Animals are an extremely popular theme for card games. Even last week, the Kickstarter CATastrophe, features heavily on the devious life of felines. Good Puppers from Asmadi Games - a successful Kickstarter from last year - is now ready to hit retail being released this month with lots of adorable watercoloured doggos ready to get up to some card-drafting mischief.

Good Puppers // Asmadi Games

The game mechanics are relatively simple, and easy to pick up, but involves plenty of strategy to keep your brain ticking. With one game lasting roughly 30 minutes and pitched at ages 14+, this is a fantastic family game for those looking for a quick and competitive card game with delightful watercolour artwork and some damn cute doggos.

The concept of the game is simple, you will be required to collect dogs to achieve their main goal... bury some tasty bones for an appropriate snack later on. 2-4 players will have to create stacks of the same breed from a 100 card deck. The more similar pupperinos you have, the more powerful the effect will be. Each breed contains its own different rules for their bone focussed strategy, which will be tallied up at the end of the game for the most value received.

The game is set to release this month, so keep your eyes open for puppers in the wild at your FLGS and online.

What is your favourite type of doggo?
