“Of course, now it looks like crap” lol.
You are such a talented painter and I love to watch you at your craft but your blunt humour is what kills me.
LOL
A good start. 🙂
Great Video! My husband always starts with the skin as well, however for some reason it makes me nervous! I always start pants, or capes depending on the miniature.
There are no wrong methods… As long as you get results !
I learn so much from your tutorials Romain. Great Thank you.
Minis to paint. Co-op questing with friends and customisable stories… I want one 🙂
Great start to the miniature.
I like the cartoony style of the mini
Yay myth, I want a clear rat please.
You have me inspired to actually paint ours. We’ve talked about it but just never got around to it. One again your calm soothing voice has lured me in.
Love Romain <3 <3 living legend
Cool.
My gaming group would love that game.
Good start
Mould lines, huh? Is it the material or the placement (or both?) that make it a tricky prospect?
There was a time when I wouldn’t care about them but now I feel compelled to clean up every miniature before applying any paint.. and this could be a problem considering how many you get in the Myth box!
This game looks awesome
fantastic game! I need one!
plenty of clean simple mini’s in the box. the acolyte likes cool and the terror with 1000 legs is a massive piece. looking forward to painting them!
Love your painting vids, thanks!
Wonderfull. Now tell me how to paint the other 199 mini’s I received. 🙂
Thanks !
In answer to your query : Like this, but with different colours.
Nice start for now. Bring it on!
Cant wait for the next installment
No one’s going to touch on the ‘Ginger Phenomenon’ Romain brought up then? Cowards 😉
Allow me: I have no idea why red haired folk are often singled out – it appears to be a deeply routed cultural phenomenon, almost like a reflex action, that no one (when asked) can explain adequately. Even my brother questioned me when I painted a few Battle Sisters with red hair and he’s a pretty tolerent bloke (except when he drives then he turns into a proper nutter). It is perhaps a bit casual, even a prejudice that has become more of a cultural joke than anything else. There was a story a few weeks ago about a guy over here (in the UK) who made himself a ‘Ginger Discount’ card, it even worked and he got some money off haricuts, lunch etc. Quite insane really. I guess there a host of reasons, cultural, social, evolutionary perhaps? I’m sure you can Google it and come up with all kinds of gak. However, for me, I’m rather fond of our red haired brothers and sisters; except this one guy I shared a flat with in Uni, he was a complete ***t 🙂
I am rather jealous of the paint/hobby product wall surrounding you in these vids Romain. One day I hope to have a painting cave like that. One day…
Can’t wait for more!
I have a red beard, can I win the prize?
Romain
Its always a joy to watch you work!
Good start !
such a joy watching Romain paint
Looking forward to how this turns out.
….Nice going
That guy has got a lot of paint. I’m envious
great vid
Nice video Romain,I went for the classic scheme paint though, in a game with so many artwork I like my minis to look the same.
Prize
Romain paint the hell out of the mini could happily watch you paint all day.
Thank you again, Romain, for a most instructive and entertaining video.
Another painting video that’s a pleasure to watch, it’s such a pity they are so short, as I find myself feeling that only a couple of minutes have passed since the start of the video and the end…
Looking forward to the rest of the Myth week videos, I didn’t back this but looking at the minis, I’m hoping I’m one of the lucky 3 for a change
Can’t wait to see our ordinary hero all painted up.
Another great painting guide, as usual
Looking forward to painting these minis.
painting the minis should always be the way!
Surprising how entertaining watching some one paint can be

Pure Roman greatness! More! We want more!
Looking forward to the next part!
Nice
I love Romain’s Tutorials…. they’re so soothing 🙂
Really wish I backed this KS when it was active- the savings were crazy.
the pose is nice and i would be tempted to paint them
Always like a detailed painting tutorial
Nice start, waiting the part two now!
Thanks a lot, guys ! Your comments mean a lot to me ! 🙂
I suck at painting, but I still want Myth.
Thanks for the tutorial.
Looking forward to trying this myself.
Insert prize here. No First Price for Romain for his dry and to the point Humor
The No should not have been in there!!! I meant First Price to Romain for his dry and to the point humor!!
You’re fine, dear ! We all got it. 🙂
A nice reserved start as usual.
somehow i think that you miss sometimes angle of camera so that we can see all
We constantly fiddle with camera settings… We try new things… Most of the time, we improve. This time, adapting to tge new setting was tricky…
What is on the plate that you are putting the paint on?
It’s a palette. A wet palette, actually. See my tutorial about that… It’s right here on BoW, just search for it ! 🙂
another awesome video romain, you teach me so much!
good video
WIP
Interesting color choices.
Looks like a really interesting start. I can’t wait to see it finished…
Instructive and as always entertaining
I couldn’t afford the kickstarter, so I’d love a chance at winning Myth bundle!
My first time watching one of these videos. Oh god those shelves!
I would hate to Myth out on thith opportunity to win the game!
looking can’t wait for the finished product.
Pulling a ticket for the lottery …
That warped sword is awfull – did you try somehow fixing it? Maybe a quick soak in the hot water like the PP minis?
I tried. Actually it’s much less bent than it was. The plastic is bad quality… If the sword melts, the whole mini melts. 🙁
Me please, pick me. This game looks awesome so sad I missed the kickstarted
Myth is a great game.
I am a terrible painter, so it is fun to watch someone with ability do this!
Helpful, quite helpful.
I’ve really got to start using a wet pallet, especially in this aussie summer. Can’t paint unless a cool change comes through, lol
Myths looking good
Sigh. Stop making this game interesting. I can’t afford any more interesting.
Winning comment here?
Another great themed week, the game looks awesome! Thanks guys!
awesome stuff, this game looks like a lot of fun
I would love to see an episode on priming specifically about Black v White and others to make the best use for a model. May have been done but would like to see if it makes a difference with three models that are the same and prime them differently and then see how the painting is different (if at all).
Another great video.
It’s worth considering… However, it really depends on the model as well. We’ll see ! 🙂
It’s not just the painting it’s the commentaries that make these vids
Commenting for greater justice o/
Love the work!!
Another fantastic vid from the awesome R.
