’ve been avoiding taking it up because of the steep learning curve, but now i’m trying to decide between nomads and haqqislam
Infinity will be the reason I got from lurking wargaming forums and sites for the better part of 8 years and get back into the hobby.
Thanks to Corvus Belli for making such an awesome, intricate, and beautiful game.
Thanks to Beasts of War for maintaining such an awesome online presence both on YouTube and their own site.
Also, motorized unicycles. That is all.
I started playing Infinity in the time where there were only the quickstart rules and the updates on there website. I started with Haqqislam becuase of the chickenbots they have, I really love them, the next month the first pictures of the szalamandra came ( at that point only the artwork) and I just thought oh man just the moment you think you have the perfect faction for yourself and than they get a new one with cool miniatures out. The pure awesomness of their miniaturrange is a cruel thing for a slow painter like me. Actually there is no faction from Infinity I would not start buying if I would only have some kind of paintslaves in the cellar ;).
Another thing I love about Infinity is that I can play with old miniatures, from the corebook, against a complete new army and will still be able to have a fun game, because the system works just perfekt. You can do with your miniatures so many things I always wanted to be able to do – what you attack my guards with a close combat troup and I am not able to shoot? please explain me why they are not able to shot ?.
One simple Ghulamist is able to defeat High point models, his chances are low but he is still able to make damage unlike snotlings versus a cybot. I still remember how my muttawiha disabled a aquila guard- through a wall :). The games make so much fun I very had fun to make a battlereport after the game.
When you think you stand on lost ground, it is not unlikley you are able to win the game.
gartz.. whish there would be a edit or preview function ;( – so many mistakes
I have looking at Infinity for some time now. I just did not know just how cool the game was. It really dose look like a good game. The background they have writen looks cool to. It would be nice to see a ful BatRep.
Blimey this is a great prize. I have a couple of the Pan minis, but never played the game. Something myself and boy have looked at. Big thanks to BOW and Corvus Belli. Love these week features you guys do.
Infinity week is awesome! I love that you guys are showcasing an awesome game! I suggested the site to some of my pals who are now looking into infinity as well. Amazing job! The faction videos are great and its really cool to see you guys interview the brilliant minds behind the infinity universe.. I am just learning to play infinity and i know my gaming group will love it once they get a chance to play. Great job Beasts of War. And thanks Corvus Belli for making a kick-ass game!
hi all Saw this game during your infinity week very cool looking game. I will try to convert the peeps to this game. I like the rules and d20 is a interesting concept. Thanks for all you do Beasts of war.
SSgt Meeker
I love the theme of this game so what the hey i will enter
The gaming group here in Japan would love to check this game out. Thanks for the contest BoW!
After seeing several of the vids provided, Infinity stands out as one of those games that break from the norm. The rules seem tough to understand at first but maybe because I’ve been playing similar game styles all too long. The mechanics are unique and innovative but not complex as it plays out fast and brutal. I really love the miniatures. I mean, what’s not to like? ninjas, mechs, hackers, aliens, and big guns… yes please!!!
Noone plays Infinity at our local hobby club, but my bro and I’ve been interested in this game since the first time we were introduced to it. Although we both loved only one fraction (udjin), we were fascinated by the whole Infinity’s universe. We would be really happy to get this gift from you.
This infinity week has been amazing. I have been watching this game with high enthusiasm for quite some time and anxiously awaiting opportunities to introduce it to my local game shop.
The games mechanic and setting are jewels among all that is offered in the current gaming world. Unfortunately due to my remote location, the game is hard to come by at a decent price, and i would love to establish a beachhead for this game. Good news is my gameshop’s supplier just started carrying Infinity so it will be more available.
I’ve talked with several friends who are all anxious to demo the game with me and get this going here. We need a new wargame to sink our teeth into. If i win the prize, i will keep one of the box sets and give the other to my very good friend who is about as excited as i am.
So on behalf of all us tabletop gamers in middle-of-nowhere Idaho, USA, we say “Infinity Forever!”
I have been completely blown away by this game… the quality of minis, the artwork, the fluff and the rule mechanics are all first rate. I am totally investing in this game! (and badgering my friends until they invest too!)
the thing i really like about infinity is it a more ‘realistic’ game, and by that i mean cover seems very important not ‘ im going to charge you guns blazing’ seems like it has alot of cool tactics/rules.
No one plays Infinity at our local hobby club, but my bro and I’ve been interested in this game since the first time we were introduced to it. Although we both loved only one fraction (Yu Jing), we were fascinated by the whole Infinity’s universe. We would be really happy to get this gift from you. 🙂
Until I play the game I can’t comment on the rules and such but there are a lot of things that do interest and intrigue me. But what I like most are the beautiful minis. They are absolutely gorgeous!
Great game, great mini’s but I wish they weren’t so expensive!
Wow, havnt seen so many comments on a video haha. Yeah, iv been pushing this at my local club, couple of guys have some models already but havnt played yet. I also just bought my first d20’s 🙂
I hope they pick me…
I think this game is so cool and I wish I could play it with my buddies, all the same I suppose I should leave something worth while…
I know! Thank you BOW for doing all the awesome stuff you do. the giveaways and helpful tips you guys do are down right epic!
Just getting into Infinity thanks to you guys, really never had heard much about it until I joined your site and was hooked by the look of it from the start. This would be a great oppertunity for anyone and wish everyone good luck and congratulations to the winner in advanced.
Very Nice Guys i am on Board and loving this game
Would love to start infinity ! Just by watching your videos I found myself in love with the game!
After reading over the quickstart rules and seeing the beautiful models, I’d love to get started with this game.
Im freakin in love with the infinity models Haqqislam especially! really enjoyin the week ty BoW!
Does that mean something like;
To INFINITY and beyond will be excluded?
But seriously! Thanks BoW great game I can’t wait to get my mates into this game, I had not heard of it previously and it is just the non WH40k game we have been looking for! What would we do without you?
I’d been looking for an alternative to 40k and Infinity was actually on the top of my list. I even bought the first rule book just last week ><;. I'd been hoping for a game with a faster pace and a mechanic that made individual models more meaningful and maybe this is it, the BOW vids came along at just the right time for me and who knows, maybe the game will finally catch on.
Infinity looks super cool, and I don’t play any sci-fi games so I would love to be able to get into this game with one of my buddies.
Guys – Infinity week has been great. My wife was going to start a 40K army to play along side or against me with friends and this week and my sneaking online to watch infinity has sparked here interest in this a bit more than 40K… She like the bigger presence of female models (as do I)
Keep up the great work!
Cheers,
Jason
This game seems like an excellent skirmish game, can’t wait to get started!
I came in this week being a little skeptical cause I`m mostly a 40k only kinda guy but this game just sounds great. I`m gonna get my friends to try and do some trials with me but the rules and game play just sound great and unique. the story line looks fresh and interesting.
all in all looks like a great game.
You guys got me into war gaming and so far I love it. Im having a lot of fun with warmachine and look forward to giving Infinity a shot. Thanks guys for all the helpful information yall provide.
was abit sceptical at first as ive never really been introduced to wargames outside of GW productions but my mind was completely changed from the very first vid!!
Seems to be a class game and really suited to my hobby style (low mini count so good for spending time painting) and the minis are simply stunning!!
Very impressed all round!
The Aleph look awesome! Looking like I could supplement my war-gaming with Infinity.
BoW is really becoming something. I’ve walked by the boxes of minis for some time at my favorite store, but your sample battles and rule descriptions have made it so compelling that I went out and bought eight d20s just for this game. I’m going to proxy some fights this weekend to get a feel for the rules.
