Wargames Atlantic’s Plans To Expand First Empires Range
September 30, 2025 by brennon
Wargames Atlantic has previewed more when it comes to their plans for the First Empires range in plastic. Currently, a lot of the range is available as STL files from Atlantic Digital but there are plans to start turning some of those kits into hard plastic sets for 28mm wargaming.

As it stands, there are something like thirty-plus digital sets available from Atlantic Digital over on MyMiniFactory and until now, physical options have only been available through Strange Plastic. That's a wealth of sets that cover not just the big hitters of Ancient warfare but also lots of the less well-known armies of the time period.
Well, plans are now firing up to venture into getting a lot of those First Empires miniatures available as part of hard plastic sets, starting out with the New Kingdom Egyptian Archers and Spearmen.

This will then be followed up with more Egyptian sets covering the likes of Chariots, which are such a focal point of Egyptian armies on the tabletop. You will then also see new plastic sets for the likes of the Sea Peoples, the Hitties and even more from the Trojan War!
As it stands, Wargames Atlantic are seeking to have a new plastic kit for this range coming out every four to six weeks, which is a pretty hefty target but one that will be welcome, I imagine! Could you see yourself venturing into Ancient wargaming with some new plastic miniatures from Wargames Atlantic?

I’m really looking forward to seeing Egyptians and Sea People being released in plastic at 28mm.
Well done WGA!
See the Sea People!
I am more excited about the warring states Chinese finally getting molded and boxed. Though these are good too.
