Returning Warhammer Miniatures Land On Boxing Day This Year
December 3, 2025 by brennon
Games Workshop are bringing two Commemorative Series miniatures back for Boxing Day 2025. If you missed out on these miniatures for Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, you will be able to scoop them up at the end of the year.
Boxing Day Miniatures // Warhammer
For fans of Warhammer 40,000, you will be able to get The Hunter Strikes for the T'au Empire. If you prefer the Mortal Realms and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, you have the Steel Rook for the Cities of Sigmar.
Both miniatures were previously available only at events and so Games Workshop has decided that they will be available once more in Warhammer stores from 26th December for Boxing Day.
The Hunter Strikes // Warhammer 40,000
These miniatures are going to be available while stocks last in Warhammer stores. You will also be able to get them online from Saturday, 10th January 2026, if you don't have a store nearby or just want to avoid going out in the cold.
The Steel Rook // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
The miniatures will also be available only whilst stocks last online as well. A perfect time for those people who missed out to get these miniatures for their own collection. The Steel Rook was a well-liked miniature that is good to see return for a short time.
The new Kroot miniature would be great as an alternative Shaper for your T'au Empire armies and The Steel Rook could be great as a Freeguild Marshal or a champion for your units in games of Warhammer: The Old World.
Will you be trying to get your hands on these miniatures?

Bird on rock does nothing for me, but rook on rock rocks.
