IMPRESSIVE!!
Amazing, more than I was expecting.
Epic!! I am very excited, it looks great. And the video its amaizing i cant wait until the 6/8/12
yeah,heheh! toha toha toha!
So excited…I just peed a little
MMmmmm Campaign
Yes please! Bring on Monday.
This is not epic people! It’s bigger than epic it’s the most epicest news this week! I’m looking so forward to this.
I love this game!!!
Awesome! This is totally getting me to paint some more stuff and squeeze in more games!
Now this was a well made video! Like Lucas said, this is totally getting me to paint some infinity!
Holy Crap – THAT is a promo video GW
Damn – torn on my next purchase, Carnavale or Infinity (or Dystopian Wars) …. no loss really they’ll be on my Chrimbo list – just after the bit that says “No ruttin’ socks this year!!!!!”
Drool….
So in short:
– new rules with lots of added stuff for existing minis
– new sectorial army (for which faction?)
– new race (or is it the same as the new sectorial army?)
That should be it.
Aleph, Assault subsection (also known as the Greek sectorial)
If they are for Aleph I am thrilled, for I can add something new to my army.
But going by the picture of the elf-looking one on the main page, the shoulder sign doesn’t seem to be Aleph like.
That’s because it’s not Aleph. It’s not the same color scheme, not the same design.
The video shows, as you yourself said, a new sectorial force for Aleph AND a new faction. It’s not mutually exclusive 🙂
That means more new minis, more choices to be made and even more suffering for my wallet 🙁
… as opposed to what ? Less cool stuff ? 🙂
If the guy with the hammer is Ajax…. well I am sold.
As oppose to free time and low income 🙂
But there is always a way to get some for infinity.
And even if that isn’t Ajax I’m sold since it looks so awesome.
I’ve been looking forward to this, campaign rule makes infinity perfect as far as I’m concerned.
I like the spec ops guys , and the tohaa who have an element of evil about them, although perhaps its just the way the faces are painted.
Hope the 2nd infinity week is as good as the first one guys!
Also forgot to add.
Note to GW and Forgeworld (and sort of to Privateer Press).
Thats how to make a promotional video that makes people want to see more.
Wow effect just made me sitting speechless for a longer moment.
roll on Monday
Well, I was told there was going to be more Infinity stuff. And this sure seems it! I’m a very happy man-boy 🙂
How do you type the sound of a braingasm. Because I just made that noise.
The only thing i don’t understand is why i’m not playing this game… I need to fix that.
Yes Vond, yes you do
Oh my aching wallet, yet another army that I’ll have to get.
AWESOME !!!!!
Where can I get that book? Is not at their site.
AAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH !!!!!!!!
Brother G
The trailer left me wondering that are the campaign and the special ops going to be two separate things? Most likely the campaign can be play just as a series of different missions, but there was a campaign experience tree with the mission flowchart. Which would indicate that your team gains some experience along the way. The spec ops roster seemed quite comprehencive, almost RPG like. It would be cool (and most likely) if you could use the spec ops outside the campaign.
I think this is going to be the most important miniature release this year. Yes, even 40K 6th edition will be left in the shadows of Infinity (just my humble opinion based on the games I play 😉 )
Quite possibly! could well over shadow 40K! lets hope so so the 40K boyz feel the need to up their game a bit / a whole load (perhaps get old GW to sort out their extortionate prices too if they have some serious rivalry)
The Spec ops is the only “levelable” miniature in the campaigns, it is supposed to be an mini avatar, representing the player, the rest of the force cannot be “advanced” in the campaigns, but, it is rumored you could spend XP for more generic force related bonuses if you want.
I wouldn’t mind spec ops in the normal games, but they will probably either come with prefixed gear, or at the basic entry.
Another thing to note on the spec ops is that the rumors say he cannot be the LT.