What I like about this game is that despite the fact that it’s roughly the same scale as some other popular, the fights seem a lot more intimate. I hope their future expansions do not dilute this immediacy in the name of more models sold.
Thanks for constantly producing interesting content. Covus Belli was smart to do this through you guys.
Heya there! If you’re in the Southern California area, I’ll be Demoing Infinity at Kingdom Con 2011 in San Diego. Love the minis of course and good job BoW.
Love infinity its a great game. Just got into it. I want to try and get a club set for my local group and grow the brand.
Rock on the evil ALEPH 😀 painted mine to look like decepticons 😛
reactive play and the amount of posible actions sounds terrific. I’m really liking panoceania
As many others have said, great week BOW! While I think it would still take a while to wrap my thick ahead around all the rules, Infinity does look like a great game. And the minis are top notch.
Really cool job with Infinity Week so far guys! I hadn’t heard of Beasts of War before now, and I think I’ll be watching a lot more! Also, good call with the new hosts Carlos and Gauthier, they are way more personable and good looking than the Welsh guys who were on before this week!
Its great to see Beasts of War covering Infinity. I have been a really big fan of the minis for a long time but only until recently has my gaming group even thought of playing it thanks to the quick start rules that you guys produced.
Thanks again and keep the great videos coming
i’m with nova3k in nowhereville, idaho
we used to game a lot more back when we were in college, but changing times, economic suckage, and stagnation of the few TT games our local shop carries have put us into a lull.
like he said, a shop near us just barely started carrying infinity products, and he won’t stop telling me about it. can’t speak for him, but im out of the TT habit and missing it terribly.
a little love for idahoans!!
I dunno if you guys ever played X-Com: UFO Defense, (I think it was called UFO:Enemy Unknown in the UK) but I love that game. I still have it installed on my PC. As soon as I saw the gameplay demo and realized this was a tabletop version of X-Com, I was sold. 😀
hi guys u guys rock! so far after watching your infinity videos i am lovin the game ;). infinity is kind of like warhammer 40k except for the general gameplay and the fluff… wait that means it is barely related at all. anyways u guys and infinty week rocks!!! p.s. plz make more on the table videos.
sorry i know this is random but i just wanna see if it works sorry guys XD
Perfect timing on this contest! Just getting started with Infinity, and looking forward to it!
I definitely need the Hassassin Bahram box. 🙂
I don’t think I ever would have given a thought to trying this game without seeing all the coverage. The models all look great and I’m a sucker for a cool scifi cyberpunky setting and an excuse to build some more dense city scape terrain. The Oniwaban model has kinda sold me on the Yu Jing. Keep the coverage coming, I want MOAR 😀
Loving the Infinity coverage so far, keep it up!
FIRST, I think the Infinity miniatures line is fantastic. It someting to offer who lie the look of modern weapons and fighting poses in the assault rifles and HMGs, aswell as something for those sci-fi lovers with TAGs and remotes/ lasers and all other kinds of stuff. The mechanics of the game are simple and very quick paced, especially with AROs. AROs allow Infinity to evoke a more tactical and choice driven tabletop game, which is what makes games like Warmachine and Hordes that I play such great games. I also find the background interesting and true to history, and its been made in a way that allows the traits and quirks of different societies in the fluff to convert to actual game mechanics very easily. Because of the great fluff, the AMAZING minis, and the engaging game, Infinity is now my top gaming desire!
It looks really intresting, but there seams to be some advanced rules for it. But maybe just that makes it even better 🙂 Would like to give this game a good try.
Wow
Is this a record amount of posts for a video
Shows that there is a little bit of interest generated by Infinity!
Can’t think why! lol
I would pray to the dice gods for to be chosen in the draw but they never listen to my supplications despite the burnt offerings of Tofu and libations of Dandelion and Burdock.
Whichever diety is in charge of BoW prize draws please heed my petition and grant my name be pulled out of the hat!
Haqqislam Oh thou beauteous minis I pray be mine!
And rule books and another starter set. oh what joy it would bring.
Infinity is a great looking game that has caught my interest with its cool models (tachikoma!).
very interesting game ca’t wait to try it out myself thanks for the coverage
I’ve absolutely loved infinity week so far, you guys have recruited a new fan. Going to finish up my Imperial guard army and hopefully get into some infinity. You guys are THE site to go to for up to date mini war-gaming, that don’t mind going in-depth. Thanks for the constant devotion to the site. Crossing my fingers.
Sweet, i remember a video review on this game where they said the cover looked great because 1. lots of guns 2. girl with green hair. =D Thumbs up for ethnic diversity in this game, got me some yu jing shaolin monks and ninjas but hoping to add some haqislam and alephs (cause who doesn’t like robots). Rock on!
I’m loving Infinity week, I’ve been wanting to get into this game, so give me some prizes BoW! 😛
It’s great to see games like Infinity on here instead of the usual ones.
Infinity, for someone who has never strayed outside a GW games system, looks a fantastic, fast paced and cinematic system to play. I was going to go and purchase some models straight away, but I might just hold off a second now…
I’ve really enjoyed the last two weeks of your coverage. InfiNity looks like a great game. A friend of mine has been trying to get me to play for months. I think he took home 1st place at our local Con. After seeing all this coverage I’m hooked.
Definately planning to pick up a rulebook and starter following the Infinity Week promotion (although winning em would be better eh :). Excellent work BoW. Had always seemed an interesting game with the aro system and d20 based mechanics, but the downloadable rulebook was a lot to get my head around. The quickstart rules have really sealed the deal and made it easier to come in at the shallow end of the pool rather the drowning in the deep end. Well done guys.
Corvus Belli should make a vietnam wargame with these rules… 🙂
to be honest i hadn’t really had much chance to look at infinity in the past. none of my local hobby shops arry it sad to say. however after watching it looks like infinity is pretty much the game i’ve been looking for. i am quite happy that you boys put in the effort to bring us these videos. thanks guys and i hope you’ll be bringing us more absolutely marvalous videos.
Hey Guys,
really enjoy Your Gaming-Weeks! Keep ’em coming.
I would really like to see one on Dystopian Wars.
Infinity looks stunning! I would also like to see a Playthrough with the full rules.
Cheers,
IjonTichy
PS: Thanks for the Prize-Draw!
I would really like to start this game. its looks like tons of fun
Been watching all the videos throughout Infinity Week, and you guys have been doing a great job, especially that demo game. If that’s a tester for future battle reports, consider me interested!
I gotta say I might end up picking picking this army up. Me and my friend play Warmachine, but I’ve always been a bit of a sci-fi kinda guy. Problem is he’s turned off 40k due to the sheer amount of models.
Infinity seems like the perfect compromise 😀
Been enjoying Infinity week so far, would like to see more stuff about the combined army, since they seem to be the more interesting army (at least for me).
Infinity looks like an awsome game, very complex but loads of fun at the same time. I don’t hope to win but I will enter anyways because this game looks just simply awsome. I mean you always have to keep on your toes even if it is not your turn, unlike other war games. The fluff is awsome to boot and the miniatures look fantastic as well.
I really like the basic system for this game, one of the gripes I had with GW games is the D6, it´s simply too small, with the mighty D20 you get a large span of possible outcomes and the gap between incompetent and competent characters is better represented.
