Pottery (Update - Now Painted)
Whilst I admit it is a little sad I was quite excited to get the printed pottery off the printer and set it around the houses.
Hopefully get it painted and stuck on today.
Pottery painting done and i must say i’m rather pleased with how its come out. Next up i’m painting the locals to make it come alive a little more.
At this point its not about the war gaming, i just want it to look nice on my shelf where it will be likely sitting for some time.
Hovels finished at last
Today I woke up at 4.30am and thought sod it im going to finish those huts.
A blast with coraz brown spray and a dry brush with a mocha colour and that was the wood done.
Bit of green and sand colours dappled on the roof and calling that done too.
Added some tufts and used the flock box to add some flock.
One thing I do need to add is some pottery which I found online and 3d printed. It’s drying currently so should be a quick paint job and addition for them to completely finished.
This ties in with the other project I have running ti finish off the infamy army thats been sat half done for way longer than I originally thought.
It's been a while, 5 years in fact
Well I didn’t think it had been that long but time flies when you have children and are constantly sleep deprived.
In an effort to finish some of the armies and projects I have im back to the gauls.
I started a new project for the update but also finished the buildings today which really Sat in this project so here I shall post the updates.
Seeing the state I left the project in I should really post an update on dogmatix and cacophonix.
Calling the Duo done
Calling these two done now (except the basing) tried some nmm on them but its not turned out great, happy enough with the overall result though. Onto something new for a bit, maybe pimping out my old Lizardmen for whatever fantasy wargame i have a hankering to play.
Update on the Gauls
Below are the paints ive used to do the flesh work, doing a 50:50 mix to gradually build up the colours to the highest highlight of elf flesh
