Kicking things off, the StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game will see players controlling their favourite factions, the Terrans, Zerg and Protess, in battles on the tabletop that are fast-paced and stay true to the Real Time Strategy roots of the game.

Archon will be working on producing high-quality miniatures for the game alongside a set of rules allowing for interesting gameplay mechanics, faction customisation and more than allows you to explore the various facets of the different armies in the StarCraft universe.
More information is coming later in the year covering the miniatures and the battles for the Koprulu Sector. I would imagine that the vast majority of the miniatures (if not all of the miniatures) are going to be the hard plastic that Archon is known for.
StarCraft has had quite the history in tabletop gaming and it very nearly did become a tabletop miniatures game back in the day. It seems "about time" (get in all the memes) that StarCraft came to the tabletop as a wargame.
Archon has also announced they are going to be working on board games in 2027 after the launch of the tabletop miniatures game in 2026. Find out more HERE or on Facebook.
Could a StarCraft wargame lure you in?

Judging by the miniature concepts shown I think it will not lure me in. It doesn’t look like the resource focused game SC is. a 6 – 15mm game would be more fitting. Time will tell.
I never played video games or card games so I am immune to this, Halo and the likes. The heavy armoured looks cool though.
I loved starcraft and I would love a tabletop game. But I’m with Sundancer: large scale battles would be the way to go.
I will not be going as got burnt by prodos and their AVP Kickstarter never got half of my stuff
