So the spring clean challenge is finishing and I have not painted all the epic models. In fact I have bought more and hope to get more. I have really enjoyed painting all these models, some that I have been scared to put paint on since buying them as a small lad, so I will be continuing.
I would like to thank everybody who has looked and voted on my project. I have revelled in all the projects that have been entered in the challenge (as well all the others that are not) and they have encourage me while doing mine own. Good luck to everyone and congratulations to the winners.
Warlords done
Metal work painted silver then a nuln oil wash . The warlords got a extra purple tone wash and a hightlight of squid pink. The seals and leg icon were coated in bonewhite then a of coat skeleton bone, flesh tears red and warp lightning green. The flames were then put on with a white coat then iyanden yellow then gryph-hound orange. The bases then got a coat of goblin green and then a dry of gold yellow followed by a wash of light tone. Then some clump foliage was glued on then some varnish was applied.
Titans primed
Both titans primed grey then white from above. Followed by warlord purple on armour then 50/50 mix warlord purple squid pink from above. Then started with the silver on the newer titan for it to fall in half as I had not glued It at its waist so tip of the day glue your model together handling!.
Next up an the curse of the spring clean
Some titans to prime and hopefully get finished before Sunday. With spring clean challenge coming to an end and still having most of the imperial forces to paint I have been distracted by eBay and saw something I always wanted as a kid.
So I have bought the Titan legion box. The curse of the spring clean always leading to more models. It is all there, but there is a bit of water damage.
So the project will be continuing as I work through this stuff. Only have the Hive war box set to get now for a complete set (have printed of the rules just the cards and the box). Will be trying to flatten some of the building as there is some warping. So any tips would be great?
Warhounds part 2
Metal work painted silver then a nuln oil wash the barrel ends and the plasma got a few coats of bonewhite then the plasma coil got a coat of warp lightning and the gun got a gold yellow and hot orange blend with a red wash on the end. the turbo laser barrel ends got a coat of talassar blue. The flames were then put on with a white coat then iyanden yellow then gryph-hound orange. The bases then got a coat of goblin green and then a dry of gold yellow followed by a wash of light tone. Then some clump foliage was glued on then some varnish was applied.
