About the Project
Hey guys, so 2020 Spring Hobby Challenge is here and I am ready to get some minis painted. Got the usual storage area full of never started projects and the odd partially done ones. Rather than bog myself down in large forces, I have decided to attack the skirmish style games. Hope you guys enjoy and any questions or comments please drop them in and I will do my best to answer them for you. So got my shades on, my hair is looking good, AK is loaded, my new Adidas tracksuit is freshly ironed and I'm wearing my best flip flops, let's do this people!

This Project is Completed
A good start, cleaned, primed and ready for paint!
So who are the minis?
I have Andrea, Billy & Ben from the Prison Sniper booster
Tyrese and Raymond from the Prison Advisor booster
And of course, a couple of walkers too.
The plan is to use some contrasts to see where the light and dark points are and then a little extra work to clean them up with layer paints and shades. I want to average around 2-2:30 hrs per mini max for paint and then will collectively base them at the end. I wish to record each one and stick it on the YouTube channel I have set up for myself called TheAverageMiniaturePainter.
So I guess we break out the brushes tomorrow!
One miniature done.....lots to go!

I have taken to sets of photos to show the flat colours before the wash, admittedly the Contrasts paints have already given the mini some depth and then the second photos are after the wash. To me, this is the difference between comic style strong colours and toned down more real-world colours. Each has their place and its great that it is so easy now to do.
Cheers for reading guys and happy hobbying everyone!