All hail the mighty D20, it makes our games better! 😀
Thanks for all the vids. iv been looking at Infinity models for a long time (ever since i saw them on one of your on the tables, so long ago (last year sometime XD)) but never wanted 2 buy any due 2 the fact that the game was just 2 hard 2 get my head around. I think that Infinity has done the one major thing that bothered me in GW games, which was the range modifiers. True, i dont really get how they work, and im sure GW has some things like that, but i find the Combat in Infinity so much more believable. My friend and I have play a few small games, and it feels much more believable then say 40K.
i Think the game is great, and plan on buying and playing in the future, but the only problem is the huge learning curve. even with the help of your starters rules, i have already had 2 go 2 the forum for help, and will probably have 2 again. for the time being, i do NOT plan on getting any models, (although id love some free ones 😛 ) until i have gotten a better grasp of the rules. il just use 40K models or something for now
Love the tactcall part of the game and the idea of only needing a few models.
And as a bonus you use D20 dices that i love 😀
This wode be a great whay to get in to the game for me and a friend of mine.
Totally loving Infinity week here you guys are killing it. Totally sold me on this game. Its nice to see someone putting out a game that has good high quality miniatures and a Unique spin of a war-game. Keep on rocking!!!
I have never played infinity yet. And prior to your videoes I onlyknew it was askirmish game with awesome miniatures. I’m actually reallyinterested instarting a skirmish game but don’t have the cash to do so. I was considering this and Warhmachine/Hordes. Now you guys are might help me. So do what you have to do and randomly pick my post, please 😛
I’ve always loved the miniis for this game but everytime I have considered geting in to it something has stopped me from taking the plunge. I think maybe the rules were the main obsticle. Thanks to you guys that is no longer an issue.
Superb job on the quick start rules and all the vids. now the only barrier is trying to explain to the missus why I need Another mini game.
I love infinity so much. i think its very creative and more realitic than most rpgs/wargames
I have to admit when I first looked at infinity I did think it looked like a high tech version of necromunda but after this week I have now seen how much different this game is with a rich background and beautiful minis and from what I have seen a very unique game system thank you guys for opening my eyes
Always loved the minis, but the rules always seemed too complex to enjoy. Thanks to the recent Corvus Belli (and now the Beasts of War) videos, I can now fully understand the game!!
How about the prize gets sent over here, to yours truly, in the tropics, so that I can use them to spread the word amongst the growing gamer community here??? 😉
I have known Infinity before I knew BoW. But once I saw BoW in action, then I knew u guys had to do vids on it! Infinity is such an undervalued game that deserves far more attention it should have. This’ sleeping dragon’ game just simply gets you in the game! Small squad size action firefights in a sci-fi anime settins with Ninjas free running and Scotsman charging? BRING IT! Thanks to both Corvus Belli and BoW for doing this! A GREAT week for Infinity! Signing off from Maya! See ya! 😉
I’ve been looking at this game for quite some time now but was never really sure how it would play out. This game isn’t really big here in Sweden, in fact I haven’t even seen it played anywhere. But now you guys have really sold it to me and our gaming club. And what would be a better start then these prizes. And if it plays as good as i get the impression, we would gladly try to spread the word on the conventions we go to.
Been staring at infinity for what seems like an ………….., well you get the picture, would be a great opportunity to start the next project. The models are lush and the mix of mech and infantry is nice.
I’ve been playing miniatures for over 15 years, and Infinity is one of best miniatures games I’ve played during this time. Beautiful miniatures, great rules and wonderful universe!!!
I have always like the models but knew nothing about the game. Infinity week has really got me interested
Excellent comp to finish off Infinity Week 🙂
Looks like a decent game, haven’t tried it myself but would be nice to do so, nice to see something else then GW stuff.
Unique mechanics – U observe the enemies movement and when he steps from cover killllllllll.
Beautiful models – more chicks with guns than other systems.
Interesting and deep fluff.
After watching the demo battle, I’m liking how fast the game is there is no standing around for ten minutes well your opponent does his thing the ARO’s really keep things moving.
Fantastic looking game 🙂 I really like your videos.
I want to say my thanks!
I live in Belarus and our community is not so numerous as in other countrys of EU. With the help of BOW infinity week I could engage more people!!!
Hey guys, thanks to BoW and Corvus Belli for the contest. This is my second entry because I was so excited to see it earlier that I quickly put a response in from my iPhone at work. Now that I’ve gotten home and had the chance to watch some of the Infinity videos I hope you pick me!
I’ve kept my eye on Infinity for some time, knowing that they do have incredible artwork and miniatures. From what I’ve heard the background is unique and pretty cool.
I’d ask that you pick me because I live in a small town with one FLGS. No one is playing Infinity there (because they don’t carry the products). Because they’re a small store they are afraid to take risks and stock a game they’re not sure will sell. That’s why they only carry 40K and WFB. If you picked me I’d be able to take these two armies down the the store and try to get some others into the game too.
Keep up the good work, sorry for double comments here but I was pretty excited and just threw a comment up without explaining why I’d like to be chosen.
I’ve been playing wargames for 10 years (fantasy, sangre bowl, 40k … ) and this time no game managed to wear hair point such as Infinity.
The tension in the air, not your turn, every second of the game, enjoy the game constantly causing hours appear to minutes.
You really get to be more aware of the game at the turn of unlike yours, Infinity is the only game that has achieved this in my and i think it is one of the best wargames
This looks like a fantastic game, i’ve been looking for a sci-fi skirmish game for a while now.
I’m definitely starting this game. The local guys have been talking about doing new games to mix it up but no one wants to lay out the cash… so I was going to order some Army Deals from Corvus Belli since they have their BoW deal on this week. IF I won this to add to those I’d have enough to start a little league out here in Japan…. 😀
After watching a few of your Infinity videos, I’ve decided that yeah, I wouldn’t mind giving the game a go. I just got into Warhammer 40,000 6+ months ago, and have only really been playing it recently, but already I can see that Infinity addresses quite a few of the issues I have with 40k.
Anyhoo, if I win, score, I’m sure I’ll be able to talk at least one friend into trying it. If not.. I still might pick it up… just later, rather than sooner.
Great game, but remember it’s all about the mission….
well i like what i see the game is good, the minis are stunning andit looks better than the gothic crap from GW, go go infinity!!!!
Thank you very much for Intinity-week!
Always loved the miniatures, but the complex rules somhow scared me off. This should be fixed by now, time to start playing! 🙂
Infinity was a game that I had started looking at for a while, but I never could get my head around the rules. After watching a few of the vids here I started looking into it. Now (With a better grasp of it) I pan to start with a friend of mine, weather we win the two starter packs or not. 😛
I love the idea behind infinity, the rules are interesting and the models can easily rival GW’s especially “The Ariadna” with there scottich kilts ^^. Good work BoW keep it up.
Hope the international community grows bigger and bigger.
Maybe in the future we could have international tournaments!!!
Great week!!!!
I like the ide of having almost the same deapth as a pc strategy game in a tabletop verson.
bloody hell ! almost 300 comments !
thank you for your work BOW, infinity is a great game very strategic and fun as well.
minis are prety cool and well modeling, it’s a pleasure to paint and watch.
I hope BoW keep going to present this kind of new games (might be Eden week next time :p)
cya
Infinity is a great game, definitely my favourite tabletop. It deserves more attention and Infinity Week here at BoW is probably the best way to get it. I’m glad it will gain some more popularity. Keep up the good work guys.
I love the game, the rules make sense, work well and are really indepth allowing you to get some real tactical nitty-gritty going on and you needn’t spend a fortune on a playable force! Also despite the rules being quite “intense” they are pretty easy to pick up. Really looking forward to getting into this game again sometime soon.
Hi guys, I just wanted to say that you did great job with Infinity week. I’m from Belgrade, Serbia and we have small but persistent group of players here. I hope that after this week we will have some new faces in our group.
All the best.
Cheers.
