About the Project

After reliving those saturday evenings from my child hood watching episodes of Robin of Sherwood I got curious about doing a Robin Hood game. As a Nottingham local I've had a love hate relationship with the legend. Loved it as a kid and hated it as an adult because I had to talk to tourists in the worse costume imaginanable. Now I've gone back to loving it thanks to the Robin of Sherwood TV series. The Clannad theme the wonderful hair, Ray winstons cockney wood dweller and the amazing amount of guards who get butchered every episode. This should be a small project but an enjoyable one for me and a break from the norm.

Finally picked up some villains for the outlaws to fight. In the TV show being a guard for the sheriff of Nottingham was a dangerous career as they died in droves. I have 3 with crossbows and 3 with swords and shields. I also have a captain and Guy of Gisborn. The Sheriff Im not sure ill use as a leader but as an objective as he usually weasels his way out of actual combat. I will try and stick to the show for colour inspirations and shield designs. Finally picked up some villains for the outlaws to fight. I have previously played Ospreys EnGarde rules with musketeers again using the opportunity to recreate films from my youth. It worked for the musketeers so should work for the merry men. So instead of the cardinals guard I'll need some Norman's.I have previously played Ospreys EnGarde rules with musketeers again using the opportunity to recreate films from my youth.
