I've tested bolt action in centimeters and with a few different setups and have come to the conclusion that it works best with the movement halved and the gun ranges unchanged. It feels like the guns are less hobbled and it has the unforseen plus that having squads in vehicles becomes far more important. I also have tested allowing more vehicles in lists which works very well at this scale.

What do you use for bases?
Any more infos on size changes etc?

I would love to start such a project myself.

Thanks, I started using thin mdf bases but I found a supplier of 0.9mm laserboard hdf. I have a diode laser so I have started making my own super thin bases. The size changes above are the only ones I’ve made, it plays very well.

I mean, who doesn’t have a diode laser? Mine are attached to my fleet of sharks’ heads, however. 🦈