Infinity week has been like a breath of fresh air for me… I had become very disheartened with the main gaming systems and recently fell in love with Infinity (initially due to the amazing models and subsequently the very deep rule system). For me this is the perfect system as it is quick to play and the cost of having different armies to experience different play styles is not prohibitive.
I am a sucker for the visuals and story behind a system (which is something that GW do very well) and Infinity has some of the best in the industry.
One downside for me has been that even though the cost of entry has been low the barrier to convincing people to give this a go is the fact that the rulebook does not lend itself to new players. They get blinded by the sheer amount of rules (albeit very cool rules) and just can’t get their heads round this…. but you guys have solved that problem by creating an accessible version that gets people interested enough to want to learn more for themselves. Corvus Belli should also be applauded for making the full rule book free to download as this again reduces the cost of entry for new players.
The videos this week have been great and sitting a few mates down to watch these really does break down the last lines of resistance against what is an absolutely fantastic game system.
Well done guys… you really have done a great job exposing people to Infinity.
I think the game looks really great, and the models are amazing looking, im not a great painter or anything but i would love to get my hands on those to see what i could do if i really try hard.
Hey BoW Ive been looking into infinity for a while but haven’t had the money! If I win maybe I can get some guys at the club to buy it also! Cheers!
Definitely one of the best skirmish games out there, and once you get used to dealing with the finicky models, the game is one of the best.
I would love a chance to win something as innovative and unique as this! Got a friend across the street who I think would love this game. It would be a great start into the Wargamming hobby for him.
Infinity is a game i’m relatively new at, but really enjoy, its a great, innovative game, featuring some of the best miniatures around. The coverage on BoW has been great so far, cant wait for the space ninjas to make an appearance. Yu Jing ftw!
Ive had my eye on Infinity for a while, but with Infinity week, ive been inspired to take the plunge!
Thanks for your awesome coverage.
Beasts of war rock!
Definitely feeling the urge to pick up infinity. Yu Jing is the one for me, loving the asian japanese bushido stuff, and they get freaking bikes, cool.
Looks like a really fantastic game. My gaming group is really interested and I can’t wait to order the army box. *drools over the epic rules*
I am liking the look of infinity. I like the realistic feel to the rule set, moving from cover to cover to get a good position to attack your enemies. Plus the models are awesome 😀
Really enjoying Infinity week so far, I haven’t played the game, I’ve tried Necromunda and I preferred 40k but the ruleset appears very balanced, despite first impressions of ‘omg you can give multiple orders to one model’ which actually isn’t tactically overpowered as it can be countered with ARO for example. Would like to win the models look amazing.
Infinity is one of the games I’ve been looking at for a while now.
A few things I like: highly dynamic looking miniatures.
Things I don’t like: Highly dynamic looking miniatures. 😛
They look great, but how is customization of them, does every x model always look the same or no? Things like that. Also, too many details make models look too fiddly for those with only average painting skills. So without having painted one myself, I don’t know where I stand there.
The rules seem great, but also, I don’t know how much I like the order system either. Innovative sure, highly cinematic, yes. Maybe not my style though, for anyone who’s ever played a Heavy Gear game, TAC or Blitz, or battetech, for the more gritty game styles (Or even FoW though I’m hardly experienced with that.). ARO seems cool though. D20s meh.
Either way, it’s something I’ve been looking at. I’m glad to see BoW expanding their view a bit more, which is great. The wider the community supported, the better, as long as it stays healthy 🙂
I wasn’t sure about the mechanics until you guys played the demo game, now I think its great! Just need to rope the friends into a game now!
infinity is a great game with a complex, but simple set of rules and a great fluff, looking forward to more infinity goodness. thanks BOW for bringing this game more into the public line of sight.
NEED MORE INFINITY!!!
The break from the monotony of mostly GW information and products has been a godsend and Infinity looks to have solid rules to go with it’s gorgeous mini’s, hopefully this is just the beginning on much more to come and people take notice of the game as I’d like to add to the Guijia I picked up to paint ages ago.
just got my hands on the second edition rules and i can’t wait to get started. Gorgeous rule book to go with the great looking mini’s. Top quality all round
I recent begin to play infinity a few months ago, the most atractive part were the minis, is a great change with w40k or other citadel staff, all minis have a lot of details and are so nice and greatfull to paint.
Then the game is very active, with a few minis you can have a lot of action and you never feel as a spactate ( and if you do is because you ara not playing well ), the aro’s system and face to face roll’s make the difference and you feel more the rol of your army.
What more i can say? always is a bit scaring begin a new army and a new game, you thought ¿ and if i don’t like the game after expend money on it?, but you can read the FULL rulebook totally free in the page of infinity, make a few test with your minis and use your w40k escenografy, but i can ensure that if you are a really wargamian wherever the starter pack you chose you will enjoy a nice minis for a very reasonable price
What can I say. I very much appreciate you guys in doing an Infinity week special, and introducing the game to the wider world.
Looking forward to more Infinity content after this week!
The BoW Infinity Week is a nice idea to spread the info about this great game around.
I just wouldn’t advise to use this quick starter rules, they seem to me a little more confusing then helping to get to know the system.
What I actually did pick up from the demo-video, is using of laser for line of sight measure. Why haven’t I come up with this brilliant idea earlier? Thanx anyway.
This is a great game guys. I hope people at least try out the FREE rules. The rule books are great too for the great fluff and artwork as well. But you can at least try it out and proxy your minis. You can use Space Marines for Knights, IG for Ariadna, Eldar for PanO, Nomads, or Aleph, Even orks would be pretty good for Morats in the Combined army. I will tell ya though, once you get some of the awsome minis you’ll want to get more. Yes they take a little more time to put together and paint but it’s not like you have to do 50+ of them. I’ve now got way more Yu Jing than I can play in a game but it still doesn’t equal half of the Eldar I have. Who knows, maybe Corvis will branch out into a “war” game someday and you’ll already be a jump ahead.
Well I think Infinity is an awsome looking game and its lore is very intresting. One of my best friends have always been intrigued by this game and id love to start playing it with him so that he can finally enjoy these awsome minatures and awsome game. BoW you rock man.
Darn can’t edit my post.
One thing you can do to is a an Inquisitor group very nicely. You can use just about any rules except Combined for them I think. Your Inquisitor can be a elite or headquarters troop and you then have a assassins (Haqislam), or Imperial fantatics (Yu Jing Kuang Shi), etc.
Hi,
the infinity week is realy great and made me consider starting with this game. The minis look realy great and the background and rules seems interesting.
I kept seeing your Infinity snap-shot videos on Youtube but never payed it that much attention. Now that yall are doing another one of your awesome game weeks I am totally stoked to play. I even made an account for the soul purpose of attempting to win this contest! Not that I haven’t been watching you guys this whole time, cause I love your site and your Youtube vids! Keep um coming.
I don’t just like Infinity, I think its love at first sight .
On a more serious note, not only is the system great and engaging with a plethora of options available to you. But the story and background to this world in the future is just so rich it makes me feel like I’m reading Tolkein saga with a twist.
I find that playing with fewer models with stacks of background and loads of options and strategies makes Infinity a game of heroes. A game inspired to keep you wondering what can happen, and will happen if I leave cover.
So what do I think? I think that GW should catch a wakeup cause the world of wargaming is about to change, and Corvus Belli is leading the way 😀
Yeah that’s what I think…
I have been looking at Infinity for a long time now, this week special is dangerous for my wallet and my painting backlog. But free prizes are hard to resist.
Loving it… Looks like will be starting a new game some time soon and all the painting…
Infinity looks great, it seems to have a lot of tactical play which makes for a great game. I like games that use something besides D6’s.
