I have been, swedish proverb, walking like the cat around hot poridge about that Infinity set. That is been close to ordering it many a times. I´m just not sold on the d20 with shit loads of +/- faktors, reminds me of my own games from when I was just out of high school. It works just fine but aint got that d6 flow. I will try infinty, sooner or later. Nice with more videos on the topic anyhow! Great work you guys!
I like it that the factions themselfes seem to have such a veriaty…a USAriadna Army looks and plays different from any other Ariadna sectorial. And awsome minis..as always 🙂

Por supuesto no todo es altruismo, CB es una empresa y necesita sacar un beneficio. Pero demostrar esta inteligencia, llevar a las GenCon un producto así es una obra maestra. Se van a vender todos los que lleven en la primera hora de venta al público, y sinceramente me alegro muchísimo, porque desearía que este mismo formato de producto se utilizara en el resto de facciones, no solo como una excepción.

Fantastic video. I think that the Antipode and Dog Warrior challenge the Circle Orboros for the best werewolf models. I really hope I win a copy of Operation Icestorm, as I want to convince my partner to try Infinity. Is there a chance that the Combined Army will get a starter box along these lines in future?

If I did pick up this set (and I’m very sorely tempted) then I may just be inclined to move them over the border and make them Canadian?
You could give them flannel shirts, jugs of maple syrup, and swap the bike out for a moose. Then every time you crit, you would have to apologize.
The bike is awesome. The dual sport style really fits the USAriadna look and style and fits well in the game.

The Highlander faction were once my army of choice but this USAriadna looks absolutely terrific.The book looks excellent and the miniatures are awesome as normal. This is a great move by Corvus Belli. Just wish I could paint the figures like that.

Not really my faction of choice, but I will admit they look really-really cool.
they look very nice… at first sight i thought cb was issuing a new game with some sort of ww2 uchrony cross-genre (like we see in superheros us comics) with us troops cross d with infinity factions and races… was already wondering whether they would release a set for ussr / soviet block army, german troops and also japanese ones…
… now that i think of it, that might be an awesome idea : mix weird ww2 context with scifi tech and alien races and technology…with a skirmish game… would be way better than dust tactics which is now sticking with their one-time original concepts but have been failing to provide anything really new for the 4 last years.
@cb : would you not try something in this setting ?

No, you are right – several of the Infinity minis are based on characters from films etc (the Acontecimento Regulars are the characters from Lost for example).
Oh OK that’s rather cool hadn’t realised that….it makes me even more interested in picking some infinity stuff up to paint….cheers for clearing that up!
Damn, I had the choice between Warzone resurrection and Infinity to start up with a mate. We choose WZR, but… with the stuff coming out from Corvus Belli and specifically this set I’m starting to regret my choice. This is a very, very sexy set of miniatures and terrain.

Thanks for such an exclusive and extensive material about USAriadna. I am currenty at the hospital for 2 weeks and todays news is the only good news i received so far! About the models, they are masterpieces. All of the them 10/10, except dog warrior, which is a little big to static. Previous version of sculpt with two chain rifles was slighty better. On the other hand antipode is best miniature I have ever seen, my mark 12/10!!!
I am looking forward to buy this set, even considering two:D so please CB be vigilant for a massive orders upcoming. Any delays is not an option!

I saw the trailer on the weekender and it looked amazing, I love the models and the terrain.
That really is a spectatcular set… i was looking at the operation icestorm infinity week from last year the other day and was rather impressed. Some of the older infinity models I have tend to suffer a bit with mould lines, flash and mould slip but these look perfect.
Well, there goes my money. Still USAriadna looks amazing. Nice touch waiting till right after July 4th to release the murica army.

Yeah it is nice, like all the Infinity stuff and certainly the new things that are coming out. As soon as this bunch make contact with my Combined Army it is just “Dog-meat”.
For all the people how want try Infinity, just do it, I played 40K and I have never looked back. It has a learning curve that is a little hard to get in to, but it pays in the end.
These guys look sweet. I’d hope I could replicate some of my favorite GI Joes from childhood.

This starter blew my mind. I’ve been mulling over Infinity for months now, and Ariadna has always called to me. I have so many great plans for this box. I literally paused the video to grab it from Wayland Games. I’ve got leftover Allied stars from Flames of War tanks for the bike. Might even use my tons of leftover Canadian division markings. We Canucks hitch rides with American spaceships all the time, don’t see why the Ariadnan expidition would have been any different.
What I’m looking forward to most is the USAMC Dogface. Totally making him an MP as part of a very drawn out WolfCop reference. If you’re unfamiliar with WolfCop, it’s part of a great legacy of Canadian werewolf movies.

I’ve been hovering around Infinity for a while. There is a decent presence where I live, but I’ve been hesitant to take the plunge. This new army looks awesome and I’m seriously considering getting it, if for nothing more than to paint the minis and read about the back story. I’m all about the fluff, but haven’t found too much about the infinity universe in general so I think that’s one of the reasons I haven’t gotten into it yet. This box set could change that.

