Firelock Games Tease New Fantasy Game, Brigands Of Arja [Update]

Firelock Games has teased a new Fantasy miniatures game that is in the works and coming to Kickstarter soon. Are you intrigued to know more about Brigands of Arja?
Brigands of Arja // Firelock Games
We've not got much to go on so far, although we've seen a great preview of the miniatures and the theme behind what Firelock are doing. You're going to be diving into an awesome game of "mythological beasts and barbarians", which then finds itself set on a "lost and hopeless island". I am getting some neat, classic sword & sorcery vibes from this!
Serpent Battle // Brigands of Arja
Cyclops Battle // Brigands of Arja
Forest Creature // Brigands of Arja
In a recent video, Discourse Miniatures talked a bit more about the game, mentioning some of the monsters you'll be facing as well as the setting itself. You'll be facing off against each other with warbands in head-to-head game modes as well as with solo and cooperative play. I quite like the sound of the game, especially as a scenario is meant to play out very quickly and you could get a campaign done in a day. Intriguing!
Are you going to be keeping an eye out for more from Brigands of Arja?

Oh that’s the video where a wild @avernos appears at 4:53 for some weird reason
I didn’t notice that when I watched until just now…
Yeah, and a weird story just before him appearing XD Weird things.
more common than you think!
reading the news article was a bit tricky.
I love Firelock Games, but they are starting to have a lot of different irons in a lot of different fires. For such a small company it could get dangerous if they become overextended, particularly if crowdfunding is involved. I just hope they are careful.
Port Royal was pretty much screaming for a more fantastical variant.
And I bet that this is what they were hinting at when people asked for that kind of stuff. 😀
There’s no reason you can’t add Zombie Pirates to Port Royal
Sounds a bit like Frostgrave with a little bit of that Archipelagos (I never know how to write the name properly)?
The solo and coop modes sound like fun. Looks like a low model count – so hopefully easy to pick up.
