WiP Games and Miniatures has already expanded their range of Historical wargaming rules using On Bloody Ground to another period and theatre of war. You can now head on over to their webstore to pick up the Sengoku Jidai and Imjin War version of their rules.

This set of rules encompasses the most tumultuous era of Japanese history and the conflict between warring states. This was the era of the Three Great Unifiers: Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu, which ultimately led to the invasion of Joseon Korea and a possible pathway to the invasion of Ming China. This was a period of unique military tactics and ideas and the rise of the Righteous Army.
This is another of their period-specific books, which introduces new rules and army lists for use with On Bloody Ground. You'll find Army Lists within for the Early Warring Clans, Late Warring Clans, Ikkō-Ikki, The Joseon Dynasty and The Ming Dynasty.
We always hear good reviews about the On Bloody Ground rules and I would warrant that there's a set of rules in their collection for you and the Historical period you collect. The focus is on quick, deadly 28mm scale fighting, at scale so it should tick a lot of boxes for folks.

So many figures from 1st Corps, The Perrys and files from Wargames Atlantic are right for this.
WiP are certainly covering a fair range of historical periods with their books. I’d be interested to know how much the rule system varies from period to period.
