New Special Warhammer Event Figures On The Way For 2026
January 29, 2026 by brennon
Games Workshop has shown off some of the Commemorative Warhammer Figures that will be available this year. You have one for Warhammer 40,000 and one for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, covering the hardy humans fighting in the Grimdark Future and The Mortal Realms.
Cadia Unbroken // Warhammer 40,000
The first of these miniatures is for Cadia Unbroken. It showcases a Cadian Castellan standing stoically on the battlefield as bullets and all sorts go whizzing past. Even many years after the fall of Cadia, their troops still hold out resolutely against the tides of enemies that threaten the Imperium.
She is sculpted atop discarded rubble with a power sword at the ready, looking to strike down whatever enemy ends up leaping over the trenches and charging towards her lines.
If you prefer The Mortal Realms, you can also get the miniature, Dawner’s Reward.
Dawner's Reward // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
Fighting as part of a Dawnbringer Crusade might have seemed like a noble endeavour when the Steelhelms first set out but after many months, even years, on the battlefield, the weariness starts to set in. This miniature represents a soldier taking a moment of respite after a hard-fought battle.
His blade drips with blood, probably from the dead Kruleboy at his feet, whilst his armour is chipped and battered. All for the glory of Sigmar. Whilst I like the idea, it probably would have been nice to see the soldier slumped or sitting down on the floor, really portraying that exhausted state that he's in.
Both of these miniatures will be available at AdeptiCon this year and then at other events throughout the year.
Are you going to be snapping up either of these miniatures?

Why does Dawner’s Reward’s face look like a zombie?
Dude’s seen some shit
Thousand-yard stare
The guy at the top makes me think of Herr Flick of the Gestapo.
Both look pretty good. Not gaudy, just enough detail. I’m nitpicky, though, and I don’t like the AoS guy’s shield.
I’d love to rescue a lot of the Cities minis for a better game, but they have been touched by GW’s trademark Way Too Much Detail.
I’d like to have them both, even if the Castellan would be used for my 122nd.
