You might have already checked out the recent Warcrow GenCon reveals via Hoopoe earlier this week. Well, those who were eager for more from this 32mm scale Fantasy world don't have long to wait for new figures as there are more landing in September from Corvus Belli!

War Rig #1 - Warcrow

War Rig // Warcrow

Leading the way, we have the powerful manned mechanical unit known as the War Rig. This is essentially a Sci-Fi TAG from Infinity but dropped into the world of Warcrow! The Hegemony of Embersig will be able to call on this devastating and powerful mobile fortress.

War Rig #2 - Warcrow

War Rig // Warcrow

It comes with a pilot who is sat in the chest of the War Rig and then a Gunner who has got a more luxurious space to plonk his butt at the back. In-game, the War Rig is a powerful piece of artillery that your enemy will ignore at their peril. It has the ability to unleash "fire breath" to devastate enemy units and when that fails, the hammer comes into use.

I think this looks brilliant and it's good to see BIG stuff making its way into Warcrow so soon into its lifetime. We've already seen trolls and more for the other factions so it's good that the Hegemony are getting something equally hefty.

Silent Woodland Protectors

If the War Rig is too big and brash for you, then how about the Protectors of the Forest for the Sÿenann Elves, sneaking their way through dappled glades seeking those who dare to step into the realm.

Protectors of the Forest - Warcrow

Protectors of the Forest // Warcrow

Another set of brilliant miniatures representing the "Wood Elves" of the Warcrow Fantasy universe. All the poses look fantastic and I like that we're still seeing that leaf armour/attire motif carrying through the miniatures in this range. They feel like they are begging to be painted to represent different seasons, with each covering Spring, Summer, Autumn and then Winter.

In-game, they act as a hit-and-run unit. They are cheap and you can include three of them in your army. Their ranged attacks don't do a lot of damage but they can exert pressure and add stress to the enemy whenever they manage to land a hit. Once they have finished their attack, they can then use a nearby forest or Nemoroso Ally to escape, fleeing for cover so they can strike again from a position of strength.

All of these miniatures can be picked up in the month of September, giving you new ways to expand your collection.

Have you decided which of the Warcrow factions you're going to be fighting for yet?
