I really like them especially the first mixed tub you showed. Off to his website. 🙂
Yes, not bad at all !
Although you don’t need much to make a base (one or two in the right places to suggest autumn), with such a large quantity, you can have an autumnal forest floor on that battlefield of yours… It’s rarely done !

I have used these type of things before, I used my own version with is a jar of mixed dry herbs, it’s not as good but looked really good. this is just a more professional quality product.
A bit like this: http://www.luminescents.co.uk/catalog/images/mixed%20herbs.jpg
Hi Romain, just wanted to point out one little error: the leaves are not dyed, they are painted. Dyed materials tend to leach out the colour when they get damp from glue, these wont as they are painted.
Thank you for that precision…
I couldn’t tell the difference at first glance, it’s good that you mention it !

Which of these, if any, would you use for a Winter/Snow themed base?
@wargamerlester … how deep do you want your snow to seem? If you want a light covering put the autumnal leaves (maybe darkened with a brown wash) on the base, over some dark brown sand/earth… then sprinkle a little in clumps over that. If you want it to be heavier, then snow flock the base, then put a sprinkling of the brown leaves near one edge of the base and maybe one or two on one of the other edges. For very heavy snow, don’t use leaves at all, just stick some of the spiky clump grass coming out of… Read more »
I have yet to use turf stuff like that on my models. I think I’ll pick some up just to give it a try.
