Mace Face Miniatures’ 15mm Bogmen Will Be Attacking Soon!

Mace Face Miniatures has been previewing more of their epic 15mm Fantasy miniatures for their Hornblower collection (available through North Star Military Figures). This time, we're seeing the Bogmen rise from the shadowy corners of the world to attack!

The Bogmen faction from Mace Face Miniatures has been designed to match up with Neolithic and Early Bronze Age-style warriors of this world, reanimated and now seeking the living on the tabletop! Mace Face has recommended painting their clothing in a similar style to their Savage Tribes or with ripped and torn clothing to show their bedraggled nature.

Currently, the previews have covered pretty much all of the elements that you'd expect, especially based on the existing range of Shieldmaidens and Savages. You have your regular Bogmen with their hand weapons and spears but you also have the command options who can lead the way for this horde on the tabletop. Imagine the fun you could have working on their tattered banners and that rotting horse head when you're finalising the paint scheme for your miniatures!

All of these miniatures are absolutely packed with detail and should be great fun to paint and slot into your games. They work very nicely with the Barbarica range that you might know from Copplestone Castings, so if you're seeking some Barbarians to do battle with the Bogmen, you might find a slot in your collection for these.

Mathias Rapp has done another brilliant job on these miniatures and it's good to see the Hornblower collection expanding. It was a shame that the Hawkmoon range won't likely see the light of day with Eureka but the Hornblower range is going to be perfect for those diving into Dragon Rampant, Midgard and all sorts of other Fantasy wargames at the moment.
