Take A First Run At Satyr Art’s 28mm Oldhammer Mountain Giant

The first of the miniatures from Satyr Art Studio for 2026 is a big one. They are currently holding a first-run sale for their new Classic Mountain Giant, a perfect touch of Oldhammer awesomeness on the tabletop for Fantasy wargames.

This is a big ol' fellow done in the Oldhammer style for use in your games like classic Warhammer Fantasy Battles and beyond. He stands at 60mm tall and should be one hell of a treat to paint. He looks like you've just really annoyed him and probably disturbed his well-earned rest after a bit of plundering.
In the style of Satyr Art, the miniature is really nicely sculpted and the character oozing from the figure is great. You could have some fun doing some intricate tattoo work on his bare skin, especially that rather barrel-like stomach.

A beautiful miniature, but I don’t remember any art of this. Not that it matters, I would get their ranges if they were not in the USA.
I think this is one of their inspired by ones rather than based on a particular piece of art.
Definitely not buying US now.
@grantinvanman Is postage and duty tough for Canadians buying from the US as well? I buy a lot of 3rd Warmachine from Canada, and the postage is reasonable.
Is it a giant or your average pub patron? XD
add in a few “Spice” zombies to the mix as well for a true UK pub experience (especially around Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester) 😀
