Love Infinity…their models are stunning and nice to paint, though sometimes a bit fiddly. I always worry about some of the thinner models getting damaged and making me cry.
Very glad to hear about the conscious decisions made to have the figures easier to assemble. Loved them before, but the antennae were enough to cause an aneurysm.

The father knight is my favorite. He looks so amazing.
The Mobile Brigada I like most. I need it for my qapu khalqi. I always wanted one but did not like the old design. Second is the Father Knight, followed by the Nisse. Its name must be Tomte Tumetot…
I really like the new design for the MB, both in terms of the concept and the execution of the sculpt. Of course the Spektr (great pose) and the new Fusilier designs are awesome too!

Love the fusiliers more than anything else. If the foot-grunts are so beautiful this game is worth every penny.
The Nisses sniper is probably my favourite design, despite all of them being great – that greatcoat is just too good!

The Mobile Bregada is of course really great, but I find the Grenzer especially interesting. Can’t wait to learn what it can do!

I’ve been following the design process for Infinity for quite a while, especially from slides and artwork revealed at places like Gencon and other specialist hobby shows, the designs have always been thoroughly eye catching but my only complaint is that the posing of Infinity minis can be a bit weird, rather than looking as though they are in a firefight many minis are posed as though they are on a catwalk for a photography shoot. It’s the one element of Corvus Belli’s design that stops their figs being the defacto best on the market imo.

The Mobile Brigada HAS to be considered the best model – it is such a good update to a very dated model. I love the way the design ties in so well with the Iguana squad, Gecko and ‘Cats. Don’t get me wrong, the limited-to-box Pan-O Knight is sweet too, but the Mobile Brigada has to be the best model.
Very impressed by the set and I plan on picking one up soon.

Everything in this box is beautiful. At this rate they could put out nothing be resculpts and have no complaints from me. The new Mobile Brigada is awesome, but it love the line troops more than anything else.
I like the sci-fi Grenzer idea! It is so interesting! The Grezers were Croatian,Italian, Serbian, Hungarian and Romanian soldiers, who defended the southern borders of the Habsburg(Austrian) Empire! They had fast made and cheap uniforms. These were made by modified local, native clothings (like greatcoats or attila jackets). But in the later era of the Napoleonic wars these regiments had more modern uniforms like the regular Austrian or Hungarian soldiers, just with other colours! But the Infinity style is more awesome! 😀

For someone who is new to the game, these insightes are great and suprisingly good to follow. Really insane what huge amount of work goes into even the smallest detail. And the result is spectacular.
These videos are really making wonder what the hell took me so long to take the plunge and try out this game; great minis, tons of third-party support and a company that appears to really care about its customer base…I am totally sold…

When you’re given a range of options and one of them is a sexy nun with a giant gun, there is no real question about which you’ll choose.
love how they have streamlined the design of PanO troops into more cohesive fighting force, very fluff fitting of a massive military complex as opposed to mix and match feel (Fusiliers are going to look great next to the new Bolts, alongside the amazing new ORC)

As much as I like the models, I can’t get past the overcoat on the one PanO model. It feels like they started to lose inspiration there.
the price is going to hammer my wallet, but at least you always know that the models will be of excellent quality

Man, I wish my FLGS had Infinity players, so I had a better excuse to buy this set. Probably the best looking model IMO (i.e. my favorite) is the Mobile Brigada, but literally every mini in this is pure class.

If I have to choose It would be the mobile Brigada, but I really belive all the box is the winner for me, it has taken me from non infinity to a pro-infinity.
Really good and interesting run through of the design process – it’s reassuring that the Corvus Belli crew have been doing some clever thinking not just about the redesign, but how best to use the opportunity to give Infinity a tune-up and draw in new players. Excited about the new direction, but massive nostalgia about the old sculpts and logos! Still, Nisses for the win!

