Snap Up Niche Crafts’ Griffon Troll From Ramshackle Games

Continuing their collaborations with various artists, Ramshackle Games has now added the impressive Griffon Troll by Niche Crafts to their collection. See what you think of this fearsome, 28mm scale Fantasy creature.
Griffon Troll // Ramshackle Games
The Griffon Troll is the first sculpt from Niche Crafts that has been cast properly. There is some real character built into the sculpt and I love all of the little details like his beady eyes and the way the feet have been sculpted to show off all of that detail. There's something of the Bonner about the final look of the figure.

He even comes with the big rosy bottom, which is sure to distract the enemy when that gets waggled your way. If you'd like to know more about the sculpting of this miniature and why it was a special project, you can watch Niche Crafts' video on it below.
Making My First Miniature | Niche Crafts
I always like seeing the odd miniatures that people sculpt as part of the Community Casting Project that Ramshackle Games runs. It allows us as wargamers, hobbyists and collectors to get our hands on some unique miniatures that otherwise wouldn't see the light of day.
Griffon Troll - Components // Ramshackle Games
As with all of the Ramshackle Games sculpts, they come on those chunky bits of resin that can be used to help create basing for your miniatures. This could be a rather unique creature for you to throw into games like Frostgrave or as part of a miniatures-based roleplaying adventure. A cross between an Owlbear and a Troll, perhaps?

Griffon Troll? It’s an owlbear that somebody plucked all the feathers off. “I want comfy cushion! Grab me the owlbear feathers!” XD
It was also very recent – his butt cheeks are still red!
It reminds me of the Muppet griffon from Jim Henson’s Storyteller series.
