Victrix’s Medieval Crossbowmen & Archers Now On Pre-Order

Victrix Miniatures are now taking pre-orders for their new 28mm plastic set for the Medieval Crossbowmen & Archers. This was put up for pre-order just before Christmas but you can now spend some of that hard-earned Christmas money from family on some lovely toy soldiers.

This is a thirty-figure set which contains enough components for you to make twenty Crossbowmen and ten Archers. As you might have guessed, with this being a Victrix set, you will get plenty of arm and head options so you can build your miniatures differently, creating a diverse force for use on the tabletop in skirmish games and mass battle affairs.

The miniatures would work for those taking on the Crusades but also for battles happening across Europe during the Late 12th Century through to the Late 13th Century. Because arms and armour didn't change massively between European powers, you could use these as English, French, Spanish, Germans but also as the Scots, Welsh and Irish.

With many people still riding the Medieval train in wargaming, playing various games set during the period, this will be a welcome addition to the hobbyist's collections. I like that you have plenty of swords to strap to belts alongside various arms for the archers holding arrows on them, so they can fire swiftly.
