Now that had me tempted at your faction can go insane…

noyjatat

Some will start insane as well and have to try and stay insane 🙂

I’ve been playing a lot of Bloodborne so I really can’t wait to see what this game is like, I’m a big fan of victorian and cosmic horror. I hope it’s not too cartoony like Malufaux. And please don’t be resin, please don’t be resin.

noyjatat

We will definitely be trying to keep a good level of realism in our models. We wish to keep the horror aspect and create an atmospheric feel to the game. I think we have been able to portray this in our first model which is one of the reasons we pushed hard to have it for Salute. We wanted to give people a physical representation of the quality and feel of the models we are looking to bring to life and our artwork would also go a long way to reinforcing that.

Not enough art from these companies gets put out. They employ these great artists to do some beautiful artwork, but then its put into a little book and is hardly looked at. More prints please!

noyjatat

Our artists, Shane Cook (character illustrator) and Mate Jako (banner and cover designer), are key to everything we are doing and we are their biggest fans.

Crazy game mechanic, reminds me of the old Eternal Darkness game, could be amazing~

wildchevy

Stunning stuff. Can’t wait to see more.

perpetualdawn

Great to see these guys bringing it to life.. I had a sneaky pre salute peek at the mini and it was so awesome I preordered one on the spot.. Can’t wait..

cornishdaimyo

Lovely to see some top-notch art work being presented in addition to the shinies – certainly looks good laid out on the table and it would really have caught my eye I’m sure.

waywarddarkwolf

Ohhhhh very interesting concept. I would love to see more of the art work and hear a bit more about the game mechanics. Think you guys need to do a follow up with these lads soon.

mulletsteve

saw one of these chaps sat at his stand sketching some really nice looking artwork… tempting

noyjatat

That was Shane Cook. We will be putting up the pieces he sketched at Salute on our Facebook and Twitter pages soon. Its crazy how fast he works!

inquisitorfelix

Art looks absolutely fantastic.

sathrin

Love the concept art, I’m a sucker for that stuff.

wesadie1969

Lovely artwork.

Art Prints in games would be good, but wouldn’t people want more miniatures instead

This year we went through the process of our first event. We have used this to get feedback from gamers and learned lots of things from being on the other side of the table (I need comfier shoes). Next year we are looking to have a number of models from the faction ranges to show, we want these to be a variety of the model types within our game (familiars, leaders, followers and monsters). These will have come from the artwork we had on the table this year. We aim to have some one on one scenarios to show our game mechanics and a larger trade stand along with another prize draw from a yet unreleased piece of artwork. We are group of gamers that have decided to put together a gaming system inspired by subject matter we love. At the same time we all have jobs and families so have to split our finances and time. We hope those that came to see us this year liked what they saw and follow us in our journey to becoming a table top game maker and the more comments and feedback we get along the way the better. The best thing for us would be to have people from this years Salute come to see us next year and find the models that made an impression upon in the artwork come to life as a fully painted miniature.

Gimme, gimme, gimme…

showland

Awesome I’m not worthy

bucketknight

This project is going on the ‘to watch’ list. Will the art book be available? I hope the answer is yes.

noyjatat

As we intend to go to kickstarter I cannot see why a stretch goal could not be a comprehensive collection of the artwork. I will put it to the rest of the guys but I think its something we want as much as you guys seem to.

rayzryr

your sea-queen mini looks awesome! Any chance of purchasing online pre-Kickstarter? I couldn’t make it to salute… slight issue of being on the wrong side of the world…

noyjatat

The Sea Queen model will be available soon for online purchase. We have pushed hard to have everything set up for Salute and will now take a few days to get life back to normal but would like to have the Sea Queen available for online purchase within the next week or two. I will drop you a message with a link when we are set up.

mythos

With my username I’m obviously keen on the development of this game…

Insanity is a very important mechanic in the old Call of Cthulhu RPG by Chaosium so it will be interesting to see this type of concept it used in a skirmish wargame

noyjatat

The Sea Queen is now available to buy online. Thanks for taking the time to view us on the Beasts of War blog and we looking forward to hearing your comments in the future.
