Operation Completed

So besides the Profiteers, I also got the tree-elf things done.

I’m going to confess, these Dark Elves (or whatever they are known as these days) look cool if somewhat over the top Goth-Emos, hence why I took the photo in the Australian afternoon winter sun. So they didn’t burst into flames

With a couple of Warcry Warbands already on the books I decided to turn to the starter set. After the toss of a coin the Untamed Beasts were up.

For those following along at home, so far this year (241 days of it gone) I have painted 354 28mm miniatures. Not bad going from my perspective

So the handgunners and swordsmen were already done quite some time ago. I decided to add a horde of flagellants, movement trays and 3 artillery pieces. I also added the old Count model with plans to add a steam tank and new Count next.

So I haven’t been idol. I have in fact painted nearly 6 warbands for Shadespire. I’ll finish the next 3 this weekend. Until then, here’s the first 3.

So whilst I’ll probably never play Warhammer Quest Silvertower, I do intend painting it all. With only the familiars and spider-goblins to go, its a real possibility to be complete by the end of the year! (I just won’t say which year just yet).

So myself and a mate have been playing Warcry! of late. 2 months ago GW put a list for the Cities of Sigmar in WD. That was all the excuse I needed to break out my Middenheimers and kick seven shades of shite out of the chaos loving Corvus Cabal!