Great Game. Love the fluff. Already started getting my club to try it out! 🙂
Loving Infinity week. I actually bought some Infinity Combined Army units to convert for 40k and instead got into Infinity.
A sci-fi game with a low model count makes a slow painter like me very interested. I’m really digging the look of Ariadna and Nomad models.
You guys are making it really hard for me to not order an Ariadna starter box with that really good deal they have going.
Not sure if I should thank or curse you!
Well, I had a combine starter that I sold because no on here played, but if I can win one to give to some then I’ll have no excuse not play.
I am intrigued… I wonder if there any groups in my local area…
man! I cant wait for the nomad coverage! :-p Awsomesauce!
The game looks nicely balanced and without and overwhelming starter cost. aliens and asian space ninjas… lol i want em.
You guys are doing a fantastic job of covering all aspects of Infinity. I’ve been sitting on the fence about this for a long time, and this week has nicely made that decision for me. Hands down, this is a fantastic looking game, and it would be a crime not for me to get into it. Fantastic work, keep it up!
Travis
I like Infinity game system. The A.R.O is a good point to keep both players in action at same time and thaks to all the diferent abilities that it has, you can play with the same faction in many ways.
Ohhh.. and of course another great value of Infinity is the high quality miniatures….. XD
Seams to be a realy interesting game woudent have known about it with out BOW. Might even start plaing it if i dont win´the starter set here 🙂
Those are sweet looking minis, I particular like the sniper in a kilt with a beret…. epic!
Finally a game that lets me use the mass amounts of d20’s I have accrued from years of magic the gathering. You guys have been doing an epic job of making a daunting rule set easy to understand. I watched the quick start video with the rule book in hand and my automatic response order was to get my wallet out and go to the infinity online store.
infinity looks like an amazing game hope i win ^^
I am loving Infinity week so far! it looks like an amazing, deep game! I really want to start playing and show my friends the awesomeness that is Infinity.
Fantastic figures. The figs for this game are down right exquisite! (I had to look up the spell in on that one). I’d love to get my hands on some of them.
Great week for a great looking game!!! You have taken a game that is fairly unheard of in the states and gave it proper treatment. My gaming group are excited to get our hands on the models and the rules to start playing, the sale from Corvus Belli is a brilliant idea to further promote the game.
The quick start rules made it easy for me and my buddy to try the game. The game mechanics are great and i really cant wait to get ahold of the full rules to see how the full gae plays. and the Forces/ Armies are great im partile to the Aleph but who doesnt like killer AI????
Im loving the skirmish aspect of the game, and being able to make 1 guy sprint all the way across the board in one turn! A line of HMGs would be awsome too though.
Thank you guys very much for an awesome INFINITY week so far!! I’ve seen the minis before and loved their style and dynamic poses, but didn’t feel like getting into a new game (already playing 40k as my primary game system). Your tutorials and the demo game were just the push I needed to get into it! It’s a (relatively) simple game system to pick up and you don’t need huge amounts of models to play. Looking forward to introducing it to a friend of mine over here in the United States. Keep up the awesome job, love the videos and website content! Andy, don’t give up, you’ll have your losing streak on camera soon, I can feel it!! 🙂
Seems pretty good. Never really looked outside of GW games (Shock) but this really does look interesting
i must admit that before this week the only thing i liked about infinity was the models mostly the 1s in kilts(skirts if ur warren) and now i am intrested thanks alot to your coverage and the fact that the rules can be downloaded for free (pdfs are the way forward in wargamming imo and GW really should take this up).
one off my most favourite thing about infinity so far is the ARO which rminds me of the old overwatch GW rules
Loving the look and feel of this infinity lark!!! might just have to go “to infinity and beyond” to get myself some!!!
I was wondering if I want to start with Infinity.. Then – suddenly BoW comes with Infinity week. Now I know that I want!
BoW, Infinity Week was amazing!
Especially the Quick Start rules. It has helped me attract a lot of attention to Infinity here in South Africa!
I’ve really liked the Infinity range for some time and even have a decent selection of Haqqislam Hassassin troops. Really enjoying Infinity week. Hope there is a demo with the full rules for the end of the week.
I’m super pumped to try out the quick start rules when I get enough time. I hope to try this game out in a week. Darn school keeping me super busy. Also thanks for showing this game off. I was thinking about getting into this game before this week. But now I am super sold.
I have to add a 2nd comment. This is by far the best and most complete BOW week until now. I just have seen the “Making of Oniwaban”, great addition and precious insight in creation process.
I feel my money is well spent on Infinity, when i see the creators passion and joy while talking about their game. They don t seem to be talking about a product but rather talking about something they are deeply tied with. They give us in every aspect a great game. Form rules to sculpts to paintjobs to the artwork and fluff, the Infinity game is incedibly polished and deserves great success.
My Name ist Janusz an I am a fanboy.
I like the look of this game but no one around me plays it. it is kinda sad. I am enjoying the coverage though.. keep up the good work!!
I’ve been glancing at Infinity for a while now. Now that i know a bit more about the background i’m gonna try my hardest to get my mates involved, even if i have buy armies my self and let my mates borrow them. I think the models are fantastic, and that the artwork that i’ve seen is really good. The rules set has some interesting gameplay concepts that i can’t wait to try, the only hard part is decided which factions to go for? Ariadna or Nomads? PanOceania or Yu Jing? Why must choosing a faction be so hard?
IT´S VERY INTERESTING TO SEE A WARGAME THAT GIVES YOU SOME OF THE TACTICAL FREEDOM THAT YOU GET IN ANY PEN AND PAPER RPG COMBAT SITUATIONS, THE IDEA OF BEING ABLE TO RESPOND TO YOUR OPONENT IN REAL TIME IS PRICELESS, THE MODELS RULE(DOG SOLDIERS AWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!), THE SETTING IS AWESOME…..THANK YOU FOR SHOWING IT´S INCREDIBLE UNIQUE MECHANICS IN ACTION…..AND AS YOU WOULD SAY DEL OTRO LADO DEL CHARCO…..CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
infinity looks like great game too bad i dont have much money atm i would have i would start it
This game has been on the edge of my radar for a while now. Everything about it sounds like its a quality game so I’d love to get a chance to give it a go (and paint some nice models). What to pick though? Aleph? Combine? Nomads?
I have always liked the infinity miniatures but never got a better look at it since i always thought that it would be wery expencive to build an army
When i heard it was a skirmishing game my first thought was “There goes my next paycheck”
Now to make some of my warhammer buddies hooked on it too
Love the videos up so far from BOW. Downloaded the quick start rules, watched all the videos of the different races and backgrounds can’t get enough of the cool sci-fi background, fighting for survival and wanting to dominate the world and other such crazy ideas that bring it to life.
Watched the demo game (unlucky Andy i thought you had it at the end there) it looks like such a great game to get into. Me and my brother, or who ever i play, will surely enjoy such a different way to play table top games we all love to play. I would never have found something anything as interesting and fun if it wasn’t for your coverage of infinity this week so thank you BOW
I am way interested. The mini’s alone are very enticing to get just for their level of detail. I’ve watched a few games being played and look to try it out asap. I like the focused game of the week style your going with! Good luck to everyone for this nice giveaway!
This game is absolutely the best, thanks for introducing it to a ton of new players. The community really does appreciate it. And it only gets richer the deeper you get into it. the miniatures are absolutely beautiful as well.
i love the dice mechanics in Infinity because the d20 has never been used in a game i like this before
Hooray, finally got round to registering…
I love the look of this game, and I do like that it’s a brighter (all be it) war torn future.
Greetings from Hungary!
I think this is the game what im looking for!
