Hollow Crown Miniatures, a combined venture between Varus Miniatures and InfamousJT, will soon be bringing the Cruciform Order of St George to the tabletop and the dirty, blasted trenches soon.
Field-Knights of the Cruciform Order // Hollow Crown Miniatures
This range of miniatures is influenced by the hot game of the moment, Trench Crusade. Here, we have the Cruciform Order of St George and we've been getting some sneaky previews and peeks at the Field-Knights that make up the elite infantry of this order on the battlefield.
Painted Field-Knight // Hollow Crown Miniatures
In the background of the Cruciform Order of St George, these are elite soldiers who are armoured by faith and the might of English steel! They have protected Christendom for over 800 years and now wander the trench-filled battlefields looking to slay whatever demonic fiends dare to threaten the innocent.
The Field-Knights come armed with both melee and ranged weapons and a great aesthetic which meshes them nicely with Historical touches from English Medieval history. You can see more of the teased miniatures below, which blend World War I and Medieval designs.

These miniatures have been sculpted by Ari Nielsson and will be available soon via Kickstarter. The project will feature both physical miniatures and digital files, so you'll have plenty of choices when it comes to sinking your teeth into this range. A fascinating addition to the growing selection of alternative Trench Crusade miniatures out there.
What do you make of the Cruciform Order of St George?

Kniggits with tommy guns! These look amazing. Consider me on board.
That’s 100% King Arthur from Monty Python!
We never thought of King Arthur, but now you have mentioned it: I cannot get it out of my mind! So when I paint up my my own warband, I guess he will be called Order Marshall Arthur Python 🙂
Thank you!
I wonder with all these Trench Crusade creations from different companies are going to remain “open source” (or anyone can do it)? We had a similar this with all things Turnip, but that was all about kitbashing rather than having sculpts made specifically for the game. It would certainly be interesting if this continues, and if these companies are able to add to the lore (of if it has to be done only by the game authors)?
Hey!
We are unofficial and the lore is just a bit of flavour we are making up for minis. I really liked a recent video where Tuomas was interviewed with questions from the community, in reply to a question he talked about the importance and fun of homebrew rules and lore. We really respect the guys from TC and they have seen pretty much all of our miniatures (possibly all of them actually) since we started sculpted them and long before we announced them. We wanted to make sure they were okay as our goal was always to work with the Community License (this is still our goal and we are waiting for the new one to be published). We hope that we add something original with our own spin 🙂
Ah more Trench Crusade, its becoming like Ultra Smurfs
There are rather nice looking minis however.
Thank you! Glad to hear you like them. I like Ultra Smurfs 🙂
