Weird Stalk bits

I painted up the vine-like roots in the same way as the ones on the pineapples. For the top of the bulbous bits I used Sigvald Burgundy, for the lower part of the bulb I used Creed Camo. For the centre stalk I wanted to tie them in to the fungus trees so I used Snakebite Leather.

For the fan toppers I used Creed Camo on the leafy parts. For the fan I used Kroxigor Scales.

Fungoid trees

I started with a zenithal prime again. I did the bark/flesh in snakebite leather. For the caps on the mushroom parts I used Xereus purple, Blood Angels red  Fleshtearers red and Sigvald burgundy.

Giant pineapple ferns

I started by painting the “fruit” with volupus  pink contrast. I gave them 2 coats for a more even look. I then overbrushed the leaves with white to brighten them back up. I then went over the teeth with imperial fist yellow and the leaves with creed camo.  I repeated this on the leaves on the base and the topper.

On the base there’s these little club things. I imagined these were runners on a spider plant so I painted them in the same way as the body. For the club things on the topper I used frostheart to represent flowers.

So I started by cleaning up the mould lines and by widening the magnet holes with a drill. Some of the holes had shrunk a bit so I needed to widen them. I then added magnets (making sure they were all oriented the same way).

Next I started to do a zenithal prime on some of the pieces, but had to stop because the rain started.
