So many videos! What an e-NAM-ous amount of content. XD
I do love the detail on the FoW vehicles.
Yet another video? You’re spoiling us!
Warren’s slow but steady descent to the murky depths of historical wargaming is quite amusing to behold. Keep it up!
Lol I will admit to enjoying the movies 😉
Platoon tonight I think 🙂
My Sherman looks so impotent next to that monster!!
Love me some Beehive rounds
Tank+Shotgun= SPLAT
I have to agree – tanks aren’t what I think of when I think of Vietnam, but fantastic looking models all the same.
Great models and excellent casting
I would like to play as ANZACs
that is a cool army to bring into the game imho
Just changes things up a bit from the US forces
The cover graphic shows South Vietnamese Walker Bulldog tanks not Australian Centurions
Oops I will have it checked in the morning!
Clicked link to post that. 🙂
Also, for cool Centurions. They’re very useful for Arab Israeli wars too *cough* *cough*
Fixed
Nice one
Yeah I did a double take
Did not think FoW could make such a gaff.
Silly Warren. 😛
love it. drop dead gorgeous piece of British military kit, my great uncle saw em in action at Imjin in Korea could be worth picking one up if just for a display piece 🙂
n staxer’s right…
So many great games like this one, so liitle time to play them and so little money to possess them all. 🙁
Man that’s an awesome tank I think I’m gonna have to get me some of those
Yummy.
Rode in a Danish Centurion V a few weeks back. Awesome experience.
great content
a nice bit of kit
Nice tanks to bad they didn’t get much use.
The Centurion packed a punch back then as I recall.
The Anzac army looks pretty interesting. Have to look into those models.
Great show as usual!
Day one and five videos. I was excited, but this made me even more excited for tomorrow. Not the greatest fan that this tank is again an resin / metal kit. Hoped for more plastic kits from battlefront, because they’re awesome!
Yeah Centurions were only in service for 60 YEARS and used in 14 major military operations by 11 countries.
So hardly used at all….(lol.)
What about the Napalm?
The Anzac where one of the best forces in Nam and I hope the game recreates that.
I wonder if the Battlefront boys have thought about doing the Arab/Israeli Conflict as that could be a good direction for them to go?
They say as much in one of their videos but having TOD on their plate right now they’re probably going to not do it in the foreseeable future.

Wow great minds, etc
The more I see of FoW the more I like!
fow is epic
Guys, i thing your site gets better with every single thing you do. Keep up the good work.
CENTURION power!!!!
They realy look sooo nice!!!
I’m surprised nobody has mentioned the nuclear test Centurion that also served in Vietnam.

Great content at always guys. Please please please do a review of the pc game battlefield Vietnam. It is an awesome game that lets you battle in Vietnam while playing all the best music of the time. You get in a jeep hit choose the track u want and it plays and if your opponent is playing musician a vehicle you hear it and it gets louder as he approaches and quieter when he goes away from you. Try it, it’s an Oldy but a goody.
@warzan you ought to take a trip to Bovingdon tank museum sometime.
So cool, my uncle drove a centurion in 1945/46 being posted in Berlin.
Be he would have liked to have driven the mark V!
Beehive rounds – ouch! Know wonder the VC stayed in tunnels!
That’s a lovely kit cant wait to see more
Awesome tank, I can’t wait to see more.
the tanks are great!!!
Great to be able to play with ANZAC forces!
First guess is that the Israelis are using these centurians strictly as training tanks, what with them having rolled out the Merkava IV not that long ago, and considering the numbers of Merkava III’s manufactured.
We use them as targets. Training tanks are the same tanks as the fighting tanks. Tanks are so specialized, I can’t imagine training on one and using that skill on another one.
I have to get myself one of those they look awesome
Ah, great classic tanks…. I used to be an M-60 tank crewman many moons ago; most of my leadership were Armor Vietnam Vets….. They’re using the “obsolete?” M-60s to create artificial barrier reefs or donating them to third-world countries…. 🙁
It’s great to see these come to life again….. I repeat the call for A&I war minis
Actually, Egypt fields a lot of M-60’s. Israel has a bunch with an upgrade kit and Turkey also has a fleet (with an Israeli upgrade kit).
