About the Project
This is my project to build a copy of the space hulk boardgame. Firstly this game is what got me interested in gaming, I sadly never owned it but I remember one Christmas seeing it a shop when I was a young lad, dropping massive hints to my mum and dad 'that it looked really interesting'. Sadly the 25th came but space hulk didn't arrive but my interest in miniatures did. Fast forward 25 years or so and a friend at my local club found a copy in a charity shop for £2 and gave it to me. It has been sitting on a shelf for about 9months but this challenge has given be the excuse to get building.

The space hulk part 3
I dry fitted the side panels from the Hurst molds. Once I was happy with them I glued them in place adding a extra decorative piece to cover the top joins. 
Next step is to undercoat, paint and repeat The space hulk part 2
It's time to start making the space I hulk. I decided to start with a straight corridor. The picture shows the corridor tile from the game and three bits of thick card. 
First I scored the side panels to make two right angle pieces
I then glued the other piece of card to the bottom of the tile and glued the right angles also. 
Then I added two angled pieces of card to add some shape to the corridor
The space hulk part 1
I layed out the map for scenerio 1 from the book, the plan is to build up the wall sections on the existing corridor pieces
I have start using my Hurst art molds to make the wall sections. 
The pieces are full of detail and I am using plaster of Paris to make the sectionsGenestealers part 2
The genestealers have had their first coats of colour, i am planning to work on the lighter shades next and details followed by some quickshade
For reference I have undercoated the miniatures black. For the flesh I have used vallejo game colour heavy violet and the teeth, claws and spikes are ushabti bone, I particularly like the Warboss green tonguesTerminators part 1
My terminators arrived from ebay, I got a bargain as each terminator cost me 50p. I have under coated them black and started painting them up as the blood angels. There will be 2 squads of 5. 1 captain in each with a second in command, a flamer and two other with bolters.
WIP of my captain the models came with no helmets but the fluff of the space hulk rules say that the space hulk as no atmosphere so I swapped out the heads and added some extras from my bits box. Doors and Scenery part 2
In the sedition wars box you get 3 types of doors which I have primed white. 
All the doors are primed and ready for some paint. 
The box also includes some scatter terrain which I have also primed white. 
The final contents of the box are alien infestation themed pieces. I have primed them black and will paint them like them in the same theme as the genestealers. Doors and Scenery part 1
I have had this box of scenery for a while it came brand new off an auction on ebay. 
I am going to use the doors and scatter terrain for the game. Genestealers part 1
The genestealers have had another undercoat to get them ready for a new paint scheme
I really like the resin bases from gamelink2012 on ebay. I prefer them compared to adding flock or other textures when making scifi models.
