Perry Preview More Spanish Guerrillas Coming Soon!

Perry Miniatures might have already released some of their Napoleonic Spanish Guerrillas as part of their Skirmish in a Box but you will soon be able to buy a much bigger set of these 28mm figures. They recently showed off some previews of the 3Ups!

Napoleonic Spanish Guerrillas // Perry Miniatures

This will be part of a brand new frame being added to the guerrillas set, which will mean that you'll then have a full boxed set of Napoleonic Spanish Guerrillas in their own right. There will be five more torsos and legs on the frame, as well as loads of arms and heads, which will be entirely interchangeable with the previous frame released in the Skirmish in a Box set.

Spanish Guerilla 3Ups // Perry Miniatures

As a reference, if you've never heard of the term before, a 3up is a version of the miniature sculpted at a larger scale, which is then shrunk down and chopped up to fit onto the plastic frames that you eventually get in your boxed sets. They are great for testing out your poses and designs before getting stuck into the nitty-gritty.

As you'll have noted above, the set comes with plenty of guerrillas in civilian clothing as well as stolen uniforms and such from the enemies that they have fought. You can also turn these miniatures into Basque Guerrillas if you prefer.

These miniatures are now being sent off to Renedra so they can go through the process of becoming a nice plastic boxed set in the near future. There is no nailed-down release date for the Spanish Guerrilla but I can't imagine that it will be too far off. It will be neat to see these popping up in collections, especially in fun skirmishes against those dastardly French!

The Perry Miniatures sculpts are always packed with detail and are a great first port of call for someone seeking to dive into Historical wargaming. You can't get much better when it comes to detail, especially with their Napoleonic range.
