Yarrick Battles Orks In New Warhammer 40,000 Supplement
March 26, 2026 by brennon
Whilst the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 is the big news, there's still plenty of 10th Edition for you to sink your teeth into. A new supplement is on the way, supported by an absolute avalanche of new plastic miniatures for the forces of the Imperium backing up Yarrick and the Orks he's taking a pop at.
Commissar Graves // Warhammer 40,000
We've seen Commissar Yarrick already but another stalwart of the Imperium was previewed yesterday in the form of Commissar Graves. Graves is as brutal as Yarrick and has already changed the command structure of the planet, taking control of Armageddon's defence at the end of a bolt pistol. She can be modelled on foot (above) but also on the back of her modified Centaur transport named Vigilance.
Commissar Graves on Vigilance // Warhammer 40,000
When mounted on the back of Vigilance, she is joined by her retinue, The Right Hand. One carries her personal banner whilst two others operate the guns on the back of the modified Centaur. She also sports a brutal powerfist should she need to crush her enemies in the palm of her hand, shattering Ork skulls by the dozen!
Big Game Hunter
Another character coming out alongside the Armageddon book is the big-game hunter known as Inquisitor Kroyle of the Ordo Xenos.
Inquisitor Kroyle // Warhammer 40,000
Kroyle has extensive experience in fighting the Ork menace and despite his flamboyant nature, he is a good person to have by your side when you're trying to eradicate Orks from your planet. He rides into battles on the back of a Garralisk and uses his deadly, clearly exotic Jindarii tox-cycler to take out his enemies from extreme range. Shots from his rifle will slowly wear down a foe over time and the Garralisk allows him to become a highly mobile sniper.
Fire & Faith
As well as flamboyance and fury, we also have faith in the form of a new miniature for Intranzia Fraye, Dogmata Superior.
Intranzia Fraye // Warhammer 40,000
The Order of Our Martyred Lady are led by Dogmata Superior Intranzia Fraye on Armageddon from atop the Throne of Blame. This allows her to single out her foes from a good vantage point. She is intensely zealous and doesn't suffer fools. She often finds herself being as brutal on her fellow Battle Sisters as she is when it comes to her foes. There are plenty of spots in the Repentia for those who shirk their duty to the Emperor of Mankind.
New Astra Militarum Vehicles
In addition to the new characters, we also had some great new vehicles for the Astra Militarum. You will soon be able to get the new Centaur RSV and Hippogriff AFV, allowing you a bit of additional speed on the tabletop for scouting the enemy, hitting soft targets and getting the troops to where they need to be.
Centaur RSV // Warhammer 40,000
The Centaur RSV is a rapid strike vehicle that works as an alternative to the Chimera. It can be built open-topped, allowing troops to bail out and get stuck into the fighting in a hurry. It can also come with the hull nailed down, so you avoid all of those rockets and such flying around. Another solid support option, and it has wheels!
As well as the Centaur RSV, you can also get the Hippogriff AFV.
Hippogriff ATV // Warhammer 40,000
The Hippogriff is another quick, mobile, firing platform for the Astra Militarum. It is another nudge by the design team to get those who love their World War II vehicles interested in Warhammer 40,000! It can be armed with the battle cannon, castigator gatling cannon, melta cannon or a classic lascannon. Its speed means that it can sneak around the battlefield and take shots at the enemy when they think they're safe!
Red Goes Fasta'! New Wazdakka Gutsmek
As well as the Imperium miniatures, we also have a new foe! Wazdakka Gutsmek returns with a bombastic new miniature for you to use when leading a great, speedy Waaagh! across the tabletop.
Wazdakka Gutsmek // Warhammer 40,000
This legendary Bikeboss hits the battlefield on the back of Big Revva, looking to crump some humies and make a name for himself in the eyes of the big man Ork himself, Ghazghkull. As one of the iconic Speed Freeks of the Orks, it's great for the legendary character to finally have a proper plastic miniature.
I quite like the posing of the miniature, although I do agree that it's going to be hellish to transport. It also seems like the Games Workshop designers took a leaf out of the Atomic Mass Games playbook when it comes to effects; if you look at the back of the Big Revva.
Gutsmek looks like he is having fun, though and so is his little Grot companion. I imagine that this will end up being a great start to a lot of fun Orks for Warhammer 40,000.
Armageddon: The Return of Yarrick
All of this will be included as part of the new Armageddon: The Return of Yarrick supplement coming to finish off 10th Edition Warhammer 40,000.
The Return of Yarrick // Warhammer 40,000
This book details Yarrick's return to Armageddon and how that comes to be, as well as the fight against Wazdakka Gutsmek’s Speedwaaagh. The book will cover six new vehicle-focused detachments, two each for the Astra Militarum, Orks and the Space Marines. You also have the Armoured Gauntlet book, which will encourage you to field as many tanks, monsters and war machines as you can. Lovely stuff for nerds like John!
All of this will be coming fairly soon, as it's got to be out before the new 11th Edition of Warhammer 40,000 launches in the Summer!
What do you think of these new previews?

Wazdakka Gutsmek. All I see is a silly pose, an insufferable amount of tiny plastic pits that will break off sooner than later and it is way to clean for an Ork. But that has been a trend in 40k for some time now. The “Grim Dark world of the 41st millennium” has become more of a showroom than anything. Yeah, G’Wullu has lost me with their current designs. :S On a positive note: that’s great news for my wallet! 😉
Boo!
WAZDAKKA!!! Awesome orkiness. All the guard vehicles are conversion fodder for my Orks. Super excited.
Green is back, baby! ✅💚
Dakka dakka mutha-fracka.
I do like those Cadian AFVS. They have a distinct WW2 vibe which gets me.
Totally WW2, pure fodder for conversions…
I can’t remember which company does the AFV add-ons (I think it’s Tamiya), but I can already see stuff like paniers filled with jerrycans, or the plates they use to get vehicles out of sand hanging on the side. Or even the stuff you get in the Leman Russ and Chimera kits would work perfectly on them.
Not struck on the commissar half track, however I love the new vehicles.
M8 Greyhound and the standard Halftrack with extra fat armour plating, because that’s what makes it ’40k’
Where is the imagination ?
We had the Rhino and Landraider for spac marines.
Imperial Guard had that odd looking monstrosity with half tracks. Maybe not the best design ever, but most definitely something that looked like it was futuristic.
And now they’re picking the most run of the mill boring vehicles ?
These things will only ever be cool as a body for an Ork, Chaos or Genestealer cult conversion.
I’d rather have the new vehicle for the Damned from Wargames Atlantic.
Agreed; as a kit – dull. As fodder for conversions, fantastic!
You’re saying that, but the front of the halftrack is almost the same as the front of the Taurox. I don’t really think it’s strayed too far away from what was already there. I also think you’re kidding yourself a bit comparing these to the Damned vehicle kits. Don’t get me wrong, I love Wargames Atlantic and I think their infantry squads are infinitely more characterful than the GW ones. But that vehicle they have made for The Damned is dull as dish water; it’s horrible
Lovely stuff 🙂
I love orks, I have a ridculous amount, which won’t be increasing in number on the strength of this reveal
Is it harsh to say tonka might do better ww2 vehicles
The Commis on foot is pretty good, but don’t like the base she’s on though. Love the AFV more Cold War than WW2, looks like a Saladin armoured car.
