More Beowulf Teasers For Ragnarok Miniatures’ Next Kickstarter

Building on the previous preview by Ragnarok Miniatures for their next Kickstarter, we got to see more of the Beowulf-themed miniatures that will be joining the Arthurian Age campaign, with a focus on the invasion by the Saxons.

The focus of the new campaign is going to be on that Arthurian Age and the arrival of the Saxons in Britain, following the settling of the isles in the wake of their invasion. Colin of Ragnarok Miniatures has always been a fan of Beowulf (as have I! It's fascinating) and so there will be a little bit of a Fantasy detour into miniatures like Grendel and Grendel's Mother as you can see here.

They look suitably awesome and in keeping with the style of sculpts that we've seen by Ragnarok Miniatures in the past. I am still of the mind that it would be great to play a Beowulf-themed miniatures game and these (plus the range by Medbury) would be excellent for doing just that. You could do a fun solo wargame where you track the tale of Beowulf, perhaps in the same style of a McCullough wargame.

If we get some great miniatures matched to Beowulf and his kin, this could be a dangerous Kickstarter!
