Lannister
And I did the same to some Lannister models, finishing touch and some basing.

Sandor Clegane aka The Hound
Maester Pycelle
The High Sparrow
Lannister Pyromancers
When in war, a Commander must take advantage of all of the technology at their disposal. Minor breakthroughs can provide a slight edge on the battlefield, but when a discovery like Wildfire is made, it’s enough to turn the tide of a conflict.
With the Pyromancers Unit Box for A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game, Lannister Commanders will be able to take advantage of ‘the substance,’ a volatile, green liquid that sticks to armor and burns the flesh inside. It is a powerful tool on the battlefield, but wielding it can be dangerous, and mishandling it can be disastrous to their own troops. However, it’s worth the risks when they see the panic Wildfire can induce in the opposing forces. The Alchemists’ Guild is about to make its mark on the war.
For this month’s painting competition I painted some Pyromancers.
I tried a new technique I hadn’t done before, OSL with my airbrush. I think it came out quite nice.
After taking the first pictures and shutting of the lights I noticed the fluor green is also ‘glow in the dark’
Gold Cloaks and Activation tokens
This month’s painting competition theme was City, so I decided to paint my Gold Cloaks as they are the defenders of the city of King’s Landing (including the Red Keep) and the enforcers of the law, sworn only to the Iron Throne.
I also finished my activation tokens for the Lannister faction.
Let’s see what next month’s theme is and maybe I can reduce my pile of opportunity a little bit more.
It has been a while....
So after almost 4 years I have an update for this project. My inspiration came through this month’s painting competition theme: Mountain.
So I painted Sir Gregor Clegane, aka The Mountain that rides.
It realy is an huge model compared to the other models.
It also inspired me to finish two extra units, The Mountain’s Men and Lannisters Crossbowmen.
I hope to keep my mojo up and finish some more models. I have over 400 ASOIF models in my pile of opportunity, so lots to do.
Bolton Basterd's Girls
I’ve been painting some ASOIF lately. I finished the Bolton Basterd’s Girls.
Recently I also bought the Free Folk starter set and started painting them. In a couple of weeks I think they will be finished.
Update
In the last couple of years I have been painting on and off but I realised I haven’t been updating this blog. So this week I made some pictures of the finished models.
I also have a couple of other units painted up for 70%, so no pictures yet.
First hobby in a long time
After a hiatus of almost a year I hope to be hobbying a lot more in the near future. Yesterday I finally received my Kickstarter pledge, and it sure is a lot.
By starting this project I hope to be motivated enough to keep painting and posting my progress.
1st up is the Iron throne
Only 205 minis to go….
