Antediluvian (I'm so glad I now know that word and what it means) Miniatures have now released their Conquistadors Of Mictlan range for those looking to take their Fantasy adventures into the heart of a dark and unforgiving jungle.

The set of adventurers breaks down into a few different options. The first of these includes some human explorers, namely Leonardo the Mage, “El Loco”, Francesco the Apprentice, and Bernal the Swordsman.

This is then combined with the second set which offers up Lisa The Swordswoman, Pedro the Halfling Thief, Mendoza the Swordsman and Alvarez the Dwarf Marksman. So, you can already put together quite the diverse crew!

Whilst these characters have no game of their own you could certainly use these for something like Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago for their adventures or maybe Thud & Blunder now that has arrived on the scene from The Ministry of Gentlemanly Warfare.

If you're looking for some heroes to lead the way they also have Rodriquez & Maria who could be those who travelled here in year's past, now found by you, telling tales of the horrors that await.

The team at Antediluvian do some great stuff from across the spectrum and this new line-up is just what folks need to start telling alternative Fantasy tales on the tabletop.

Doom In The Jungle

As well as the heroes you're going to need some villains. As well as working on a collection of shambling explorers, reanimated to serve once more...

...you'll also need the Lich that brought them back too. There are two flavours of Lich for you to choose from and they can also be snagged as a bundle with the objective of your adventures.

This is clearly the strange creation that is allowing them to continue summoning the undead and turning your crewmates into soulless monsters!

Again, this is an inventive and fun new range which could be used across the gambit of Fantasy skirmish games.