Captain Van Zant looks like Reign of Fire’s character Denton Van Zan. Are there Canadians, New Zealanders and Australians among Ariadna. Has anyone done a custom sectorial for Ariadna? I bought the Angel Giraldez Masterclass Volume 1, I wish I could paint like that. The Infinity artwork and painted minis are gorgeous!!

Love the new Antipodes and Dog Warriors. A lot of cool stuff, just the bike looks too much Highway Patrol like. At least not another cool looking chopper.

I wasn’t going for this at all until saw the unboxing. Damn. Custom Meeple and Angel done some awesome paint jobs, they just sell themselves. Guess that’s a fifth faction ordered then.

Pretty exciting, the durability of the troops seems to be perfect for a starter army for my gf. I’m a little confused though by the fluff, I understand that The Shock Army of Acontecimento is supposed to be extremely durable. How do these compare to those models in game?

Loving the US Ariadna starter box set, all the minis and buildings are out of this world. The paint work on the mini`s is the best i`ve seen in a long time, and now i seen the “Devil Dog`s” painted i have to get me some.

This new starter army is great. I might actually find myself buying a 3rd infinity army.
Very through breakdown both of the Fluff and the models. Initially I had worries that the poses looked too static, but seeing them rotated and in hand those worries have been dispelled. Very excited for this faction.

I am not much into the anime style of Infinity, but i have to admit that the new Army Set looks awesome.
Hmpf, after a long time thinking about it my Morat army has to wait. I actually wanted to stock them up to 400 points but now I will pre order the GenCon Bundle A! The miniatures are just to beautiful, and all the little extras plus the two limited edition minis making the whole thing to juicy! Oh and custom dice are always great!
Also with the bundle I will have 6 armies and 4 paper terrain sets, and the N3 rule book (+fluff) which makes it a perfect collection if I ever want to demo Infinity and/or for upcoming ITS events. It probably will take me ages to paint all the minis and my FoW Easy Company has to wait even longer until I can finish them.
Getting more and more tempted by this. Still painting up Mars Attacks though

Another great looking force for infinity. Also putting the wee terrain pack in with starter is great, can never have enough nice themed terrain.
I picked up a few new troops the other day to expand my starter forces and the newer CAD sculpted minis are amazing, probably the best metal minis I’ve seen. Not to say the older sculpts are bad but the exactness of the fit of the new ones was really very impressive.

I’m just starting my journey into wargaming. Infinity was my game of choice, and I had narrowed my starting army down to 4 factions. Ariadna was definitely not one of them…. until I saw this unboxing video! They look great!

Love the box set and the whole idea of army boxes. Miniatures look great too. However really disappointed with CB for these offers/bundles which seem entirely aimed at new players. What about some love for those who have already got on board?
I bought N3. I bought operation Icestorm. I do not need repeats. How can I get the exclusive mini without picking up something I have already. A bit of a dumb move in my opinion from a company I really like.
I’m very tempted to just buy it and try it out. There’s a certain charm not having to move 40+ models each turn. Ans they look kick ass

I swore I wasn’t going to get into wargaming again but Infinity is really beginning to grab me and this box looks like the gateway ‘drug’. To make matters worse I will soon have a dining table again for the first time in eight years within a few weeks.

Got Operation Icestorm back when it was on preorder. It was a fantastic entry to get into Infinity. Looking at the other factions, I have to admit Ariadna was not one of my top choices. Boy did I change my mind as soon as I saw the USAriandna army pack unboxing. The biker scout, the werewolves, and Van Zant made me a convert. Preordering now!
Keep meaning to get into Infinity, with this new set it’s becoming more and more of when rather than if….

The starter box is a good idea, but I kind of think it is expensive. I know when you add it up its about reasonable, but for some reason it doesn’t seem to have the value Ice Storm did to me. Maybe because I prefer to dabble in an army before committing and ice storm allowed me to to that but USAriadna doesn’t. I’m sure it will sell well though. Good job CB.

I’ll admit I don’t know much about this game (play wise), but this looks absolutely awesome.
Cillian and Carlos mentioned how awesome Van Zant was at the bootcamp, but neither of them let on to me there was a sweet upgrade of the model to go along with it!
I still have my Haqqislam, JSA, and starter set of Ariadna from the bootcamp to get painted but the US army pack is looking very tempting.
Those are some amazing sculpts. I may have to pull the trigger and pre-order this one.

Werewolves! This looks like a fun Faction to play. I like the ability to get off the bike capture a point get back on and take off. Great mechanic.

Still too many guys with guns in the air. Can’t we get them with two arm sets? You know, one set of arms with the silly guns in the air, fists to the side, lounging about poses and another set of arms actually doing something combat related like they would be on the table, like aiming or swinging their melee weapon. The head would have to be a separate piece so it can look in the right direction for either pose though, so maybe a shallow dome and socket type design for the neck? That would be good, I think.