Love FOW’s gear. Was kind of hesitant about Vietnam, but geez, those Centurions look AMAZING.
i have got the book yet but does it say the centurion can work for the Americans
Not convinced yet by the FoW rules, but Battlefront models are top notch and could, of course, easily be used with other rulesets. At least, I’d give FoW another try, if BoW kindly provides me the models… 😉
as always nice detailed tanks. good jop bf.
id like to see anything in the NVA punch through a centurion
I love that tank, so big…
such a cool looking tank!
Saw three Centurions at the tankfest a few weeks ago, great show by the way! Man this tank really is something. The only thing holding me back is budget… 🙂 Got cavalry and PAVN, but going to buy Centurians for sure. Maybe for use with Israely/Arab conflict?
The size comparison of the WW2 tanks next to that is incredible.
Those are some big ass tanks
I love the smell of spray paint in the morning
Welcome to The Nam BoW! Best thing i like about Nam is how cinematic the scenarios are.
Nice looking kit. Hadn’t even realised that the Aussies had played a part in Vietnam.
My favourite British tank ever developed.
No, Warren, you can’t tankshock every single infantryman. 🙂
Lookin good.
Flames of War is one of the best games I’ve ever played on tabletop. I want that US Rifle Company badly! My 101st WW2 Airborne Infantry needs a good company on the shelf! 😀
13 centurions sounds good to me.
Let’s make a vote: Centurion Tank or the Abrams?
Who doesnt love a good tank?
Tempted by an Anzac army now as well….
I’m loving flames of war Vietnam!!!!!
That’s a great looking model
Great tanks in real life at the time. Great looking models from Battlefront.
I know its the same comment, but I am currently running the Internet through my and none of the videos want to load!!
Hmm, they are great looking Models, but I’m not sure how I feel about Wargaming in a realistic setting.
Still, Maybe I can Concert them into something 🙂
**Really want to watch the videos – damned phone!!
Are you guys going for some kind of number l videos posted record. I can’t possibly watch them all, I will of course try.
Interesting tank, not that striking to look at but really interesting historically
Love those centurions
Those tanks look very big which is a bit worrying givin that in Vietnam the jungles would make it hard to move
Really nice tank, great detail at this scale. It’s freaking huge, too!
Best part of any Vietnam movie is when they order the bomb drop right on top of the camp
I love the magnetized turrets FOW tanks come with.
Keep it coming, loving all the ‘nam stuff.
gotta love the detail on those tanks … wouldnt have guessed 15mm at first glance
Great vid Warren, and interesting historical/usage information….
We want more lol!
The tank is huge. Is it just me or the box features both metal and plastic details? is it standard practise? I have previously only encountered all metal or all plastic/resin, etc.
Never ever had any intrest in historical war games but Im feeling hooked on Vietnam, thanks BoW for helping me flush out my bank account!
Hodor!
Nice details
Fingers crossed.
It’s huge allright, it gives my shermans an inferiority complex…
nice british made tank
loving fow more with each video!
Wow. I had no idea that tanks were used in Vietnam nor in fact that the Commonwealth were even involved. I always thought it was an American War.
That tank looks mighty impressive. I am going to have to pick up Tour Of Duty just learn more about the war.
Nice video chaps.
That’s a bad a$$ tank!
random comment to win stuff
This tank is awesome. The model looks fantastic. Not just fantastic, Christopher Eccleston Ninth Doctor fantastic!
anzacs made me get into fow ‘nam. but strangely i don’t own any yet
These make me wanna do an Anzac force.
I really love the WW2 FoW models but those tanks look awesome!
Quite possibly my favourite Free World tank of the era.
Have to win me some of this!
Some of this stuff, the vehicles mostly, would be great to adapt to do the Yom Kippur War from 73. The Centurians were used extensively by the Israelis and the T-54 is almost identical to the T-55 used by all the Arab armies at the time. Someone just needs to come up with a decent set of rules.
Great looking tank kit.
Best theme week yet guys. Thoroughly enjoyed it all. Especially nice touch with the music. And i liked the multiple unboxings spread over the week.
I’m going on a copy+paste mission now to maybe win an army. If not, i’ll be buying one anyway.
Love this tank almost got to drive on in New Zealand
This has become my favourite BF model. It rocks!
Ben
this tanks is just great