Special Operations and special characters,I Love it.
im sold. like how its more real time than most table top games how you can shoot back. all i have to do is get a mate to collect with me.
The game looks great! I’m really enjoying the break down of everything on the site so far and thankful for the rules you guys have posted for everyone. 😀 I will have to pick this game up and introduce it to my gaming group here in western Washington.
Keep up the great work guys!
I just learned the basic rules from some friends at my local store and now I am looking to start haqqislam. This game is like chess on drugs, and I love it. You have to use every model and true line of sight to their truest potential. Thanks for the videos on this great new game guys you rule.
Great game, I must definitely try it! Thanks for the QSR.
This game looks absolutely great! I’m so glad you guys went into the background behind the fantastic minis, and that the background is just as cool and interesting.
What I really liked is how it references our present/past to create a future version of it and how the game involves both players in each turn, something I think GW’s games could use a bit of, at least in smaller games anyway. (BTW, what happened to England, Ireland and Wales in this future? This is even more reason for me to read more of the fluff and find out! Lol).
The videos have really got me into the game, and I can’t wait to get a starter set and full rulebook read more of the fluff to find out about the game, whether I get lucky and win a set or not, it’s awesome. And the ideas behind the futuristic weapons are well thought out too; they;re not just completely generic blasting guns or big fat manga swords, there’s thought behind it all. They really seemed to hit the main points of a great game: Excellent minis, interesting and cool fluff, and great rules that make sense and are fun to play.
I just can’t choose between the some of the factions because I want to get a few of each, they’re that good. Then again, I could get a starter set of each-damn, hmm… Infinity is excellent!
Love the look of the game. There is no better way to start than with a WIN!!
picked up the first edition years ago, but never had an opponent…
if only I had an extra rulebook and starter to give away…
:-))
can I give my reply in the form of a haiku?
Infinity, wow
thank you beasts of war, really
time to buy Yu Jing
Never played infinity before, and had only heard of it a few times before.
Now however I am very interested in starting! Just need some way of starting it.
The models look very nice!
Hey BOW loving infinity week! and just want to say your videos really make me want to start playing infinity or at least expand from just games workshop!
This game is amazing, I strongly recommend you guys give it a shot. It’s the game I currently play the most. Haqq 4 life!
Machine Guns, Ninja’s and hot girls in armor. How could infinity not be a great game. I love the intor rules and the ability to add more complex rules as you learn. I love the ARO and the ability to react to your opponents moves and the storyline is impressive.
I’m really looking forward to getting started into the massive world of infinity, the amazing scope and scale of the background really draws me in.
In some ways to bring me back into the world of Necromunda by GW, but alot better thought out and with that awesome sci-fi feel that really appeals to us all.
Great work Corvus Belli, this has potential to explode and i can’t wait.
I’m new to Infinity but it looks good. The focus on movement and cover makes it different from other mini games I’ve played before.
OK, first of all, you should always make those prizes, never saw so many comments under a topic:).
Thanks to BOW, I now know what the next game would be, that I’ll start. Thanks for the good work and keep on going.
I think Infinity is one of the most exciting games out there. The possibilities seem to be endless and the ARO system is something I ever waited for (may the Gods will excuse my little horizon to never have looked at this game).
Thanks for the opportunity to get started with such an interesting game, don’t know how many time I spend the last days to get more information about this, the wiki-site is very cool and you get a lot of information about the game there.
It’s sometimes such great things, like a BOW-special to make life better and better:)
(would I even write this if there’s nothing to win, maybe, yes I would, because I’m very impresed 🙂 )
Thanks Beasts of War for a great Infinity week it has really opened my eyes wider than just 40k being on the sci fi scene.
Cheers Guys ! 😀
Infinity looks awesome, I’ve even been able to play a demo game at the LGC, and it rocks! I’m really looking forward to get started, just gonna finish my 2.5k of ‘nids I just bought ^^
I really apreciate and enjoy the Infinity Week, since i’m really interested in the game and especially the beautiful miniatures. I even bought 3 Haqqislam minis a month ago but had until now no time and no gaming buddy due to a recent move.
So, big thumbs UP, this promo was overdue and will defenitely get me into Infinity!
i loce infity because it a very clever game system it has a wonderful range of minatures and because BOW review it
I looks good, I prefer the smaller scale battles – 6-15 minis each – as they make it seem more action-packed, and the larger minis are certainly a thumbs up for the modeller and painter!
This is the best review/support week BOW has done to date. Awesome coordination with corvus belli guys. Hats off. ( I bought 3 army deals because of you combined efforts)
hmm looks great and wow many comments 😀
I really loved the Infinityvideos. Seeing the game in action really inspired me to get it start playing it. Beasts of War gets better and better. I hope I learn it fast enough, can’t wait to play it with the full rules!
Having discovered BoW just a few months ago, it has quickly become one of my most frequently visited sites and the Infinity week is a perfect example of WHY I visit so much. Every day, I learn about some new miniature or wargaming company I’ve never heard of before and it gives them a great chance to expand their client base and draw in more precious sales.
Take Infinity for example. I’ve admired their figures for some time and always thought they would make good RPG character models, or proxies for other games where the miniatures might be somewhat lacklustre.. but until this week I had never even considered getting in to the game. But now that I’ve had a chance to sit through all of the videos, I have a good feel for the setting and the different factions and I’m torn between starting an Ariadna force (because I can related to their European heritage and their near-future weapons and gear) or the awesome anime-styled sculpts of the Nomads. I have a horrible feeling I may end up buying both.. and my wife is just going to KILL me!
To Infinity and Beyond GW
Always been interested in Infinity, great models and looks like it’s pretty fun too! Would love to give it a go.
Without the likes of Beasts of War, as well as the magic of the internet, we South Africans would never have been as exposed to the wonders of this hobby and the amazing products like Infinity that pop up from time to time! Well done Corvus Belli! Looking forward to this new line….
Some amazingly in depth backgrounds. Love their take on the future it almost hints at the fluff from Joss Weadon’s”Firefly” in that there was a massive East West split before humanity took to the oceans of the skies. I’d have to put a hell of a lot of thought into which army i’d want they all seem so cool. Love artificial constructs but a Japanese or middle Eastern army would also be sweet. Living in Scotland though those Highland infantry have a huge pull too! Aaaaagh too much choice. Time to think.
I’m excited to start Infinity, the orders system look really unique. May the Dice (or probability, or luck) Gods Grant me this One Win!
allright Guys…. I always wanted to start playing Infinity and ALWAYSkept finding some excuses not to start it (usually I just spent my money on other miniatures). But today I decided – I want to play and I want to play the Haqqislam. It would be perfect if I somehow happen to be the one to win this amazing starter set from You, but anyways – Infinity miniatures are now the first on my “to buy” list
I love the game. Its very nice that even cheaper models are perfectly able to kill the expensive ones and the aro system is really awesome. I bought Infinity a few months ago after seeing the yu jing domaru model and i can´t wait for the new haramaki
Thanks for explaining it so well guys going to try pick up a starter set for the nomads i think and have a go at the game
Loving Infinity week guys, you’ve got me hooked on yet ANOTHER game system!
Hopefully I’ll be able to get some more people at my local gaming club (Northumbrian Adventurers guild in Northumberland), that way I’ll be able to play this awesome game system.
Possibly with free stuff? haha.
Thanks for giving people the chance to win stuff, keep up the good work work guys, you make the best hobby videos out there by far. Long Live BoW.
i’ve found something to distract my 11year old son from halo “and what a distraction its fantastic”
I WANNA PLAY INFINTIY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like a good skirmish game. I’d like to give it a try.
