Wargame Exclusives Announce New Winterfresh Releases

Wargame Exclusives have announced two new additions to their range of miniatures, and these latest "Winterfresh" releases are available at discounted prices for this weekend only!
First up, we have a Greater Good Ronin. I have to say, I'm a bit underwhelmed with this guy. He looks like he got dragged to a convention by his girlfriend, and attempted a half-assed R2-D2 cosplay to keep her happy. Even his pose makes him look like he doesn't want to be there. Don't worry R2-Douchebag, the feeling is mutual.
At least his girlfriend is having a good time at the convention, and she's trying a little harder with her Predator/Ripley crossover cosplay. I still don't think this Chaos Possessed Cultist With Claws is going to win any prizes but at least the posing is dynamic, and the detailing, especially around the base, is much more engaging.

Lol ! Well said @cassn i’m totally with you on the Tau Ronin! I’m a Tau player and i like having otions with minis when i play against my friends and i can say this: I’m not gonna get this one!
Gee, tea cold and milk soured this morning? The Ronin is a Tau (ask your new colleagues, especially Lloyd)-see the hooves. And everyone into miniatures knows (tongue firmly planted in cheek) that scantily and impractically clad females have special armor invulnerablity (or that sex sells).

Massive armour other than over her heart, lungs and other organs. That’s just bloody daft.
I like the Ronin. He looks like he’s been outcast and wandering for a long time. He’s seen the world and is now bitter, cynical and completely demoralised. The kind of character that could just possibly be inspired by some heroic young pupil to come out of retirement and pass on his skills.
I also think it’s interesting to see a Tau who instead of assimilating humans and other species into their own empire is heading out on his own (though choice or not?) and is presumably now mixing with others on more equal terms.
Interesting models.
Not really to my taste not big on fat not-tau-honest, or Chaos ladies with everything armoured except their vital organs
