Fire Hawks! I wont spoil the background for those not familiar, but they have a very interesting story which is also ‘in the gaps’.
Or 21st Cursed founding. Also really awesome background.
Minotaurs are a 21st founding chapter… 😉
I see a pattern here 😉
Probably one of the more obvious suggestions but Legion of the Damned are always cool.
The Relictors are another legion with colourful history but don’t get much time in the spotlight.
And off the top of my head I’m not sure who the guys are that get pasted during the 3rd War for Armageddon. Is it the Celestial Lions? I’d love to know about their shady past with the Inquisition that seems to damn them.
And I’ll second the above post about the Cursed Founding. Very cool part of Astartes fluff.
I second the legion of the damned.
Because I was never within the mainstream I would like to have a themed weekend for the Tau and especially for the Farsight Enclaves.
The whole story around the (Dark-)Eldar would be fascinating, too.
I’d like to know more about the Farsight Enclaves too!
Death Spectres and what are the inhabitants of the Ghoul Stars that they guard against.
Seconded. I would also like to know more about the Ghoul Stars threat.
Great series guys. I would like to know more about Death Watch marines.
soul drinkers
i would loe to hear more about the fire hawks /legion of the damned
Don’t buy too heavily into the theory the Fire Hawks became the Legion of the Damned. LotD have recorded appearances well before the Fire Hawks were lost in the warp.
Death Watch would be a good one especially with the rich background the RPG gives you and them being a nice tie in to the Inquisition. Or maybe that’s one to save for a transition to the Inquisition in the future.
Can we get answers about those damned Squats aka Space Dwarves that once existed ?
I heard that they dove head first into the maelstrom in search of good beer and found themselves facing Veermin on a crazy football pitch
must have been Belgian beer then.
Maybe they had more Kwak ? 😉
executioners chapter ,really awsome chapter and thier history interwines with the space sharks
13th Company
Fire Hawks
Legion of the Damned
Angels of Wrath (citadel journal)
Emperor’s Wolves
Red Wolves
Rainbow Warriors
Yellow Jackets
Like to here about the Blood Axes (Ork’s), who used to fight alone side what was once called the Imperial Guard,
if there were any character Commissar’s who sharpened there teeth, or learned their art of war by fighting alongside these green comrades. .
The Ordo Xenos of the Inquisition could be an interesting one. But my choice would be the Explorator Tech Priest’s of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
Would love to see a unified presentation on the Soul Drinkers or Imperial Fists.
Soul drinkers, good shout, traitors but not traitors!
Defintely Legion of the damned, you can’t go wrong with Flames and Skulls.
Go with the Abadan War chapters, considering most of there fluff goes back to rogue trader.
Also, the other guy offering ‘details’ get him to read, at least lexicanum prior to these, the lack of detail on the carcharodons was disappointing. These videos have an awesome opportunity to lay down the etc tad bits!
Also, why not reference sourcebooks? (Again, bottom of the lexicanum page), for a ‘would you like to know more? feature.
Elvis
Ah, also, mark my words, FW will see a badab release this year.
They’ve already said there’s a new book coming featuring the Red Scorpions
Who’s the guy that wrote them? Can’t remember, but I had a chat with him 8 months ago, he said he had a third book FW didn’t want o release, but said after the HH phase that has just ended would see him revamp the old ones and possibly roll his third book never released into it.
Scythes of the Emporer, Space Wolves, Iron Warriors, Lost and the Damned, Some of the Eldar Craftworlds.
Black Legion
Imperial Guard (Astra Militarum)
Tau Fire Warriors
iron hands
sons of medusa
Steel confessors
Da great ork clanz.
Can we branch into the Guard units, toying with the FW Elesium Drop troops, is there any fluff for them?
one of Anthony Reynolds Word Bearers books features Elysian Drop Troops. They die, but the are still bad ass.
Grey Knights would be great to hear about also all history of space wolfs. White scars also please.
Eldar Exodites (or as i imagine it, the eldar on endor)
Legion of the Damned
adeptus arbites
Blood Pack Traitor Regiments (heard they described as both Traitor Guard and Mercenary Regiments with industrial resources behind them)
Lost and the Damned forces – as in the Eye of Terror (Abhuman using chaos Guard).
And I love WordBearers – after all, they really started it all.
Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs Minotaurs.
Pretty Please!!!
What he said
Sisters Of Battle.
