About the Project
I love bolt action, but never play it. I have a gaming group, but transporting everything has become very impractical. So I want to try it in 15mm. Here's my Project so far.

Rule changes
I've tested bolt action in centimeters and with a few different setups and have come to the conclusion that it works best with the movement halved and the gun ranges unchanged. It feels like the guns are less hobbled and it has the unforseen plus that having squads in vehicles becomes far more important. I also have tested allowing more vehicles in lists which works very well at this scale.

I’ve made the boards so you can change the order so the hill is at one end or in the middle. I’ve got ideas for 2 more boards that would add options, one with a beach and one with a river/bridge. I will 3d print a statue for the town square, my Hitler mini is just a stand in. Foam blocks to be replaced with walls/hedges gardens and shell holes to be added. Church to be raised on to a small hill.

Starting to layout my buildings, I have another ten and a church for the 3rd board. Will be trying new things with two texture rollers for the pavement and cobblestone roads. These buildings are from empires at war.Testing out PSC 15mm germans.
Tried basing a few Germans from Plastic soldier company. My terrible phone makes them look worse than they are but Im quite happy with the base sizes. I will colour code the bases with different colours for the LMGs and other NCO etc to make it easier to tell who's who from distance.should have done this before the grass and bushes.
Had to strip back the edges so I could add wooden sides to the board to protect the foam. Yes I should have done this at the start when I first did the foam. A learning experience!Got some grass down
Got ahead of my self and started putting down grass. A mistake I feel.
