Let's play settlement dash
After escaping the vault and finding dogmeat our survivor is chased by raiders to the outskirts of a settlement. All they have to do is make it in one piece
Sniffing out a raider dogmeat once again does damage before being ganged up on by a pair of pychos with wrenches and taken outFailed print scatter
Let's play escape the vault
A lone vault dweller decides to leave the vault but security have other ideas. The lone survivor starts with no equipment and he's to search crates to randomly find gear
After grabbing a 10mm pistol they head through the vault only to spot security moving in. A random event brings on an informer who spots enemy models for our hero.
We were using force lists from the awesome tales book which had three vault dwellers attacking the survivor but the list gives one a shotgun but they don't have the relevant skill on their card to use one. Thus confused us so we just went for the baton attack
Security start to converge on our hero so they desperately break out if combat and thanks to gaining some quick actions make a break for it
Vault security block the escape at a doorway thanks to a slide action in melee. Unfortunately one guard fires into the combat killing his comrade and leaving the door open
After escaping the vault we move onto scenario 2 where our lone wanderer finds dogmeat the hound under fire from raiders in a scrap yard.
Dogmeat did most of the damage this game. The raiders had no chance. The fallout game has always looked a bit complicated with its mass of symbols and odd dice but these scenarios ease you into it. You can make the fame as complicated as you want. The random events and dangers add a nice twist to the game play an by the end of the sec scenario we had figured the rules out. I font mind a level if complexity in a game with just a few minis. It's what makes this level if skirmish game interesting. I look forward to playing more.
