Artel Miniatures Preview A Sci-Fi Wolf Lord Coming Very Soon!

Artel W Miniatures are heralding the coming of the Space Wolves with their own take on Space Vikings. See what you make of their swanky new Sci-Fi miniatures, which are led by this impressive Wolf Lord.

I imagine folks will already be thinking of some fun ways for this miniature to be included in both new and old armies of the Grimdark future. It showcases the hero cutting his way through enemy ranks, his sword scything through foes whilst his wolf companions make a meal of whoever avoids his sword.

If you want to don his helmet rather than let all that luscious blond hair flow free, you will also get components in the set to do just that alongside more options for his hands, pose and the base.

Like any good Space Viking, he brings with him a flagon on his belt so he can drink and feast once the fighting is done. Whilst I do like this alternative build for the character, I think I prefer him with his snarling face on show.

If you want to represent this Wolf Lord once he's been through the ringer a little bit, then there is also this mutated/gifted version of him.

This could well be the version of this particular hero that finds his way into new armies battling against the forces of Chaos across the galaxy. Sometimes it is better to embrace the gifts given to you in order to destroy your enemies, even if you become a monster, it seems!

Royal Hirdmen

As well as that Wolf Lord miniature coming soon, we also got a look at the Royal Hirdmen who will be watching over their leaders and hunting down dangerous foes on the battlefield.

The Royal Hirdmen come armed with hefty hand weapons and those big shields which are going to take the brunt of the enemy's shooting. The designs are great, as always, and they will be a nice set of unique figures to include alongside the rest of your Space Viking army.

You get a mix of unique poses in the set and, if I know Artel, this set is also likely to feature a selection of options so you can give these warriors a bunch of different weapons, heads and more. A good option for those who want to expand upon the options when building Space Wolves armies with alternative kits.
