Love deadzone, so this is loosly base on it. No ks but a friend of mine backed it.

Looks like a very fun skirmish game.
I didn’t back this project because I had run out of Kickstarter budget. I was tempted by the Judge Dredd figure though. Also, this game needs more cows. Possibly on fire.

The temptation to build a 3×3 compatible Moe’s Tavern, Kwikee Mart, etc. is strong.

I’m so stoked for this game.
It’s the only Mantic kickstarters I’ve missed since I began backing them and only due to a lack of funds at the time. Looks great.
I’m waiting patiently on get my BIG STOMPY ROBOTS with shrink rays. Very clad i backed this project now so lets hurry up and send out the pledges.

Had a demo game at Claymore and loved it. Instantly wanted to play it again. It’s lighter than Deadzone but more frantic, humourous and with a lot more carnage while still keeping a tactical element.

I didn’t get in on this kickstarter but did the Dreadball one and lo and behold they have done a Martian team for Dreadball.
First some one said that a Mars Attacks game was on the way..
I thought that could be a cool game.
Then I found out Mantic games were making it , I thought it WILL be a cool game.
I just never realized how awesome it would end up .
Ronnie and all the folks as Mantic Games deserve a massive amount of success with this excellent product.
I think this Game really exemplifies what Mantic are best at – it’s fun, it’s not too serious and has a good sense of humour, it’s simple (in a good way) and has a good miniatures. That 50’s pulp SF style is something Mantic do extremely well IMO.

I did not see the painted burning cows the first time, but in this video I saw the first time that they painted the fire wrong, it is inside out.
Played it at the Mantic open day, good game.

Got a Blood on the Streets coming (plus card so the Martians can join Deadzone :-). Can’t wait. And after this weekend – no more mantic KS to drool over (for a short time, I hope).
my 8 years old son is excited to get this and I can’t wait to play it with him!!!

Great stuff, fantastic fun games, so many options. If I had the game I would also look to apply in other dimensions! Imagen Marsian’s in steampunk!
Kept an eye on this during the Kickstarter, but never did back it, just not that in to the IP. That said, I was sorely tempted to pledge just for the marines and even more by the Tiger Corp. had they added Dinosaurs Attack as an expansion, I would have broke!
I haven’t tried any of Mantic’s games yet, but I like their miniatures, and the videos I’ve seen make Mars Attacks! and Deadzone look fun.
I used to love the mars attacks movie, would love to try the game.
This looks great. Maybe I should have gotten the full game instead of just some add ons and scenery.
of all the kickstarters that Mantic has done, this one had the least appeal to me. However looking at the video makes me want to give it a go. I always enjoy videos with Ronnie talking about his games. His passion for his products is captivating and comes across as sincere. Well there goes more money to the Mantic Tower.
I pre-ordered it and the expansion and can’t wait for the burning cows. Oooooh, roasted beast.
I’m looking forward to seeing the whole Mars Attacks weekend, can’t say that I paid too much attention to the whole genre, although I obviously saw the film.
For some reason, the separate plastic helmets for the Martians make me grin. Very nicely done.
Mars Attacks RUINED my childhood for a time! It freaked me out good and proper! I think I will revisit the film at some point… see if I have manned up yet, but this game does look gorgeous, I am dead curios to know how the Saucers work, they have to be huge surely!
Looks fun. Thought so too when the KS was out but with a new born sadly (but understandably 😉 ) nappies are the priority 😀

looks like Mantic is doing great, their best selling pre ordered game about to ship and the latest KS is now the one with the most backers for Mantic and the campaign end rush has barely started

ARBBL were lucky enough to have a pathfinder give us a preview of the box. Very impressed with the production quality. The rules are similar to Deadzone and an ideal introduction to Mantics world of games.
I cant wait for my kickstarter stuff to arrive! I so want to play this. Love those bugs.

One piece minis with that level of detail…really cool!!!
I thinking I should get some 28mm scale models kits, maybe an abrams or some other tank to give the marines some extra kit….if only Ronnie would do the rules for tanks…..
@warzan so Mars Attacks Weekend it says on the banner, what else is on the way. I’ve had the pleasure of having a set to demo at my LFGS a few weeks ago and it went down a storm. Easy to learn and play straight out if the box, everyone was hugely enthusiastic and had a great laugh. Never before have I seen a “board game” with spectators!
Such a shame I missed the KS. Now waiting for retail to get this one. Or win it here? 🙂

Looking forward to my Dreadball KS, my Dungeon Saga next year and wishing I’d had the money to back Deadzone and Mars Attacks when they ran the KS for those. Ah well. I was worried about the quality of the minis, but having seen them in person I’m really happy with them.
With Mars Attacks being compatible with Deadzone, will we see the Martians in the Warpath universe?

Wow much more impressive than I’d expected. I was never big on the cards or movie, but as a GAME this looks very captivating. I’d certainly be happy to sit down and play this!

Does anyone have the figures? How is the plastic? I am curious to see how this Mantic mix is, as they are using it for Dreadball Extreme, Dungeon Master and future projects.
I just received a box of Deadzone and the zombie hard plastic sprues are excellent! It bodes well for the future. Restic is fine for heroes and large models, but troops in restic wasn’t my cup of tea.

can’t wait for the release i really want to get this for my family. it will make a fantastic Christmas family game. Plus I played the demo game in edinburgh and thoroughly enjoyed it, even though most of marines got wiped out by my own weapon haha

Used to be that I just bought GW. Then Privateer came along and I gave up a few armies to get into Warmachine. Now there is just so many good games to choose from GW is just a small part of my hobby exposure. Mantic are one of the new companies vying for my top spot! 😉

I have to admit that when the KS campaign was running I hardly gave the game a second thought. Now that I’ve seen some game play and those fabulous martian minis though…I’m wishing I’d gone in on the campaign in a big way. 🙁
