Look Out For A Relics: Armistice League Kickstarter Soon!
December 19, 2012 by brennon
A flyer seems to have appeared advertising for players to join in the Relics: Armistice League which should be heading to Kickstarter soon with Tor Gaming. Check out the news below...
As you can see the Britanan Team seems to be the one getting the main focus this time around with a team composition above. It's always interesting to see some variants appearing for a world of miniatures, especially to do with Fantasy Football.
The Kickstarter should be hitting this week so watch out for it.
What's your thoughts on it?

IMHO it will be better if it were another new faction for relics like the cthulu guys that we saw or similar. If Tor Gaming diverge too much now with other side games it might not get a very strong support.
They will probably success and get far more than the first goal for sure, but it doesn’t seem the best idea to me…
Hey Vondrasky,
I can understand what you are saying and would agree with you about ‘side games’ except in this case there are a few points to consider:
1) Releasing a new faction for Relics would mean we have 5 to support, this could put a strain on our ability to put out products at a speed the players want. We can only produce x per per, this needs to be spread across the existing factions. Add in a new faction and the pool is diluted.
2) With R:AL, we do not need to worry about a continuous release cycle like with Relics, as once the kickstarter is completed and the Britanan team is produced, we are done with the Britanan teams for a good while (couple of years maybe). Other teams can be released via KS projects to not put a strain on our cashflow.
3) Every penny made on R:AL will go into Relics, building us up to a position where we could realistically support more factions without a drop in output for any of them. This means Relics is taking finance from more than one stream and is not having to support itself solely.
So, this is being done to allow us more freedom with Relics. I know if may not seem like that on the face of it, but it does.
Cheers
Gavin.