At last! an alternative to Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K that isn’t a poor and thinly veiled rip off of the 40K universe and imagery. This might actually be worth investing time money and effort in and the models are almost too beautiful to put a paint brush to for fear of mucking up such beautiful sculpture work! You gotta ask your self is it worth investing in a whole new 60 squid of 40K miniatures or start something that’s a little fresher and more interesting and dare I use the S word? (gotta love the Manga stylings of these bwaaaaz !)
I gave up GW long time ago and only collect single mins for collection matters.
Otherwise Infinity if quite worth every penny, second and joule of effort 🙂
You could easily get a tournament ready Infinity force with 60 quid. So…GO FOR IT!!!
Just one?
With 60 pounds you could get two, or one with really many options.
What?! Challenge! Prove it. 🙂
Admittedly I was thinking of 250 lists, because this is what I regularly play, but the 300 should be considered the standard, so 300 it is.
Made a few 300 lists but they were 38-48 pounds according to Maelstrom, without any additional discount, so I would say you can easily get a tournament army with lots of extras for under 60, but, for two it goes over it.
not the bad one reffering to what a dawgy leaves behind but the sexy one
I’m sorry but I like Infinity as much as 40k, I know that they are completely different and we shouldn’t compare.
Infinity already is a rival to GW games, no doubt on that. The only thing that GW steps one higher are the thousands of stories that they have for all their games. That CB doesn’t have yet.
Brother G
PS. Keep it cool and ; does anybody knows when the damn book is gonna be sold?
Underwhelmed. More interested in Dropzone Commander, the Deep or just more Carnevale and 40k 6th.
Ah, the typical misconception of the online commentaries: If I can comment, I have to comment, even if I have no interest in the topic whatsoever and I am purposely blind to great efforts which do not concern my interests (in this case: the trailer).
Because my opinion is IMPORTANT! I am a critic! Hear me!!
*ahem*
🙂 Sorry, for once I could not resist.
Personally i do not have problem with negative comments, but they do indeed beg a simple explanation, underwhelmed, ok, but why, no need for an essay, just some points, aesthetic? not fun of skirmish games? not a fun of sci fi? something or a combination of reasons must be the reason.
Looks awesome, cant wait to see what you guys have in store for Infinity week mk 2. I can see Spec Ops taking Infinity to the next level, cant wait to get my hands on this book, any ideas on a release date?
How about the next live rounds being a game of infinity?
Wargaming wise this has been one stonkingly brilliant year and it’s only August.
Campaign rule book for infinity just adds to the fun.
I’m really looking forward to next week now to see what BoW is going to do.
I’ll like to see that too. I’m desperate to see what’s in the book.
Curiosity is killing me. 🙁
Brother G
No sir, not exciting. Well, the new race that is. Compared to when Aleph was introduced, these are nowhere near as interesting and just look a tad too derivative.
Amazing!!!!! I can´t wait to see tohaas in my hands!!!
So the new book is named
Campaign: Paradiso
I can only expect many great things from that.
Also some offers have been spotted on the Infinity webstore, including a prepurchase of the new book with a model of Gogomarlene (Fluff celebrity reporter) as an exclusive bonus.
That’s actually a really good idea. That way you don’t feel compelled to buy whole armys of miniatures, not all of which you like just for the sake of bulking out the army.
Just pre-oredered the book and the Yu Jing started packs. Woo hoo, or should that be Yuu Hoo 😛
Seriously if anybody has any advice on Yu jing it will be much appreciated.
Hopefully you will get to see some advise in videos this week.
N.B. the S word being, “sexy,” not the other one reffering to an animal’s bodily waste deposits just incase any one was under any sort of missunderstanding….
Gotta love a sexy minniature (not one that arouses certain parts that other beers cannot reach , just one that makes you say “Oh my gosh, that’s a beautifully sculpted mini! “
Wohoo!! More Infinity!
Really looking forward to this, always nice to see a game like this further its universe that the community has come to love so much. Can’t wait to see the miniatures of the Tohaa in person as well as delving into more of their background story.
awesome!