Just wanted to say, you’re doing a great job with infinity week. Nice to see that you’re interested in those games, less Known that the current blockbusters but with lot of personnality and charisma.
The demo game was also kinda nice. I really use to enjoy the way BOW shows us some game system (your video made me bought Cygnar starting in Warmachine for example).
Infinity video and quick start rules are quite tempting … What’s that ???? I’m hearing the call of Haqqislam …
Heard here about the game here for the first time (in greater depth that is), and I’m more than willing to give it a try. PanOc and Nomads are sound, really.
Hi Beasts of War.
On Infinity, you nailed it in the intro video. I’d done exactly what you said: downloaded the rules previously, had a flick through and thought “nice minis, game looks way complex,” and never gone back to it. What a mistake. Seems to be a really good system with little downtime for either player during a game, gw depth rivalling fluff and excellent minis with low numbers required (good for wallet and getting them all painted). Thanks for putting it back on my radar.
Congratulations on another superb themed week of videos. I have no idea how long the pre and post production on your stuff takes but you keep pumping out top quality gaming video goodness, I can’t even find time in the day to do the washing up.
Well. Well, well, well. This. Game. Looks. AWESOME!!! I mean, a cover-based cyberpunk skirmish game. Who on earth could say no?
been watchin your channel for a while. im getting pumped for this great new game. so i had to sign up and get in on this prize because it is amazing!
the haramakis and nomads look awesome O_O
love the miniatures and the whole setting of this game. too bad the 40K universe took my savings away.
I HOPE I WIN THE PRIZE DRAW LOL
Some nice models, and I could see some nice campaigns being run for this one! Bring on the Pan-O
I’ve been eyeing up the miniatures from Infinity for a while now, they look very good. I like the anime style too, I’m not normally a fan of it but the designers have don a really good job. Thanks BOW for doing Infinity week!
Love the strategic elements the BOW team has discussed. I am looking forward to giving this one a go!
Hope I can get my gaming group to start it, very interested in infinity after watching the videos.
We would like to win the prizes for the Infinity game to help our community at home and online to grow and enjoy the games they play. Infinity seems like a very interesting game and we would like to post battle reports from our youtube channel and our blog at Tabletopgamers.blogspot.com to help continue that that support.
Infinity definitely looks interesting, and the models look great as well. I have been liking the updates, keep them coming.
I’ve really enjoyed the fact that you guys queue up an entire section of content, over a few days to an entire week, so that us, your august and noble viewership can get the full context of whatever it is you’re covering (e.g. the GW ‘Nids release last year). Keep up the good work…I’m definitely debating whether to choose Warmachine or Infinity now.
Been into this great game for the last 2 years and unlike any other I’ve played I’ve never been bored by it. Glad to see it getting the attention it deserves as it’s a great system with amazing minis-I’ve now got over 120 thanks to the deals on corvus belli’s site for this week 😉
I have a Jeanne of Arc I got as a gift to a friend after painting it. The model makes me feel inadequate with all the detail.
I am very interested in starting Infinity. I really enjoy skirmish games, especially ones with a very rich story. As far as the game and models go I don’t see any downsides; however, I find it very hard to find shops that sell it and basically can only find the main website store online. I am not a fan of how the site is set up and don’t like browsing the web store. If Infinity becomes more readily available I’ll be all hands on deck. I would love to win this contest and start using the armies to show my local gaming group the game and try to create local interest. Maybe with enough interest my local store will start stocking the models. Take care guys and awesome job so far with Infinity week!
I’m really exicted for Infinity and I can’t wait to get into it.
I’ve been playing Infinity for over just a year, and I love playing the Ariadna. You can do so much with a faction that is low tech in a high tech era.
Great job in spreading the word about the fantastic wargame that is Infinity.
Keep up the good work
I have loved the look and feel of this game since i watch a series of YouTube videos of it When I say BeastsOfWar were doing something, I fistpumped with joy. With the great of work you guys do all the time it was going be great and I was not wrong. I like the setting, I like the artwork, I almost like these things as much as I like the models, which are amazing. The rules are great, and make sense; something not all games has to offer. I would love to use this as a way to tryout a new system and have fun. Plus free stuff!
Just started wargaming and love it. I want more. Free stuff makes it all the more fun. Plus Infinity looks awesome.
I’ve been eyeing this game for awhile. I love the figs and combat system. i really need to get my local gaming community into this game and this would be the perfect way.
i just became a member because if this wonderful gaming system, i hope that i will be able to get the prize :D. for me the game infinity is a amazingly paced action-filled game of tactical thinking in which players have to choose how to effectively spend their resources to gain the best output to win the game , also the infinity game is set in an amazing background in the future and the possibilities on how our race will look and feel like.
btw BoW keep up the good work 😀
Ooh. I’m very interested. The figs look awesome and it’d be cool to give it a go. Thanks for the opportunity. Sign me up!
Yu-Jing please!
Not since Confrontation have I been so excited about a model range and it’s game system. I’m in the States, where these games are slow to get adopted, but the word is spreading and players are starting to pick it up. Now if only I’d win something, from a website somewhere that was running a prize draw….hmmmm…..
Love the idea of responding with actions as the other player makes their move. Also like the sniper model which came out recently
Great content guys keep it up loved the infinity stuff
would be awesometacular if I got winning this prize!
I loved the coverage of a game not very popular here in the states. The models look fantastic and rules sound easy enough to pick up. Thanks for the in-depth info!
Infinity is so great my favorite is the Nomads as you can see from my picture. The gameplay is swift and engaging and the models are so detailed along with the box art which is soooooooooo good. Space Gypsys Rule
I’ve always loved cyberpunk, skirmish combat rules and mechs. Infinity has all three! A breath of fresh air to see something like this.
Interesting rule set, easy to pick up and play.
Loved your awesome hour-long detailed painting tutorials. Hope you guys can do the same with Infinity miniatures. Hoping to see decent White-based army painting tutorials.
Hi guys,
I’ve never tried Infinity before because I thought that it’s almost impossible to paint the minis on the same level as Corvus Belli did, and I’ll have to practice a lot to reach that skill [and also I hate playing with unpainted figs], however I’ve always heard that it has brilliant rules, it has nice background and much more a tactical game than any other competitors in this kind of category so thanks guys for this Infinity Week, thanks for the videos they are convinced me that I must have to try this game anyway!! :))
Cheers!
infinity weeks been awesome and thanks to the advertised 50% off i have just brought the ariadna set cant wait for my minis to arrive and set up some terrain.
thanks for a great week guys with a look into the fluff, miniatures and rules
Well, it seems Infinity became somewhat more popular this week! Very nice. I hope to see Aleph painting tutorial on Youtube.
Wow, almost 500 replies so far (unless my drunken math is off). That doesn’t make my odds of winning very high.
I already have lots of infinity minis, and very much want to see more infinity players out there. On the other hands, I want that new Haqqislam and Military Orders Starter. And in the very unlikely event of me winning, I’m gonna have to go for the minis. Sorry guys, but I imagine you understand.
cracking models that are great to paint, reminds me of 3rd ed 40K with all the wargear
Hi there. Great job with the InFiNiTy Week. I’m a little-less-depressed robot right now. Thanks a lot.
This game is really different. Mature, tactical, evolved. I love it. I love contrasts too. So I think Nomads and Aleph are my way. Keep up the good work. Logging out.
grate video . would love to get free stuff .
Thanks lads, really enjoyed Infinity week and it looks like I’m going to start collecting another gaming system.
I haven’t found time to watch all the videos yet- But I’ve been pouring over the online miniature gallery.