I would love to know more about Alpha Legion. Who wouldn’t?
Or anything (including theories and best guesses) regarding chapters 2 and or 11.
second the missing chapters idea.
Gone quiet the last few years, but, erm…
THE INHERITORS!!! would love to see that idea resurrected
That’s going back a bit!
I know @deaddave but it’s worth a pop 😉 besides, with all the cool stuff coming out from the likes of Anvil and Puppetswar
So, Carchadoons aren’t a type of cookie?
I’d love to hear more about the minotaurs!
The Salamanders or the Squats
The Exorcists ? or why not go into a DElder Cabal? Or a battle like the Badab war? or Orpheus? Regardless – great shows guys!
Any of the more classic chapters like Ultramarines, Dark Angels, Black Templars, Space Wolves,…
I feel like they’re the core of the Space Marine lore and have a lot to offer.
Any of the Cursed Foundings!!!
I’d like to know more about the Mordian Iron Guard, or any of the other more obscure Imperial factions. I’ve always liked the Mordian models as well
Minotaurs
Knights of Blood are they loyal or not??
Soul Drinkers
red hunters and their connection to inquisitors
Legion of the Damned
Soul Drinkers
Black Talons
Death Watch
Minotaurs
Night Hawks
Wolf Brothers
Alpha Legion
Berserkers of Kharadon
Claws of Lorek
Death Shadows
Punishers
Warp Ghosts
Can think of a few more, but I’ll keep them back until later…….
I’ve followed the setting for a long time, and got some of the Forge World books, so what I’d really like to see explored are some of the chapters that only appear in novels. I’m thinking of the Soul Drinkers and Iron Snakes especially. Chapters that have had their story developed outside of the rules and codex releases, that you only really know about if you’ve read the books.
I think Dan Abnett is a much better writer than Ben Counter, so I’d probably like to hear about the Iron Snakes more than the Soul Drinkers, but actually I’d be interested to know more about both of them.
Eldar Exodites for sure
Sisters of Battle?
I would love to go into stuff about the different Chapters of Marines and such, especially the Badab War (which might be a good week, weekend or Monday series to do at some point).
However, in all honesty I think the Imperial stuff should be distanced a little. We’ve alreadyh had The Emperor for three episodes, Carcharodons for a weekend, and a whole week of thee Adeptus Mechanicus.
I think something like doing the Eldar Harlequins and the Ancient Eldar, then branching out in the following Episodes about Craftworld and Dark Eldar would work great, along with background, tactics and lists being done. The Harlequin stuff could also have stuff about the Webway and Black Library done too, which comes back to Tzeentch and a little bit about Ahriman, it can all sort off branch out!
An in-depth look at Alpha Legion and their dealings
Can you do?
Space wolves
Crimson fists
Sisters of battle
Like to know more about the Iron Snakes. Apart rom Dan Abnett, know one really knows much about them.
Hmmmm… how about the Red Scorpions?
Death Korps of Krieg
Eldar Exodites
i would love to see the goffs (orks) one of the most brutal of all the clans and being an ork player like forever they don’t seem to be getting much love lately
Red Scorpions
Fire Hawks / Legion of the Damned for me.
sisters of battle
legion of the damned
pretty please
Mentor legion, back in the day they used to have all the experimental stuff!
Om new in THE world of Warhammer (sorry
Im new in THE world of Warhammer but THE Deathwatch Marines sounds very cool
The Hrud would be nice ^^
If you’re gonna look at the Minotaurs then you should also look into the Maynarkh Dynasty of the Necrons, they have black hole guns!
Death Spectres or the Far Sight Enclave.
Black Dragons? Would be lovely to model.
Or the Reasonable Marines 😉
How about a look at the Tau Empire, and especially their many allies. We know about the Kroot and Vespid, because they are in the main books, but many more allied species are hinted at. Are the Demiurg actually a remnant of the Squat for example?
And what about the development of the Tau race? The way the story is told it almost seems like they were planted and then uplifted for a purpose. But who did it? And why?
I’d like to see something about the inheritors of the galaxy (if the Tyranids don’t eat it first). Yes, plasphemy, I know. But we already know about the grimdark and fatalistic future of the Imperium. It would be nice to ponder what might come next.
The inquisition would be great to hear about. Maybe even some of the lesser known Ordos aside from the main 3?
Sisters of battle also please consider