Dem Nomads! I have to say every time I see them I want to play Mass Effect with my red armored (and sexy) FemShepard. I mean really guys and gals, an Infinity video game that played and look liked the Mass Effect series would be very rewarding. More story plot > than action focused.
I don’t recall a comprehensive box set like this where I liked every miniature in it. The time Corvus Belli put in designing it shows in the results.

From an artist point of view, this video was really interesting. Seeing how the design decisions were made and the whys and hows of models inclusion into each force made me wan to get the sketchbooks out once more. I always liked the Infinity artworks, which is exactly the reason why I will buy the 3rd edition book without hesitation. 😉
I have too many games already. I have so many unpainted miniatures, I started using project management software to keep track of my painting schedule (so I can finally get some full armies completed rather than a bit here and a bit there). This is a great-looking starter set that I absolutely do not need right now.

Again the detail is fabulous, GW take note! It sort of puts the fine cast rubber/resin in its place.

I love that they are trying to strengthen the visual identity of the factions. This is always something I’ve felt they needed to do. When I first tried to pick which faction I’d want to start I couldnt see any real difference between the appearance of the factions.

Loving the new designs whkch concentrate on uniformaty of armour of specific armor types. Witheach video I watch, it makes me want to cease all my commission work and paint models just for me, hehe. About the new style direction of the game as a seasoned player I began years ago because of the old sculpts, but except for the nomad’s weapons design – which it’s good but not as good ad the old ones to me – I’m really intrigued by the new sculpts and possibilities open thanks to 3D sculpting.
And also today I found it worthy to log on BoW, you guys really know how to boost hype on a product. How can I wait till mid-september now?

Outside of going to a major convention, this has to be the best week in war gaming yet for me. There is so much good info coming out on this absolutely amazing game. I am loving every day of it!
I really like how open CB is being with the development process for their minis.
Several questions for Carlos (if possible):
1. How much redesigning are Corvus Belli planning to do to the other current models? I’m interested on Yu Jing’s Japanese sectorial army, but I’m wondering if I should wait for any redesigned models or not.
2. Do you have any plans to make the packaging of each model to have interchangeable weapons? The way I understand it, if I would like to re-configure my model’s weapon for the next game, I may need to buy an entirely new model..

Such excellent art work.
I like the redesigns and the opportunities that 3D offer to create variations and expand the range. I just hope the miniatures don’t become too uniform. Guessing from the final result of the line troops that shouldn’t become a problem.
I am wondering what to make of my old Mobile Brigada now that it’s technically no longer that model.

PSD hey, would of thought it would all be illustrator! If you ever get a chance ask how that relates to the importing into 3D process (or if they start from scratch again). Would assume they have a library of 3D part shapes to model. Exciting times!

The snipers are always the best
Really great to see the ideas behind the designs for each faction. It would seem that the new 3D computer modelling is making the process of design much faster than traditional sculpting which in this case is a good way of ensuring consistency and easy visual recognition. Interesting video.

It’s interesting to see and hear the thought that goes into designing the miniatures, especially with what they were inspired by and the idea behind making them very distinct from one another. I also love all the conceptual designs for the weaponry, you can tell what they do even when both factions have very different models of weaponry.
Quite nice, even if I’d wish for less knife-wielding maniacs in power armor.

I actually really like the CSU concept. I love concept sketches for the factions but the CSU gives a little more insight in what the everyday life outside of the military.

Appleseed as a tabletop game! When the best of Anime inspires the best of European Game Design and out comes Infinity. Great insight in the internal design process. I admire that everyone has a voice in the designs: artist, designer, creative director, painter, writer and illustrator. The considerations of the different elements needed to create the perfect Infinity starter box and give new players the best possible experience with their first forays into the universe is quite interesting. I would very much like to hear, see or watch an episode on the Corvus Belli approach to game design. Does everything happen in house or do you also use external focus and rule testing (beta testing) to evaluate rule changes or new rules?