The ALEPH stuff makes me happy inside. If this takes off in my area- they shall be my faction.
I have really enjoyed this week, i am really digging it.
As Collector not a gamer your help and support with “what’s on the box” and the dedicate weeks is a great feature to find those “little gems” that hide among the hundreds of models in the market…And Infinity had loads of them so glad you dedicate this week to such a great firm/game
Thanks
Good to see your covering even more games guys , keep up the good work.
Thanks for the videos. I’ve been curious about Infinity for a while and now I want it. My wallet can’t take any more of this.
Great watching to be had, good to find out more about these great miniatures and the game itself.
Hi there. I acctually got this game recomended to me about two weeks ago by a friend I don´t see as much since he moved and got his kids.
While researching the rules and the fluff on the Infinity mainsite and forums I found this site wich is all kinds of awesome.
Haven´t really played any wargames in about 3-4 years since I´ve been unemployed for quite a long time and I tend to want to eat and have a roof over my head instead of spend my money on minis.
This prize draw would enable me (and one of my flatmates) to get into the game (have tried a couple of games with proxies and loving it so far) as well as give my outoftown friend an excuse to visit more often.
Cheers on the videos and I really really hope there will be more Infinity-themed weeks here at Beasts of War, preferably with more in deapth content.

Hi there from Poland. Me and my friends which were playing wargames(only two ;/+ me) really enjoy the Infinity Week and whole this goodness which are made by you guys. What about Infinity? First thing is that I just love is very tactical type of game ,where is a lot of beautifull? models and terrain. It’s more realistic too, you can react(ARO) like on real battlefield and i LOVE THAT! I’m huge fan of skirmish.Corvus Belli did great job and we really think to get in Infinity (and wargaming again) Very tactical game type gives you just hours of thinking and planning. More ideas from real life can be in game! Just whole bunch of great ideas from Corvus Belli. Great looking fluff ,miniatures and design of s-f world which is really great alternative for players bored warhammer. Personally I’m tactic and this is game made for me!!
Guys i would buy this things but we are only 13 years old with friends and this is expensive for us, here in Poland. Help young with infinity! 😀
Ariadna looks really sweet. Such very pretty minis.
Oh hell yes! I’d love to play this game. Malifaux is a pretty amazing skirmish game, but I was looking for something more science fiction than steampunk/fantasy when i stumbled upon Infinity.
Amazing models? Winning.
Great rules? Winning.
Rules that border on near raving rants on the awesomeness of this game? Winning!
This game’s got tigerblood.
Looks like a awesome game, would like to have some stuff to start playing this game.
This game really looks like a lot of fun. I might give it a try in the near future. 🙂
Loving the Infinity week! The tutorials have been helpful. It seems every time I play Infinity that my gaming partner and I forget a detail or two of the Infinity combat rules, but seeing it step by step helps a ton. Thanks
It just look awesome and its totally diffrent then all the other tabletop games are out now atm.
Espacially the Models are looking perfect.
But its mean now u guys infected me with the infinity virus and i need to get some of there Minitures and play it ^^

Greetings people. You have all been led here by the lies of ALEPH. Why don’t you open your eyes and stop behaving like sheep. ALEPH is out to destroy us and you all bow down to the words it feeds you. The only way to beat ALEPH is to come visit us here in VaudeVille. Wine, women, song or anything else that takes your fancy…we cater to all tastes.
See you on the other side. Baa

Ok I hope I’m not too late on this.
But Me and friend have been wanting to get into this game for a while. Ariadna and Haqqislam are what we have been decided.
This would be a huge help.
Man these models look good. Here’s hoping!
Never heard of infinity before but it looks so freaking EPIC!
This game looks amazing! The sculpts are some of the greatest I’ve seen, and the game itself looks like it plays quite well.
Just loving the fantastic models and the whole universe around the game. I think it´s even more awesome than the 40k universe.
Just bought me some figures to have them standing painted besides my TFT simply to watch how beautifull they are.
Infinity week is great!!!!!! I love these themed weeks please keep up the good work. I did download the rules awhile back but haven’t really looked at them til now. Now I will have to get some friends to watch the videos and get them to buy some with me. I do like the combined armys and the scotts. Nomads seem like fun too.
well the game is just starting but it feels like it has been around for years. now this game is awesome because it is for a war game is small, short and cheep because after a day at school or work you can call a buddy to play a 40min game unlike 40k which for 1500 pt can go for 2 hours and this game you only need like 5-10 minis to play a game and it still as all the fluff, rules and fun as 40k but more fun, more controlled and faster to play. the minis are so well done along with the art work.
not too bother you but panO and the yu jing is what me and my friend want to play
The game looks really interesting. I’m definitely going to try the quick rules that you guys have provided. I also love the look of the models, some of the best I’ve seen.
Just getting into this game and love it already. Thanks for the great promotion of it too BoW! HOpefully that’ll convince my friends to play!
This game is so much fun the play is fast and interactive BOW introduced me to it now im hooked. I really hope my little brother might play as it would make me really happy.
Thanks so much BOW and corpus belli for such a great and informative week.
I really am thinking about picking up the rules and two armies to introduce this game to my friends on their birthdays. Which happen to be on the same weekend. Looks like a good infinity weekend is hopefully on the way.
I’ve been playing infinity for a while now, and I’m glad you’ve done this infinity week- it really seems to have got alot of people enthused about the game, and that can only be good news!
Great game, and great miniatures. So different from other war games out there, very fast paced and enjoyable. Great coverage this week guys!
i just really wanna paint some of these figures look like they would be more traditional wargame
painting if you no what i mean
one of the best games ive ever played. as a fan of wargaming AND mangs, it pleases me greatly!!! love it love it LOVE IT!
sorry, that should have said manga! the inspiration is amazing!
when is this being drawn? or have i missed it already? im already drooling over the propect of haqqislam and ALEPH :D….well i didnt win the lottery so this is the next best thing 😀
I have played my 1st Infinity game two weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was our first game for both of us and we had trouble with the rules, but after one or two games we will be able to play it properly and get our kicks from this new addiction. 🙂
I think infinity seems like a very cool game and much more like real combat than 40k. 40k seems really Gothic compared to these crisp models and they look like a lot of fun to paint as well.
I have played two times infinity, and its a nice game with great great miniatures as we can se every month when you post the infinity news from the month. I have seen your review of the book and now with this week of infinity you are the best.
I will watch the whole bunch of videos.
B.
Infinity looks like a brilliant little skirmish game. Since I saw the first look at the end of last year I have been hooked. All the models are just beautiful, the combat system is so unique, the races all have great back story (that have an ingame presence), and most importantly the game-play looks like it should be both tactical & entertaining. To Corvus Belli and the Bests of War crew great job and keep up the good work.
when is this drawn? id love to win it but also love to know what the winners picked
Have been watching the infinity week with interest as it seems to be a complex and seemingly fun system, and would love to have a chance to get some of those lovely models.
I like new stuff, thanks for bringing this game to our attention looks awesome. 🙂
When is the drawing? I would hate to think I missed it!
Looking forward to this being drawn! I really enjoy Infinity – its the game that I’ve been searching for a long time. A great, actually tactical game.
Nomads all the way!
Awesome
infinity looks a very good game and I really like the minis i cant see how they could be improed and the reactions rules are quite diffrent to anything i haved done before
I love a good wargame and Infinity hits the mark. A small tactical game, heavy on tactics, and a little luck of the Dice for that fog of war aspect.
Keep it up guys!
Was shocked to win!!
Well looks like my minis finally arrived…. so just have to avoid gluing my fingers assembly Aleph and Combine boxsets…like the badges and posters that got packed with starters.
