Victrix Miniatures has listened to the community (and Gerry) and released a new set for their 28mm World War II collection. You can now get a separate 28mm scale German Heavy Weapons Support set, which contains more weapons used to suppress the enemy!

German Heavy Weapons Support - Victrix Miniatures

German Heavy Weapons Support // Victrix Miniatures

This uses the same frames as the original set of German Infantry, focusing on three Heavy Weapons sprues and two main Infantry sprues. This means that you can build a great array of different heavy weapon support troops for use in games like Bolt Action or V For Victory.

This set then allows you to build three MG42s on tripods with their full crew, three 81mm Mortars with crew, four MG42 on bipods, three Panzerschrecks and nine Panzerfausts. You also get a bunch of regular infantry that can be armed with MP40s, StG44s and rifles.

Mortar Team - Victrix Miniatuers

That's thirty-two additional miniatures for you to get your hands on, alongside what was already available as part of their German Infantry & Heavy Weapons set. It also comes in at a little bit of a cheaper price when compared to the larger set, so you can snap this up and really focus on getting Hitler's buzzsaws onto the tabletop.

Get a look at what Gerry thought of the new 28mm plastic miniatures from Victrix in the video below.

Unboxing: WW2 German Infantry & Heavy Weapons

It's neat to see a company listening to the community and introducing a new product to the range so that wargamers can get the most out of their purchases. With this being done for the Germans, I'd hope that we'll see this repeated in the future for other nations covered in Victrix's World War II collection.
